Easter 2020 begins with terrible Lunar omen over Rome

We have been warned to look for “signs in the skies”

Joel 2:31

“The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes.”

Luke 21:25

“And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves,”

Om March 21, 2020,  we wrote about  an unusual star in the heavens: Read it here: https://remnantdisciplesjtm.com/2020/03/21/signs-in-the-sky-past-and-present/

Bro. Alexis writes about another sign

Easter 2020 begins with terrible Lunar omen over Rome

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

I was the witness of an terrible omen last night, shortly after Midnight. At about 12:30 A.M., as I left the piazza of Santa Maria Maggiore, I saw the waning moon rise, colored to the color of blood.

In the Book of Joel (2:31) and the Book of Revelations (6:12) the ominous sign of the end times is that the “moon will turn to blood”.  The precise meaning of this biblical phrase is uncertain. Saint Peter (Acts 2:20), on Pentecost Day, referred to the prophecy of Joel as being fulfilled by the Descent of the Holy Spirit. But the Fathers of the Church refer the passage in the Book of Revelations to the punishments which God will meet out to the Church of the Antichrist and his followers.

One Catholic explanation of why the Moon turning to blood is a sign of the Apocalypse is this: that just as the Moon turns red during a lunar eclipse, when it is blocked by the Earth from receiving the full light of the Sun, so when the Mediation of Our Lady — who is likened to Her Son, Jesus Christ, as the Moon is to the Sun — comes to an end (that is, is no longer able to withhold the heavy arm of God’s justice, as She warned at La Salette), the full wrath of the Divine Justice will burst upon this world, ushering in the events foretold by the Apostle Saint John in the Book of Revelations.

Astronomers generally consider the reference to the moon turning to blood as that to a Lunar Eclipse. I have used as the featured image, above, just such a photograph, taken by Alfredo Garcia, Jr. on Sept. 27, 2015. I tried to take a photograph, but the camera I had in hand could not resolve the color or size of the moon well enough to to make it worthy.

The only thing is, according to astronomers THERE WAS NO LUNAR ECLIPSE on April 12, 2020! As you can see from this link, the total lunar eclipses for 2020 A. D., are January 10-11 and June 5-6. There will be prenumbal  or partial lunar eclipses on July 4-5 and November 29-30. So astronomically, what I saw was impossible.*

The skies at Rome today and yesterday were both clear, and there are no wild fires burning to the East of Rome, so meteorologically it is hard to explain. See a discussion of the colors of the Moon, here. I did not see a yellow moon, I saw a very deep orange.

However, divine omens do not require a miraculous intervention. They can have natural explanations. What makes them omens of God’s indignation is that they occur at precise moments in human history or in the Liturgical calendar.

The fact that the Paschal Moon rose just after Midnight, over Rome, Italy, colored blood red, therefore, in my opinion, is a terrible sign of God’s Wrath. I think it is because the Vatican ordered Easter not to be celebrated this year with His faithful and because so many of the clergy, forgetting Jesus Christ completely, obeyed the Anti-pope Bergoglio.

Easter Message: Redemption through Suffering

AM+DG

Cardinal Pell’s Easter message is very appropriate for us today.  The secret is to see suffering in its correct light. He refers to his suffering and to ours with the CoVID 19 virus and all it entails. The phrase I like best is: I knew God was with me, but I didn’t know what He was up to”. This is what our attitude today should be, also.

The article is from “The Australian, Sat. April 11, 2020”:

  • 6:02 AM APRIL 11, 2020

“Every person suffers. None escapes all the time. Everyone is confronted with a couple of questions. What should I do in this situation? Why is there so much evil and suffering? And why did this happen to me? Why the coronavirus pandemic?

The ancient Greeks and Romans thought the gods were capricious, liable to punish without reason. It is claimed that when we wrap up our Christmas presents we are following the ancient practice of those offering a sacrifice to a particular god who would cover it so the other gods would not be jealous.

The atheists today believe that the universe, including us, is the product of blind chance, that no transcendent Intelligence exists to help explain our DNA sequence, the 10,000 nerves connected to an eye, the genius of Shakespeare, Michelangelo, Beethoven and Albert Einstein.

Another option is a radical agnosticism. We don’t know and perhaps we don’t want to know. Here the agnostics can battle against fate with a Stoic dignity or turn furious, journey into the night “raging against the light”.

Easter provides the Christian answer to suffering and living. Christians are monotheists who developed from within the Jewish revelation; they too follow the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. They believe that nearly 2000 years ago a young Jew was crucified on a hilltop in Jerusalem, one Friday afternoon, despised and rejected. Everyone saw Him die, while a limited number, those with faith, saw Him after a miraculous bodily resurrection on the next Sunday. The claim is not that Jesus’ soul goes marching on. It was a return of his entire person from death, breaking the rules of health and physics, as Christians believe this young man was the only Son of God, Divine, the Messiah. Jesus’ bones will never be found. To the dismay of many, this was a Messiah who was not a great monarch like David or Solomon, but Isaiah’s suffering servant, Who redeems us, enables us to receive forgiveness and enter into a happy eternity.

“Behold the wood of the cross on which hangs the Saviour of the World.”

My generation, and those younger, are passing through a unique moment. It is not unprecedented. We were not alive for the Spanish flu pandemic after World War I, somewhat comparable so far, and we have heard of the terrible Black Death in the 14th century, where one-third of the population died in some places. What is new is our capacity to fight the disease intelligently, mitigate the spread.

