Sadly, Jesus talks about the persecution of Christians and religious beliefs in general in quite a few messages given since the beginning of the revealing of the contents of The Book of Truth in 2010. We were warned that the persecution of Christians would continue and increase and that this is part of the Chastisement allowed by God. It is not always physical, it is more frequently spiritual and ideological.
The Book of Revelations in the Bible also makes it clear that there would be many martyrs. Here is a message given by Jesus from early on (April 26th, 2011) about the persecutions that were going to continue. Only part of the message foretold is relevant at this point and so extracts have been posted.
I thought it was particularly appropriate having just experienced the massacre of Christians and tourists in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday. Also, keep in mind all those who have already suffered and been murdered in the last few years, especially in the Arab world – I am sure we all remember those visions of Christians being decapitated a few years ago. But there have been many Christians attacked and murdered in Africa too- and many without the world being alerted as to what has happened.
April 26th, 2011.
My dearly beloved daughter, the tears I shed for all My beloved, tortured children in the world, who are the victims of violence and abuse are never-ending. My poor, precious children are suffering everywhere, all over the world and especially in the Arab world.
How I agonize over their suffering, those poor, helpless souls. Please pray for them, My daughter, by offering up your own suffering for them.
The atrocities being committed in the Arab world, will sadly, continue, as more Arab nations will be embroiled in a series of conflicts. The time for the first of the assassinations I spoke to you about last February will take place shortly. The Arab World uprising will spark unrest indirectly in every corner of the world.
Italy will be instrumental in the fallout which will trigger the involvement of global powers in a war – all these events are inevitable, but prayer can ease suffering.
Pray, My daughter, that people will turn to Me and ask Me for help and guidance through these times of turmoil.I do not want to see My children suffer. But suffer they will, until the Truth is revealed during The Warning. Pray now for those misguided dictators who kill innocent souls.
I call on My sacred servants around the world to accept that the prophecies predicted in the Book of Revelation are now unfolding. Spread the Truth of My Teachings and save your flock before time runs out.
Go now. Do your duty to Me. I call on those of you who have watered-down My Teachings to stop now. Look into your hearts and tell My people the Truth that they cannot, and will not, be saved until they seek forgiveness for their sins.
They must humble themselves in My Eyes and ask Me to give them the Gift of Redemption.
You, My sacred servants, must now play the role for which you were chosen. Be brave. Preach the Truth.

The organization ‘Open Doors’ seeks to identify the civil wars taking place and create watch lists of the areas in which Christians are most at risk as well as support them in their Christian Faith. They estimate that “245 million Christians are persecuted for their faith in the top 50 countries where it’s most dangerous to follow Jesus” using various ways. It is also mentioned in one of their stories that the civil war broke out in Syria in 2011 with the initial, armed insurgency beginning in July 2011.This message was given at the end of April, 2011. And so it continued and flared in many countries.
Eight years later, on Easter Sunday 2019, as most people are aware, over 300 Christians were killed in deliberate attacks on 3 churches and hotels in Sri Lanka.
In Nigeria, on Palm Sunday, April 14th, over a dozen Christians were gunned down mercilessly by Muslim Fulani militants after an infant dedication ceremony in the Nigerian state of Nasarawa. Many terrorist attacks have also occurred around the globe in countries not directly involved in the conflict, over the past 8 years, making us all feel insecure and fearful of the Muslim extremist uprisings occurring; a campaign of terror. These ideological attacks come in many forms . In relation to the attack in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday, Christians were referred to as “easter-worshippers”. This shocked me! This phrase has undertones of paganism. It is mocking and demeaning – it cuts through to the heart, mind and soul! But then again, we must be proud to remember that we are travelling in Christ’s footsteps. To be His follower, we must also be ready to be persecuted, mocked and betrayed, as He was.
A map at a site on terrorism shows the sharp increase in terror attacks (as a subtype of persecution only) between 2011 and 2014, from 8246 fatalities worldwide to 44.490 worldwide. The increase in persecution of Christians in all forms (not just by Muslim extremists and often through elite ruling groups and factions of the left) in all countries has increased to unprecedented levels. They are passing many laws which severely restrict, undermine or take away religious freedom and even freedom of conscience, and restrict or silence dissenting views and free speech on social media.
One of the other prophecies given about the persecution of Christianity, also gives us hope– as Jesus reminds us of what the future will (eventually) hold:

