Mary Queen Of The Angels Leads The Fight Against Demons And The Powers Of Hell.

Feast Day: August 2nd.

An article in’ Family Life International Australia Ltd’ (August 2015) laments society’s “descent into the abyss”. It explains that we cannot fight this fight on our own. Following is a story that explains why we must ask our Blessed Mother, under the title of “Queen of the Angels” to ask her help in fighting these demons.

The story:

“In 1863 a Bernardine Sister was shown in spirit the vast desolation caused by the Devil throughout the world. At the same time, she heard the Blessed Virgin telling her it was true, Hell had been let loose upon the earth, and that the time had come to pray to her as Queen of Angels and to ask of her the assistance of the Heavenly Legions to fight against these deadly foes of God and men.

“But, my good Mother,” she replied, “you who are so kind, could you not send them without our asking

“No,” Our Lady answered, “because prayer is one of the conditions required by God Himself for obtaining favors.”

Then the Blessed Virgin communicated the following prayer, bidding her to have it printed and distribute it everywhere.

The Prayer:

August Queen of Heaven, sovereign Mistress of the Angels, who didst receive from the beginning the mission and the power to crush the Serpent’s head, we beseech thee to send thy holy Angels, that under thy command and by thy power, they may pursue the evil spirits, encounter them on every side, resist their bold attacks, and drive them hence into the abyss of woe.

Most holy Mother, send thy Angels to defend us and to drive the cruel enemy from us. All ye holy Angels and Archangels help and defend us. “

This prayer has a partial indulgence attached to it.

(Bishop Fulton Sheen): “How shall we overcome the Spirit of Satan except by the power of that woman to whom Almighty God has given the mandate to crush the head of the serpent.”

(St. Bonaventure): “Oh, how fearful is Mary to the Devils!”

There has been no time of greater need in History than today . As Family Life International tells us – “Let us storm heaven with our prayers, so that the holy Angels will surround us as we continue the battle.”

Divine Mercy Sacred HeartWatch this Space…

Some of our prayer group members have gone overseas on a pilgrimage. We are hoping to receive beautiful photos and stories from them, which I will share as soon as they are received. And we are fully expecting miracles too! I thought I would share one of the things for which we are praying, with faith.

Jesus said: “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?” (John 11:40)

There are other stories behind this, such as why we are praying to the Sacred Heart of Jesus for the healing of my young sister, E, of severe, crippling rheumatoid arthritis. Of course, we are always praying for many things daily: foremost is the salvation of souls for Our Lord! This is just one specific request made out of Love to our Beloved Saviour. Here is the email request my mum sent out:

Dear E,

I want you to start saying this prayer Thursday 25th June for 3 novenas 21 days.

I will say it too. We will finish just a few days after I return.

The last novena will be a thanksgiving novena.

I will ask Our Lady, (while at the pilgrimage site) and St. Padre Pio for your healing.

Jesus always hears our prayers. You know that.

His timing is always right.

Say it with Faith, Hope and Love. EVERY DAY.

I will be saying the prayer below in the third person.

Say all the prayers below each day.

And remember it is the month of the SACRED HEART which loves you very much!!!

Prayer for healing:

Heavenly Father, I call on You right now in a special way.

It is through your power that I was created.

Every breath I take, every morning I wake up

and every moment of every hour, I live under your power.

Father, I ask you now to touch me with that same power.

For if You created me from nothing, You can certainly recreate me.

Fill me with the healing power of your Spirit.

Cast out anything that should not be in me.

Mend what is broken. Root out any unproductive cells.

Open any blocked arteries or veins

and re build any damaged areas.

Remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection.

Let the warmth of your healing love pass through my body

to make new any unhealthy areas

so that my body will function the way You created it to function.

And Father, restore me to full health in mind and body

so that I may serve You the rest of my life.

I ask this through the intercession of Mother Mary, Health of the sick

and your Son Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus:

O Most Holy Heart of Jesus,

Fountain of every blessing, I adore Thee

and with a  lively sorrow for my sins;

I offer Thee this poor heart of mine.

Make me humble, patient, pure

and wholly obedient to Thy Will.

Grant, good Jesus, that I may live in Thee and for Thee.

Protect me in the midst of danger;

comfort me in my afflictions;

give me health of body, assistance in my temporal needs,

Thy blessing on all that I do, and the grace of a holy death.

Within Thy Heart I place my every care.

In every need let me come to Thee with humble trust

Saying ,’Heart of Jesus help me’.

Invocations to the Sacred Heart:

Merciful Jesus, I consecrate myself today and always to Thy Most Sacred Heart.

Most sacred Heart of Jesus, I implore, that I may love thee more and more.

Most sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust in Thee.

Most sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I believe in Thy love for me.

Jesus, Meek and humble of heart, make my heart like unto Thine.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, Thy Kingdom Come.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, convert sinners, save the dying,

deliver the Holy Souls from Purgatory.