The sexual abuse crisis damaged thousands of victims. From many points of view the crisis is also bad for the Catholic Church, but we have painfully cut out a moral cancer and this is good. So too, some would see COVID-19 as a bad time for those who claim to believe in a good and rational God, the Supreme Love and Intelligence, the Creator of the universe. And it is a mystery; all suffering, but especially the massive number of deaths through plagues and wars. But Christians can cope with suffering better, than the atheists can explain the beauty and happiness of life.

And many, most understand the direction we are heading when it is pointed out that the only Son of God did not have an easy run and suffered more than his share. Jesus redeemed us and we can redeem our suffering by joining it to His, and offering it to God.

I have just spent 13 months in jail for a crime I didn’t commit, one disappointment after another. I knew God was with me, but I didn’t know what He was up to, although I realised He has left all of us free. But with every blow it was a consolation to know I could offer it to God for some good purpose like turning the mass of suffering into spiritual energy.

The roots of our health services are deeply rooted in the Christian tradition of service, their continuing work of long hours and with a lively danger of infection. It wasn’t like this in pagan Rome where Christians were unique because they stayed with their sick and nursed them in times of plague. Even Galen, the best known ancient physician, fled to his country estate during the plague.

Kiko Arguello, co-founder of the Neocatechumenal Way, claims that a fundamental difference between God-fearers and secularists today is found in the approach to suffering. Too often the irreligious want to eliminate the cause of the suffering, through abortion, euthanasia, or exclude it from sight, leaving our loved ones unvisited in nursing homes. Christians see Christ in everyone who suffers — victims, the sick, the elderly — and are obliged to help.

That is part of the Easter message of the Risen Christ.

JtM Crusade Prayer meeting (in time but not in space) Holy Thursday, 9th April 2020

AM+DG

Prayer Theme: Daily prayers plus Suffering and Persecution

Bible Reading: Wisdom 6: 12-25

Book of Truth: 5th July, 2013

Please note:   This is the second week we have tried this (by zoom). Still not smooth sailing, but a crusader from N.Z join us “from across the ditch”. It was good to see him. I guess it might be a while before he can visit (physically) again! Despite the glitches, we were happy to be able to pray together in a sort of way. Sadly, we still have some who don’t have the technology buy they pray the prayers at the appointed time with us.

Reading from the Bible

Wisdom 6: 12-25

Resplendent and unfading is Wisdom, and she is readily perceived by those who love her,and found by those who seek her.
13 She hastens to make herself known to those who desire her;
14 one who watches for her at dawn will not be disappointed,
for she will be found sitting at the gate.
15 For setting your heart on her is the perfection of prudence,and whoever keeps vigil for her is quickly free from care;
16 Because she makes her rounds, seeking those worthy of her, and graciously appears to them on the way, and goes to meet them with full attention.
17 For the first step toward Wisdom is an earnest desire for discipline;
18 then, care for discipline is love of her; love means the keeping of her laws; To observe her laws is the basis for incorruptibility;
19 and incorruptibility makes one close to God;
20 thus the desire for Wisdom leads to a kingdom.
21 If, then, you find pleasure in throne and scepter, you princes of peoples, honor Wisdom, that you may reign as kings forever
22 Now what wisdom is, and how she came to be I shall proclaim; and I shall conceal no secrets from you,
But from the very beginning I shall search out and bring to light knowledge of her;I shall not diverge from the truth.
23 Neither shall I admit consuming jealousy to my company,
because that can have no fellowship with Wisdom.
24 A multitude of the wise is the safety of the world,
and a prudent king, the stability of the people;
25 so take instruction from my words, to your profit.

Reading from the Book of Truth

The One World Order is the greatest travesty against the True Triune God.

July 5, 2013 @ 2:10pm

My dearly beloved daughter, there is one religion, which causes Me the greatest suffering and that is the false religion, which idolises the beast. The One World Order is the greatest travesty against the True Triune God and those who belong to the house of Satan need so much prayer. They are deceived into believing that there is another God, who loves them. They are told that the Blessed Trinity is a falsity and that My beloved Father is evil. They do not accept that He created them and their heads are filled with so many lies that they will never open their minds to the Truth. Because of their devotion to the occult, they are embroiled in satanic forces, which have devoured their souls, which are filled with hatred, not only for God, but for all of God’s children.

They love only themselves and their lust for pleasure fills them with an insatiable longing for more. No amount of worldly pleasures will satisfy them, which is why they then crave other obscenities. They take pleasure in the taking of life and do not have any remorse in their souls, for the brutal slayings they are guilty of. Their influence spreads across the Earth in every devil followers, wealthy, business leaders, governments, royalty, media, kmedia, judiciary, the Churchnation and the devil followers mingle amongst the wealthy, business leaders, governments, royalty, organisations, including the media and law enforcement, the judiciary and the Church.

Please do not underestimate their powers. While they are in small numbers, and do not infiltrate every section of your communities, they will still do terrible damage. Not only have they sold their souls to the devil, but they will drag other innocent souls into the abyss with the beast and his demons.

I am giving all those who love Me the Graces to defeat this sinister and powerful group, who curse Me every second of the day, when you say this short Crusade Prayer.

Crusade (112) For the Grace of Salvation

Dearest Jesus, I call on You to cover the souls of those who have been infested by Satan with Your special Grace of Salvation.

Free their poor souls from the wicked captivity from which they cannot escape. Amen.