Never before, since My Crucifixion, has Christianity endured such persecution
My dearly beloved daughter, My Tears flow in great torrents at this time as the Holy Word of God is being torn asunder.
Love for Me, Jesus Christ, has dissipated and the spirit of My Church is drying up so that, soon, it will become but just a desert. It will be bereft of life and only the true faithful among My Church will keep the Heart of My Love beating steadily, while everything else, which surrounds it, will become dehydrated with every ounce of life sucked from it. Never before, since My Crucifixion, has Christianity endured such persecution because of contempt against the Word of God.
All that is held sacred in My Father’s Heavenly Kingdom is being decimated by man, whose heart no longer feels love for his Creator God the Most High. Those who remain faithful to Him, and who love and cherish Him, will feel His Pain within their hearts like a sword, which pierces and inflicts terrible suffering but which will not kill. For those with true love for God will be unable to separate from Him because they are attached to Him by an umbilical cord, which cannot be severed.
God, through His Mercy, will destroy His enemies who try to steal the souls of those whose names are contained in the Book of Life. My Time is almost upon you.
Never give up hope, or despair, when you witness the work of My nemesis and the speed by which his cunning wicked ways are accepted by unsuspecting souls. I Am first most a God of Great Patience and My Mercy will be poured over the human race in abundance amidst the flames of My Love. These flames will instil a renewal of faith in Me by those who have fallen away from Me, just as they will destroy Satan and every demon and fallen angel who hold hostage those souls who belong to Me,but who have separated from Me.
My Time will come, but not before the world will see the signs foretold in the Book of Revelation and the Book of Truth. Do not fear Me. Prepare for Me. Reject the false promises made by My enemies. Remain true, always, to My Word. My enemies will have no part in My Kingdom. My beloved faithful, including those who call out to Me, during the Warning, will never die. For theirs is the New Kingdom – My Kingdom – the One promised to Me, the Messiah, the King for all time – a world without end.
This may be a time of confusion, division, sadness and a longing for those who represent Me on this earth to proclaim the Truth. But know this. I Am the Truth. The Truth never dies. My Kingdom is eternal and you, My beloved children, belong to Me. Come. Stay close to Me. I will lead you to your rightful inheritance. Trust in Me. Listen to Me through these Messages – the Book of Truth. It is God’s Gift to you so that you will never forget My Promise to come again to judge the living – those alive on this earth as well as those who died in My Favour.
I will show signs of every kind all over the world now. Those who are blessed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit, will know they have been sent to you by the Command of My beloved Father.
Go in Peace. Listen to Me only through these messages at this time.
I love you all dearly and I have claimed you as Mine. Let no man attempt to steal one single soul from Me, for he will suffer eternal torment for his actions.Your Jesus
Lastly, we have been given important prayers – very specific ones – for protection, to mitigate the murder of innocents, and for peace for nations:
The first is The Seal of The Living God which is specifically to protect people who accept it- especially in times of war and persecution; for daily physical and spiritual protection. Spread this prayer to all friends and relatives especially in war-torn countries and pray it for them. Tell them to keep a copy of the prayer always on them. (The Seal is mentioned in the Book of Revelation’ 7:2-3 where the angel carries it and then puts the seal on the elect and again in Revelation: 20:4)

We ask, that in His mercy, He will remove the threat of genocide, persecution and terror against God’s children, in every form. Please, we implore you, dear Mother of Salvation, to hear our cries for love, unity and peace in this sorrowful world. We ask that Jesus Christ, the Son of man, will protect all of us during these times of great pain and suffering on earth. Amen.”

I ask that you recite this Crusade Prayer, the Prayer of Peace each and every day for your nations.
O Jesus, bring me peace. Bring peace to my nation and all those countries torn asunder because of war and division. Sow the seeds of peace amongst those hardened hearts who cause suffering to others in the name of justice.
Give all of God’s children the graces to receive your peace so that love and harmony can thrive, so that love for God will triumph over evil, and that souls can be saved from the corruption of falsities, cruelty and evil ambition. Amen.
Stay awake to what is happening! Watch out for the signs! Stand firm to retain the Faith of Christians on earth.
Jesus, we trust in You!!!
