When you are down, at the end of your tether, exhausted – run to to Jesus. He is waiting for us. Many Catholics have experienced the miracle of calm and peace that comes when we spend time in Adoration of our Beloved Lord. Many churches now have devotions  – First Friday, Benediction – at various times. But many churches are also open during the day.  We don’t want to be caught sleeping. “Could you not keep watch one hour with Me?”

Abundant love at adoration makes you stronger and calmer

My beloved daughter, the graces received by My children at the Eucharistic Adoration are powerful. They not only give you the graces to cope with life’s suffering, they make you stronger in your love for Me, your devoted and loyal Saviour.

The love that is poured out over souls during the Adoration is given in abundance. The soul feels this flood of My graces in so many different ways. The first Gift is one of peace in your soul. You will feel this instantly after you have completed your time in close union with Me.

So many, many of My children are denying themselves the many Gifts I have to offer at Adoration, where you spend one hour of your time before My Presence on the altar. While Catholics are aware of the Power of the Eucharist many do not acknowledge the importance of this most important time with Me in contemplation. They simply ignore this Gift. It bores them to have to spend this extra time with Me.

Oh, if only you knew how strong this would make them. Their fears and worries would be dissipated were they to just keep Me company in quiet intimate reflection. If My children could see the Light that envelops their souls during this special Holy Hour, they would be astonished.

Children, it is during this hour that you become very, very close to Me. This is where your voice, your pleas, your pledges of love for Me, will be heard. Many wonderful graces are given to you, children, at this time, so please do not ignore My pleas to spend this time in My company.

The rewards will make you free of worry, light of heart, mind and soul, and calmer in yourself. When you receive Me during the Eucharist I will fill your soul. But when you come to Me in Adoration I will envelop you to such an extent, that the floodgates of My Merciful Love will saturate your mind, body and soul. You will feel a strength, which will yield a quiet confidence that you will find difficult to ignore.

Come to Me, children, now.

Don’t give up, Australia! Keep Praying!!

We have a reprieve, The Bill (for homosexual marriage) has not been passed yet.

We are all emailing our M.P’s. The ACl (Australian Christian Lobby) has joined the fight.

The good news is that the Australian Bishops have issued a joint statement proclaiming the traditional Catholic doctrine and teaching about marriage.

Of course – it’s all over the media, with documentary shows getting in on the act with a discussion forum.

Our Holy Hour last week was successful!

We had a lot of people praying jointly before the exposed Blessed Sacrament. The prayers were as one voice.

We did it again today.

About the same number, but a few more faces.

You can organize a holy hour in your parish.

We had exposition of the Bl. Sacrament, and prayers such as: Chaplet of Divine Mercy, Rosary, Litany of Precious Blood, prayers to Mary Help of Christians, Hymns and finishing with Benediction. We found a great prayer on the back of a holy card which was called “Crusade of Prayer for the protection of Australia as a Christian Nation”. It was written by Archbishop Little of Melbourne way back in 1974. It had am Imprimatur. How appropriate and prophetic!

Prayer before Blessed Sacrament:
“O most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners.”

Lord, You place deep in our hearts the love of Mary, Help of Christians. Through her prayers grant wisdom to our leaders and integrity to our citizens. Under her protection may Australia be granted harmony, justice and peace.