These poor souls will be the first to claim the beast as their own and they will fall flat on their faces to adore the antichrist. You must pray hard, all of you, so that the power, which Satan holds over them, can be broken and that their hearts will be opened to My Great Mercy.

Your Jesus

Jesus King of Love: “Never forsake the Cross”

AM+DG

Father forgive them, for they know not what they do.
This day you will be with Me in Paradise.
Woman, behold your Son.
My God! My God! Why have You forsaken Me?
I Thirst.
It is finished.
Father into Your hands, I commend My Spirit.

The Cross is your link to Eternal Life. Never forsake the Cross

Message 1100; 15 April 2014 @ 8:15pm

“My dearly beloved daughter, when My beloved followers celebrate Good Friday, they must remember how My Love extends to the human race. Those who persecuted Me and then killed Me were full of hatred and had hearts of stone. I died for them, despite their hatred, and I suffered a great Agony so that they could be redeemed. Still, so many people today hate and despise Me, on such a grand scale, that were I to reveal the evil, which ravages their souls, you would not be able to stand up.

My attempts to prepare the world, through the Book of Truth, will be fought by My enemies, everywhere. The worst attacks will come from satanic groups, many of whom pose as Christians, so they can vent their anger, by pretending to defend their faith. Such is the manner in which Satan uses his willing victims to attack My Work. How wretched their souls are and how sorrowful I Am, as they continue to betray Me, fling mud at Me and spread lies about My Word, in an effort to steal souls from My Merciful Heart.

I cry Tears of Agony, during this week; because the time is short and I know that no matter how hard I try, many souls will still turn their backs on Me. Why do these souls hate Me so? The answer is because they have no love for Me at all. Many of them find it terrifying that the hatred they feel for Me in their hearts cannot be washed away. They are so possessed by the evil one, that they spend every minute of their day cursing Me.

The vast majority of people no longer believe in Me – it is a small number , who do believe,  in an ocean of souls  whose magnitude stretches from one side of the Earth to the other. But, I promise you that I will gather as many souls as I can and because of the Love, which I have for you, will extend My Mercy even amongst those who do not deserve it. How I welcome the good, the loving and those pure souls, who come before Me. They fill Me with great joy. Oh how they soothe My Wounds. How they bring Me relief from the sorrow I endure for My poor sinners, who have no idea as to the great joy I promised them in My New Kingdom. So many souls will sadly throw away the key that I gave them to Eternal Life – and for what? A life devoid of meaning, a life full of titillation and empty promises. A weary life of toil, that brings no life – only that which ends in dust. I Am your life. I bring you life. When you accept My death on the Cross and acknowledge My Resurrection, you will never endure death.

To you, of this generation, I say this. You, who are with Me, will not endure death – not even death of the body. Those who betray Me, through sin, when the Truth is given to you, will have no life. So you, My beloved followers, must never be afraid of this Mission. I will take you and shower you with all the Gifts, which My Father is anxious to bestow upon all of you, as He finally gathers His children into the Kingdom He promised you when He sent Me, His only Son, to salvage your souls, by My death on the Cross. The Cross is your link to Eternal Life. Never forsake the Cross. My death was your route to Eternal Life. Without My Cross, death will prevail for those who reject it.

Your Jesus”

The Crucifixion

First Reflection

“And when they came to the place which is called Calvary, they crucified Him there.” (Luke 23:33)

Prior to the crucifixion, we can imagine the infinite beauty of Our Lord, the beauty of His physique and the luminosity of His Sacred Face, where the aesthetic principles of the universe resided. The grace of His gestures, the elegance of His bearing, the sobriety of His manners and goodness must have exerted a strong attraction. When He spoke, who could imagine the tone of His voice, its inflections and unique capacity of expression?

But when He was nailed to the cross, He was deformed, without beauty, and one massive, bloody wound. This great victim was innocence itself. He had never sinned. He was the personification of virtue. He never had the need to make up for anything, but nonetheless, did so without measure.

Why? Because of the gravity of our sins. We should feel deep sorrow and regret at the sight of Him, the Innocent One Who bore sins with the sinner. He Who was most pure, most sacred, carried them for me! This should stir us to a great trust. One who was redeemed at such a price need only ask to obtain the necessary grace to practice virtue and the good that will lead him to Heaven.

Today, Our Lord’s pains are caused by the blasphemies and scorn against the Catholic Church, as well as the worship of the idols of a pagan society: egalitarianism, sensuality, revolt, impurity, murder, theft, adultery. Which of God’s commandments are not transgressed today? What is my attitude in face of this situation?

Facing my sins and the insufficiency of my atonement, I must kneel, strike my breast, and firmly resolve to sin no more.

Second Reflection

“When Jesus therefore had seen His mother and the disciple standing whom He loved, He said to His mother: ‘Woman, behold thy son.’ After that, He said to the disciple: ‘Behold thy mother.’ And from that hour, the disciple took her to his own.” (John 19:26-27)

Saint John the Evangelist was at the foot of the cross also representing a sort of summit. His love had reached a high point. He was the “beloved” disciple.

On Holy Thursday, he had rested his head on Our Lord’s breast and heard the pulses of the Sacred Heart of Jesus then beating with love for all mankind. Later that night, just as the other apostles, he had slept and fled. However, he was the virgin Apostle, the beloved Apostle, and virgin souls, even in deplorable situations, find the means and strength to fulfill their duty.

