Consolation in times of Suffering

My favourite prayer:

First I thought I would put together some prayers give to us for times such as these at this time. My favourite prayer , which is so consoling – whether in times of sadness or joy is good to pray each day:

“My Precious Jesus,
embrace me in Your arms
and allow my head to rest upon Your Shoulders,
so that You can raise me up to Your Glorious Kingdom
when the time is right.
Allow Your Precious Blood to flow over my heart
that we can be united as one. Amen.”

Words of Consolation:

“Remember what I told you and keep your eyes focused on Me at all times. Spend at least one hour a day in prayer so that the impact of such trials may be reduced and, in some cases, eradicated.  Do not fear these events as they will pass quickly and soon I will come to bring an end to all suffering.”

By doing so, and not engaging with the beast who works through others to make you doubt your faith, you defeat him.

Prayers to say during times of persecution, suffering and hardship.

All your (Crusade) Prayer groups probably have the prayers organized into different types of themes. We have ours, but I thought during this time of illness and government control and when even our Mass and Sacraments have been taken away so that we can’t attend, I chose some prayers to say instead of our usual selection.
