Urgent Prayer Needed for Australia

30th May, 2015

We were all shocked at the news from Ireland- that this could happen so suddenly!

Within days, our Leader of the opposition, Bill Shorten, announced that he would introduce a Private Members’ Bill into Parliament regarding same-sex marriage rights.

We sprung into action and organised a Holy Hour of prayer to pray that this does not happen.

If you are not Australian, don’t relax – your country could be next.

The only answer is prayer and action.

Please pray an avalanche of prayer for Australia till at least the Tuesday evening announcement.

Beg God to change all the minds of these MPs so that they do not allow this bill for homosexual marriage, to get past the lower house.

Offer whatever you can to uphold the Holy Will of God and His Most Holy Word. Pray the prayer below throughout the day and the Holy Rosary and Chaplet of Mercy. Fast, pray, hold prayer vigils. Offer God whatever you are able.

God loves these souls (practising homosexuality) and does not want them to be bound or condoned in their sin. Their souls matter just as much as our own.

This is spiritual warfare so please assist your fellow soldiers in the fight for Christianity and for souls, with your finest spiritual weapons! You know what they are.

O God the Almighty Father, in the Name of Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, have Mercy on all your children in Australia and New Zealand.

Forgive us our rejection of Your Holy Word.

Forgive us for the sin of indifference.

Rid us of our pagan culture and cover us with the Graces to inspire hope, faith and charity, amongst our brothers and sisters.

We beg you for the Gift of Discernment
and ask that you grant all of us the blessings we need
to ensure that only the Truth of Your Holy Word can be heard

so that all souls are granted the keys to eternal life.

Thank you for joining for this Crusade for Truth! Please send this invitation to as many people as you know.

Mary, Help of Christians, Patroness of Australia

Feast Day May 24th

FEAST DAY:   May 24th

Prayer for Australia:

Lord, you place deep in our hearts the love of Mary, Help of Christians.

Through her prayers grant wisdom to our leaders and integrity to our citizens.

Under her protection, may Australia be granted harmony, justice and peace.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer for the Safety of Australia as a Christian Nation                 (Imprimatur 1975 Archbishop of Melbourne T.F. Little)

Almighty God,

We Thy people cry out in our affliction.

Do not scorn us but for the glory of Thy name come to our rescue.

Look mercifully upon us in our tribulation, and,

though we have justly deserved punishment, turn away Thy wrath.

Through Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

Mary, Help of Christians,

bring succour and peace to Australia.

Prayers to the Patron Saints of our site

Our patron saints are:

St Joseph – Protector of Holy Church;

St Michael – Defender of the Faith

and St Padre Pio – Saint of our times, who suffered the wounds of Christ, who worked endlessly for the salvation of souls and who was endowed with many charisms and gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Prayer to St Joseph (Prayer of Pope Leo XIII)

To thee, O blessed Joseph, do we have recourse in our tribulation,

and having implored the help of thy thrice holy Spouse,

we confidently invoke thy patronage also.

By that charity wherewith thou wast united to the Immaculate Virgin Mother of God,

and by that fatherly affection with which thou didst embrace the Child Jesus,

we beseech thee and we humbly pray, that thou wouldst look graciously

upon the inheritance which Jesus Christ hath purchased by His Blood,

and assist us in our needs by thy power and strength.

Most watchful guardian of the Holy family, protect the chosen people of Jesus Christ;

keep far from us, most loving father, all blight of error and corruption:

mercifully assist us from heaven, most mighty defender,

in this our conflict with the powers of darkness;

and, even as of old thou didst rescue the Child Jesus from the supreme peril of his life,

so now defend God’s Holy church from the snares of the enemy and from all adversity;

keep as one and all under thy continual protection,

that we may be supported by thine example and thine assistance,

may be enabled to lead a holy life, die a happy death

and come at last to the possession of everlasting blessedness in heaven.

Prayer To Saint Michael: (Prayer of Pope Leo XIII )

St. Michael the Archangel,

defend us in the hour of battle;

Be our safeguard against the wickedness

and snares of the Devil.

May God restrain Him, we humbly pray,

and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host,

by the power of God,

cast into Hell, Satan and all the other evil spirits,

who roam through the world,

seeking the ruin of souls.