On the other hand, God protects virgin souls. God attracts virgins to Himself. Thus, not only did Saint John have the honor of being the disciple of love, but also of being present at that summit of love when Our Lord died on the Cross. In this way he represented all the Apostles and rescued the Apostolic College from complete disgrace.

Furthermore, in this zenith of love he received the ultimate reward, because there can be no greater gift than for a person to receive Our Lady as a present. When Our Lord said, “Woman, behold your son,” and then to Saint John, “Behold your mother,” he received a priceless gift.

Third Reflection

“One of the soldiers with a spear opened His side: and immediately there came out blood and water.” (John 19:34)

Our Lord had already died when the soldier, known as Longinus, pierced His side. In this way, Our Lord’s Sacred Heart shed the last drop of blood, the last drop of water, for our salvation. What extreme mercy! What extreme goodness! What extreme compassion!

All the blood in the Body of Our Lord Jesus Christ was shed, to show that He gave us everything. He did this without holding back a single drop, because of His immense desire to save us. One drop of His blood would have sufficed to save the world, yet He shed all His blood to the point that the last drops were mixed with water. He wanted to hold back nothing in order to redeem us.

My God, how many times have I pierced the Heart of Jesus like the lance of Longinus? It could have been through grave sin; but certainly through my chronic habit of indifference, which is the reason I do not change, I do not progress nor do I want to progress. I see others progressing, but I can’t be bothered.

According to tradition, Longinus was blind in one eye. A bit of the water gushing from Our Lord’s side fell on his blind eye, which was healed, and he later became a saint. Who knows, maybe I will also receive this grace of becoming a saint. Oh Lord, at the moment of Your death, I beseech You to grant me this grace.

Fourth Reflection

“And taking Him down, he wrapped Him in fine linen, and laid Him in a sepulcher that was cut in stone, wherein no man had yet been laid.” (Luke 23:53)

Lord Jesus, I contemplate Your body taken down from the cross, Your humanity seemingly crushed, and Your infinitely precious blood shed during Your Passion. Oh, Man of sorrows, your soul and body suffered as much as a man could suffer.

As long as this world exists, You will be our model of suffering with all its nobility, strength, gravity, sweetness, and sublimity. This is a model of suffering not only considered rationally, but also from the infinite perspective of faith; a suffering understood theologically, as a necessary penance and an essential means of sanctification.

Through the infinite merits of Your Most Precious Blood, grant our minds the necessary clarity to understand the role of suffering in our lives and grant us the strength required to truly love it.

It is only by understanding the role of suffering and the mystery of the Cross that humanity can save itself from the tremendous crisis it undergoes. It is just this understanding of suffering that can save from eternal punishment those who, even at the moment of death, reject Your invitation to accompany You on the Via Dolorosa.

Multiply on Earth souls who love the Cross. This is the marvelous grace we ask of You this Holy Week in the twilight of our civilization.

The Scourging at the Pillar

“Then Pilate took Jesus, and scourged Him.” (John 19:1)

Pilate thought that, by scourging Jesus, he would satisfy the mob and so be able to set Him free. This is how the weak always think: compromise, give in to evil so as to appease it. However, this only makes things worse.

The torturers bound His hands and brought Him to the pillar amidst blows, shoves, and laughter. His meekness, goodness, and willing unwillingness to defend Himself contrasted with the brutal, senseless, and cruel hatred. Oh foolish illusion that by tying His hands He would be immobilized! It would be enough for Him to say, “Cords, loosen,” and they would fall to the ground! Had He so wished, the cords could have also become serpents to attack His evildoers.

What is extraordinary is that He gave Himself up to be scourged. We can imagine His sweet groans, His Most Holy Body writhing in pain, His adorable flesh torn by the whip. This was the flesh of the God-Man! He stood, full of dignity, meek and without protest, conversing with the Eternal Father within Himself.

We can also imagine at that moment the Son of God, Supreme Governor of all events, thinking about the blessed civilization that would one day be built on the merits of His Passion. Alas, He also saw that at a certain moment the Christian reign of satannations would turn against Him and would be dominated by an anti-civilization. Because this world would deny a personal God, it would also deny man’s personhood and individuality.

In this flattened anti-civilization, mankind would affirm total equality, thus becoming enslaved to a rebellious communist utopia. This utopia would deny property, and therefore justice; would deny the family, and therefore purity; would deny religion, and therefore all that is sacred; would deny tradition, and therefore history. By inverting all values, this anti-civilization would produce a great chaos, a great vacuum in which the former-Christian peoples would drown. This anti-civilization is the tyranny of matter, of the machine, of anonymity, and of atheism — in a word, the reign of Satan.

Our Lord could have lamented like the prophet David: “What profit is there in my death…?” (Psalm 30:9) What profit is there in my blood, which I shed so generously and so abundantly?

The Crowning With Thorns

“And the soldiers weaving a crown of thorns, put it upon His head; and they put on Him a purple garment.” (John 19:2)

Our God, crowned with thorns! Does this not prove that God’s royalty is the royalty of pain? Let us accept suffering: suffering from humiliations; suffering from injustice; suffering from the untiring effort to do good; suffering from self-denial. To take suffering out of Christianity is to insult Christ Who accepted a crown of thorns. To be Christian and to be afraid of suffering for God is to reduce God to a mere banker who satisfies our every whim, or to a simple servant who serves us at our bidding. To eliminate suffering from Christianity is to remove its backbone.

Are we only fair-weather friends? Indeed, it is not Christian to be afraid to sacrifice ourselves for Christ, our greatest Friend. Let us not commit the felony of abandoning Jesus on Calvary. Let us not strike a blow to His face, wounded for love of us, by sinning. Let us not be heartless hyenas, but rather “meek, and humble of heart” as He. (Matthew 11:29)

The Carrying of the Cross

And bearing His own cross, He went forth to that place which is called Calvary, but in Hebrew Golgotha.” (John 19:17)

Each one of us has a cross to carry. Each one of us would like to be something he is not, to have something he has not, to be able to accomplish something he cannot. We need to let go of being what we are not, having what we have not, and accomplishing what we cannot; this is the way for all of us.

May Our Lord give us a love of our cross just as He had for His. Instead of bearing the Holy Wood with disgust, our Redeemer embraced and kissed it because He was fulfilling His mission on earth. Our cross consists in fulfilling our mission. Let us embrace it tearfully, but lovingly. And let us say, “I will never cease to ask for strength, and I will thus carry my cross to the height of my Calvary!”

Our Lord bore every pain as though He were a king going to his coronation. He did this with dignity, with serenity, steadfastly, and without hesitation. Nothing was spared Him, whether physically or spiritually. He entered into the depths of suffering with the resolution of a hero, thus appearing before the justice of the Eternal Father resplendent with pain. This is how He saved the human race: with each step, the worst happened to Him, yet He accepted everything, entirely, without asking for any delay. He never asked anyone to pity Him. The suffering was such, that, at times, His strength failed, but He immediately arose and went on.

This thought helps me overcome my faintheartedness! If I wish to meet Our Lord Jesus Christ in His sublime beauty and sanctity, I must embrace my own cross, too.

To be continued tomorrow.

The Agony in the Garden

John 18:1-14 (Jesus is betrayed in the Garden)

First Reflection

“Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said to them: ‘Whom seek ye?’ They answered him: ‘Jesus of Nazareth.’ Jesus saith to them: ‘I am he.’ And Judas also, who betrayed him, stood with them. As soon therefore as he had said to them: ‘I am he; they went backward, and fell to the ground. Again therefore he asked them: ‘Whom seek ye?’ And they said, ‘Jesus of Nazareth.’ Jesus answered, ‘I have told you that I am he. If therefore you seek me, let these go their way.’” (John 18:4–8)

When Our Lord was arrested, He did two seemingly contradictory things. On the one hand, He spoke in such an authoritative voice that His listeners fell to the ground. On the other hand, He stooped to pick up Malchus’ ear, severed by Peter’s sword, and reattached it to the man’s head. He Who terrified also consoled. The same One Who speaks forcefully replaces the severed ear. Is there not some teaching here?

Our Lord is always infinitely good. He was good to those who sought Him that night as Jesus of Nazareth, and also good when replacing Malchus’ ear. If we desire to be good, we should learn to imitate Our Lord’s goodness. We should learn from Him that there are moments when it is necessary to know how to energetically hurl the enemies of the Faith to the ground, as well as to know when it is necessary to show compassion to those who want to hurt us.

Why did Our Lord say, “I AM He”? Was it only to physically shake those who wanted to arrest Him? Why do such a thing when He would, a little while later, voluntarily give Himself up? The reason is that if He spoke so loudly to the ears, it was only so He could speak even more loudly to the hearts.

We do not know if those men ultimately profited by the grace they received, but the fear they certainly felt when falling at the sound of the Master’s voice was just as valuable as when that same voice shouted, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me?”

Our Lord spoke loudly to the ears. Though they fell to the ground, the same voice that struck the bodies and deafened the ears raised the souls that were prostrate by opening the ears of the spirit that were deaf. Sometimes it is necessary to speak forcefully in order to heal.

Second Reflection

“Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it, and struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear. And the name of the servant was Malchus.” (John 18:10)

The Redeemer acted differently with Malchus. When He replaced his ear, cut off as a result of Saint Peter’s zeal, Our Lord certainly wanted to grant him a temporal good. However, by healing his ear, Our Lord wanted, above all, to open the ear of his soul. So, He Who had healed the spiritual deafness of a few with the forcefulness of His Divine voice, cured the same spiritual deafness of Malchus with words of sweetness, and a physical miracle.

We live in an epoch of terrible spiritual deafness. If there was ever a time when mankind needed to listen to God’s voice, ours is such a time; but ours is also an era that certainly has the hardest of hearts.

The Divine Master shows us that, if we want to cure our own spiritual deafness, as well as our neighbor’s, He is the only one who can do so, as mere human means are useless.

Let us be one with the blind man of the Gospel who shouted to Our Lord, “Domine, ut videam!”“Lord, that I may see!”

Let us take advantage of the celebrations of Holy Week to ask Him to help us to hear, “Domine, ut audiam!” “Lord, that I may hear!” We don’t know how Our Lord will heal our spiritual deafness—nor does it matter. Let us fulfill His Divine will whether He speak with the terrible voice of reprimand and punishment or with the sweet voice of consolations. What really matters is that we beseech Him, “Lord, that I may hear!”

Let us at least listen wholeheartedly to Our Lord’s voice and, by sincerely opening our souls to the graces He grants us, bring about within ourselves the fullness of the kingdom of Jesus Christ, which the enemies of the Church hope to banish from the face of the earth.

To be continued tomorrow.

“All these changes will come about quickly…”

Who would have thought that things could move so fast!