Prayer to St. Pio of Pietrelcina

Dear God, You generously blessed Your servant,

St. Pio of Pietrelcina,

with the gifts of the Spirit.

You marked his body with the five wounds

of Christ Crucified, as a powerful witness

to the saving Passion and Death of Your Son.

Endowed with the gift of discernment,

St. Pio laboured endlessly in the confessional

for the salvation of souls.

With reverence and intense devotion

in the celebration of Mass,

he invited countless men and women

to a greater union with Jesus Christ

in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist.

Through the intercession of St. Pio of Pietrelcina,

I confidently beseech You to grant me

the grace of perseverance, discernment and courage.

I ask this through Christ our Lord.

Traditional Prayers: Part 2

that the holy Catholic Church believes and teaches.
I believe these truths O Lord,
because You have revealed them to her.
In this faith I am resolved to live and die. Amen.

Act of Hope
O my God, relying on Thy promises,
I hope that, through the merits of Jesus Christ,
you will grant me pardon of my sins,
and the graces necessary to serve you in this life
and to obtain eternal happiness in the next. Amen.

Act of Charity
O my God, I love you with my whole heart
and above all things,
Because You are infinitely good and perfect,
And I love my neighbor as myself for love of You.
Grant that I may love You more and more in this life,
and in the next for all eternity. Amen.

Short Act of Contrition
O my God, I am sorry that I have sinned against You,
because You are so good,
and with the help of your grace, I will not sin again. Amen

Long Act of Contrition
O my God, I am sorry and beg pardon for all my sins,
And detest them above all things,
Because they deserve Thy dreadful punishments,
Because they have crucified my loving Saviour
Jesus Christ, and, most of all,
Because they offend Thine infinite goodness;
And I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace,
never to offend Thee again,
and carefully to avoid the occasions of sin. Amen

Simple Acts of Faith, Hope and Charity.
Jesus, I believe in you.
Jesus, I trust in you.
Jesus, I love you.

The Angelus, (to be said morning, noon and eve.)

The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary.
R. And she conceived by the Holy Ghost.
Hail, Mary…
V. Behold the handmaid of the Lord.
R. Be it done unto me according to Thy word.
Hail, Mary…
V. And The Word Was Made Flesh.
R. And dwelt amongst us.
Hail, Mary…
V. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
R. That we be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray:
Pour forth we beseech thee O Lord
Thy grace into our hearts,
through we to whom the incarnation of Christ Thy Son
was made known by the message of an angel,
may, by HIs passion and Cross,
be brought to the glory of His Resurrection.
Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen

The Salve Regina (Hail Holy Queen)

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy.
Hail our life, our sweetness and our hope!
To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve,
to thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious advocate,
Thine eyes of mercy towards us,
and after this, our exile,
show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!
V. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

The Memorare

Remember, O most loving Virgin Mary,
that never was it known in any age
that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help or sought thy intercession,
was abandoned.
Inspired with confidence, therefore,
I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother;
to thee do I come, before thee I stand,
sinful and sorrowful.
Do not, O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise my prayers,
but graciously hear and grant them. Amen.

The Confiteor

I confess to Almighty God,
to the blessed Mary, ever Virgin,
to blessed Michael the Archangel,
to blessed John the Baptist,
to the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul,
and to all the Saints,
that I have sinned exceedingly in thought, word and deed,
through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault.
Therefore I beseech blessed Mary, ever Virgin,
blessed Michael the Archangel,
blessed John the Baptist,
the holy Apostles Peter and Paul,
and all the Saints, to pray to the Lord our God for me.
May the Almighty God have mercy on me,
and forgive me my sins, and bring me to everlasting life. Amen.

The Magnificat
My soul magnifies the Lord
My spirit rejoices in God, my Saviour.
He looks on His servant in her lowliness,
Henceforth, all ages will call me blessed.
The Almighty has done great things for me.
Holy is His Name.
His mercy is from age to age on those who fear Him.
He puts forth His arm in strength and scatters the proud-hearted.
He casts the mighty from their thrones, and raises the lowly.
The hungry He has filled with good things, the rich sent empty away.
He protects Israel, His servant,
remembering his mercy,
The mercy promised to our fathers,
To Abraham and his sons forever.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. Amen.