  • Whatever you think of this current virus – you can’t  help but notice that something is not quite right. How does the world get to the point that everywhere the world overchurches have closed (denying us the Sacraments and the Mass); governments (the world over) have us all in lockdown  or at least we  must have a valid reason to leave home; shopping practically does not exist – except to buy essentials, including food, but even so the shelves are bare – (the world over). Life is difficult. Many parents have to work from home,, schools are to all intent and purposes also closed, but still providing oodles of work for children to complete at home. Mothers are stressed – they can’t work from home (for their place of employment) and teach their children at the same time. So you have to think – there is something fishy about all this! It actually came to my mind that it feels like Communism. Our Lady at Fatima warned us about the “errors of Communism” spreading around the world. And remember that Bergoglio last year announced the “New Humanism”.

Most people are optimistic and obeying all the laws and think “Let’s just get to the end of all this”. But we are optimistic too we know Who will win this war.

But there are other things happening – timing is all in the  Hands of God. But we do have to be alert. Keeping this in mind let us consider a few things:

        • Breaking her silence: Conchita, Visionary of the Virgin Mary at Garabandal, says the Coronavirus pandemic is leading the world to the prophesied “Illumination of Conscience”.
        • The movie “Garabandal” was meant to be released in cinemas around the world at this time, but due to circumstances (cinemas closed), it is being made available to people everywhere for free during Holy Week. Please, don’t forget to watch it and share the information with all your friends    You can see it here:

The Movie – Garabandal: Only God Knows | Official Site

  • The following information is by Bro. Bugnolo of  “From Rome”

“April, 2, 2020: There are two disturbing warnings from opposite ends of the world. The first was given by Don Minutella, the famous priest of Palermo who publicly called Bergoglio out as a heretic more than 2 years ago. He said he acted on the basis of inspirations received from Our Lady. Now, over the past weekend, he publicly warned all the clergy who know that Pope Benedict XVI is the true pope, to publicly testify to the truth before Easter, April 12, when he said, there will be a momentous intervention by God’s justice….” Read the whole article and other information here:

Some excerpts from the Book of Truth:

      • My beloved Pope Benedict XVI is the last true pope on this Earth. – April 12th, 2012
      • “They plan to replace the Holy Vicar, Pope Benedict XVI, with a dictator of lies. He will create a new church in league with the antichrist and his group, in order to deceive the world. – January 18th, 2012
      • One half will believe, out of duty, the need to follow the false prophet, the pope who will follow Pope Benedict XVI. – April 10th, 2012
      • They, My daughter, are being sent to prepare God’s children to accept the next pope, who comes after My beloved Vicar, Pope Benedict. This pope may be elected by members within the Catholic Church, but he will be the false prophet. His electors are wolves in sheep’s clothing and are members of the secret Masonic and evil group led by Satan. This is how Satan will try to destroy My Church. Sadly, he will, this false prophet, attract a large following. Those who oppose him will be persecuted. – April 12th, 2012

      • Be assured that it will be the Catholic Church, founded by Me and placed under the command of My beloved apostle, Peter, which will suffer the greatest in the end times“. – April 12th, 2012

      • “…The speed at which this will happen will astonish My followers. The plan is being carefully managed. The campaign, to convert the hostility of Christians into the acceptance of secular laws, is being professionally masterminded. …Be warned. Do not accept lies. Do not become involved with the plan to desecrate My Holy Name. Your Jesus – King and Redeemer of all of mankind.” October 9th, 2012

      • The number of churches which will close down, will be seen in all western countries. Soon the mark of communism will be seen by a special sign which will appear in churches which remain open; in the media; on items of clothing; in movies and this sign will be proudly worn by those in high places. It will be seen as a badge of honour and flaunted by members of the hierarchies in all main churches and religious denominations. You will see this symbol in public places; on altars; in airports and on the garments worn by leaders in the churches. This sign, not to be confused with the Mark of the Beast, will be to symbolise the new One World Religion. Those responsible for it will no longer be fearful of displaying their sign, which is a symbol for control and allegiance to the beast. The day the daily Sacrifice of the Masses are stopped, in the format which they must be offered in My Holy Name, will be the day when this symbol appears on the altars and before all the tabernacles in the world.” April 17th, 2013

      • “Oh how you will all be deceived and how the Truth will be covered up, hidden and then ignored. All these changes will come about quickly, in the future, and the spread of these things will astonish many. Amidst it all, there will be confusion, fear, sadness and great distress. My Church will become so fragmented that all trust within its walls will be broken. This will create a great fear and then, in a manner which will not seem clear at first, the Catholic Church will become a leading force in the new one world religion. This new abomination will declare a great love for the world’s poor and hungry. But it will not preach My Word, nor will it remain true to My Church. My Church, however, will continue to live.”November 1st, 2013″

      • “Remember, children, God the Eternal Father wants to protect you all. His patience has finally run out. He will, up to the very last minute, accept those who turn to Him for forgiveness. However, He now has to stop those evil regimes from the horror they inflict on the rest of His Creation. It is because of the love of His children He does this….Remember, children, to see the signs all around you, the multitude of wars, lack of money, lack of food, lack of healthcare and accept that this is the work of the evil one. It is not the work of God the Eternal Father. He will no longer accept this behaviour. Be thankful He is taking action, for if He did not His Creation would be destroyed. And He will not allow that to happen.” Your beloved Jesus, Saviour of Mankind, Redeemer of the World. 8th July, 2011

      • The time since My Crucifixion on earth has been painful for humanity because of the reign of Satan who has ruled the earth during this period. The pact with Satan is almost over and two events must soon take place. The redemption of the human race will occur during The Warning. From then onwards people, including those who are ignorant of the existence of God, will embrace the Truth. Others who will respond slowly to this great miracle, when the proof will be presented to them, will convert in time. They too will seek forgiveness for their sinful lives.”July 26th, 2012

Holy Week – Our Lord’s Passion

AM+DG

What will happen this week?

Some horrific acts have been perpetrated by Bergoglio in Holy Week in the past. (see example below)

I guess not having any public ceremonies and all churches being closed is enough of a slap in the face to Jesus. This year we could not even welcome him on Palm Sunday. This year, we do not have Blessed Palms (Sacramentals) to put into our homes. This year there is no recognition of Him as King (no Hosannas) and also no recognition of Him as our Saviour who died on the Cross for our Salvation. – we can’t go to our churches to join with our fellow Christians to pray as one at this most Holy time. We can’t join public displays of the Way of the Cross -as occurs in some places.

(A little deviation – but relevant)

Even the Passion Play at Oberammergau had to be postponed till 2022!  It began in 1634 and was performed many, many times. But since 1680, this play has been ongoing every ten years   and sometimes, extra performances during these ten year intervals. It has never been interrupted.

It began because of a vow made by the inhabitants of the village that if God spared them from the effects of the bubonic plague then sweeping the region, they would perform a passion play every ten years. Read about the history of this play at: https://www.passionsspiele-oberammergau.de/en/play/history

There are no Hosannas, but the world seems to be crying out “crucify Him” over and over.

On 4th April, 2020 Robert Ritchie of America Needs Fatima wrote:

“At every reading of the Passion on Palm Sunday – we as a Church cry out “Crucify Him! Crucify Him!”
Now more than ever, humanity has earned the right to play that part.
Turning our backs on our traditions, embracing every new-fangled “interpretation” of morals, allowing the culture to “tickle our ears” with its “live-and-let-live” philosophy…we are crucifying Him anew.”

In fact, it seems there is a big effort afoot to just forget Him –to wipe Jesus, His Teachings and the events of Holy Week from our memories. Jorge Bergoglio doesn’t even want to be recognized as “pope”. This is a good thing – because he isn’t. So it puts all those past blasphemies and heresies in a new light. For anyone who ever doubted, he is indeed the “False Prophet” of Revelation.

Let us review the insults of Bergoglio in Holy Week of 2018:

If you watch Pentin’s video at https://twitter.com/EdwardPentin/status/979843084895838209  you will see that Bergoglio does not kiss the feet of Jesus in the Good Friday ceremony – as directed in 1962 Missal –  “… devoutly kiss the feet of the Crucified” – he kissed Him on the cheek (just like Judas the betrayer did).

The night before, on Holy Thursday, Bergoglio washed the feet of 12 prisoners at the historic Regina Coeli prison in Rome.

As we know, the washing of the feet is to remind us of the first Holy Thursday, where Jesus washed the feet of his 12 apostles – i.e. the first bishops of the Christ’s Church.

Why then, would Pope Francis include two Moslems and a Buddhist?

The Missal instructs the priest to wash the foot and dry it with a cloth.

Bergoglio not only washes the feet, but kisses them.

Jesus message on March 29, 2013, (just after Bergoglio was elected) Good Friday:

“My dearly beloved daughter when Judas Iscariot betrayed Me, he held My Head and kissed me on the cheek. When those who lead My Church say they love Me, and then betray Me, you will see, clearly, their kiss of betrayal.

Not at My Feet will they fall.  It will not be My Feet they kiss, but those of My servants, My followers, My sinners….

...Humanism is not Christianity. To be Christian means surrendering all to Me, abandoning yourself in full humility at My Feet. It means allowing Me to guide you. It means obedience to My Laws and doing all that you can to show the example of My Love for you all.Today I was betrayed….”  (Book of Truth: March 29, 2013 @ 7:00pm; Message # 3 on Good Friday)

Sadly this prophecy came true 3 years later

The true Faithful in Holy Week:

Pope Benedict XVI has begun a Good Friday service at the Vatican by kneeling in silent prayer Vatican Good Friday

The true faithful, together with our true Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI, ( who according to Canon Law, has not resigned the ”munos” of the papacy) continue to pray this Holy Week for our Church, Pope Benedict and the good bishops and Cardinals, and make lots of reparation to Our Lord’s Sacred Heart for all the blasphemies and heresies against Him and His Mother.

Robert Ritchie concludes:

And like Simon of Cyrene, let us help Him carry the cross…. Just a little…. Can you imagine the look Jesus gave that fortunate man!?
And with the good thief let us repeat, “Remember me, oh Lord, when come into Your kingdom.”.
The hope of the Beatific Vision is far more precious than anything this culture has to offer.
With our eyes on this Prize may we continue to shout our Hosannas on this Palm Sunday and forever after.”

For Crusaders – a reminder that in Holy Week we should pray CP 43:

“My dearly beloved daughter, there is a period between now and The Warning, which I want My followers to understand.

Your intense prayers are needed to save souls, who are beyond helping themselves. Many of these souls will not survive The Warning, so it is important that they and all others, who are all in a state of mortal sin, are saved by Divine Intervention.

Your prayer, begging for the salvation of their souls, is needed now. This must be your priority, now, during Holy Week, for when you ask My beloved Father, in My Holy Name, to save such sinners; your prayers will be answered.

Crusade Prayer (43) Save souls during The Warning

O God, the Almighty Father, on behalf of Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, and in commemoration of His death on the Cross to save us from our sins, I beg You to save souls who cannot save themselves and who may die in mortal sin during The Warning.

In atonement for the sufferings of Your beloved Son, I urge You to forgive those who are unable to seek redemption, because they will not live long enough to ask Jesus, Your Son, for Mercy to free them from sin. Amen.

Pray for all sinners. My greatest wish is to save all of humanity. Only through the prayers of intercession can those souls in the dark be saved.

Your beloved Jesus Christ” (Book of Truth 3 April 2012 @ 8:00pm)

In conclusion:

This Holy week, let us pray and fast

and stay alert to any new blasphemies, mockeries.

Spiritual Communion- receiving Graces when we are otherwise deprived

AM+DG

During these times, it is more important that we receive all the Graces we can, especially when we are being deprived of the Mass and the Sacraments.

An article (written for today) speaks about Saints down through the ages have recommended this simple practice.:

https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/how-to-make-a-spiritual-communion-when-mass-is-banned-because-of-coronavirus

What is a Spiritual Communion?

Spiritual Communion according to Str Thomas Aquinas, consists in “an ardent desire to receive our Lord Jesus Christ in the Most Holy Sacrament”.

It is performed by making an act of faith in the presence of Jesus Christ in the Blesed Sacrament, and then an act of love, and an act of contrition for having offended Him. The souls then invite Him to come and unite Himself to her and make her entirely His own; and lastly, she thanks Him as if she had really received Him sacramentally.

One day Our Lord Himself told St Jane of the Cross that as often as she communicated spiritually, she received a grace similar to that which she received from her Sacramental Communions. He also appeared to Sr Paula Maresca, foundress of the Convent of St Catherine of Siena at Naples, with two vessels, one of gold and the other of silver, and told her that in the golden vessel He preserves her Sacramental Communions and in the silver vessel her spiritual Communions. The Fathers of the Church go so far as to say that one who has a very great desire for Communion, accompanied  with great reverence and humility, may sometimes receive even more graces than another who, without these dispositions, should actually receive Our Lord in the Sacramental species, for as the  Psalmist says: “The Lord hears the desire of the poor, and fills their hearts with good things.”(From “The Blessed Sacrament” by Fr. Michael Muler, C.S.S.R.()

An Act of Spiritual Communion

by St Alphonsus Liguori)

My Jesus,
I believe that Thou art truly present  in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar
I love Thee above all things,
and I desire to receive Thee into my soul.
Since I cannot now receive thee sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace thee as if Thou wert already there
and unite myself wholly to Thee.
Never permit me to be separated from Thee.
Amen.

Prayer for making a Spiritual Communion:

“At Thy feet, O my Jesus, I prostrate myself, and I offer Thee the repentance of my contrite heart, which is humbled in its nothingness and in Thy holy presence. I adore Thee in the Sacrament of Thy love, the ineffable Eucharist. I desire to receive Thee into the poor dwelling that my heart offers Thee. While waiting for the happiness of sacramental Communion, I wish to possess Thee in spirit. Come to me, O my Jesus, since I, for my part, am coming to Thee! May thy love embrace my whole being in life and in death. I believe in Thee, I hope in Thee, I love Thee. Amen”

Prayers of the Angel of Fatima:

“My God, I believe, I adore, I hope, and I love Thee! I ask pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope and do not love Thee. Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the Most Precious Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges, and indifference by which He is offended. And through the infinite merit of His Most Sacred Heart, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of Thee the conversion of poor sinners. Amen.”

The Universal Prayer (attributed to Pope Clement XI)

Lord, I believe in you: increase my faith. I trust in you: strengthen my trust. I love you: let me love you more and more. I am sorry for my sins: deepen my sorrow. I worship you as my first beginning, I long for you as my last end, I praise you as my constant helper, and call on you as my loving protector.

Guide me by your wisdom, correct me with your justice, comfort me with your mercy, protect me with your power. I offer you, Lord, my thoughts: to be fixed on you; my words: to have you for their theme; my actions: to reflect my love for you; my sufferings: to be endured for your greater glory. I want to do what you ask of me: In the way you ask, for as long as you ask, because you ask it. Lord, enlighten my understanding, strengthen my will, purify my heart, and make me holy. Help me to repent of my past sins and to resist temptation in the future. Help me to rise above my human weaknesses and to grow stronger as a Christian.

Let me love you, my Lord and my God, and see myself as I really am: a pilgrim in this world, a Christian called to respect and love all whose lives I touch, those under my authority, my friends and my enemies. Help me to conquer anger with gentleness, greed by generosity, apathy by fervor. Help me to forget myself and reach out toward others. Make me prudent in planning, courageous in taking risks. Make me patient in suffering, unassuming in prosperity.

Keep me, Lord, attentive at prayer, temperate in food and drink, diligent in my work, firm in my good intentions. Let my conscience be clear, my conduct without fault, my speech blameless, my life well-ordered. Put me on guard against my human weaknesses. Let me cherish your love for me,

Keep your law, and come at last to your salvation. Teach me to realize that this world is passing, that my true future is the happiness of heaven, that life on earth is short, and the life to come eternal. Help me to prepare for death with a proper fear of judgment, but a greater trust in your goodness. Lead me safely through death to the endless joy of heaven. Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
