Padre Pio (1887-1968)

Almost sixty years ago, Padre Pio first met Father Luigi Villa, whom he entreated to devote his entire life to fight Ecclesiastical Freemasonry. Padre Pio told Father Villa that Our Lord had designs upon him and had chosen him to be educated and trained to fight Freemasonry within the Church. The Saint spelled out this task in three meetings with Father Villa, which took place in the last fifteen years of life of Padre Pio. At the close of the second meeting [second half of 1963], Padre Pio embraced Father Villa three times, saying to him:

‘Be brave, now…for the Church has already been invaded by Freemasonry!’ and then stated: ‘Freemasonry has already made it into the loafers (shoes) of the Pope!’ At the time, the reigning “Pope” was Paul VI and of course a Freemason, according to the 1917 Code of Canon Law, cannot be a Catholic as you are automatically excommunicated. “Persons joining associations of the Masonic sect or any others of the same kind which plot against the Church and legitimate civil authorities contract, ipso facto, excommunication simply reserved to the Apostolic See”-Canon Law 2335. St. Antony of Egypt (251-356)

“Men will surrender to the spirit of the age. They will say that if they had lived in our day, faith would be simple and easy. But in their day, they will say, things are complex; the Church must be brought up to date and made meaningful to the day’s problems. When the Church and the World are one, then those days are at hand. Because our Divine Master placed a barrier between His things and the things of the world.”
“A time is coming when men will go mad, and when they see someone who is not mad, they will attack him, saying: ‘You are mad; you are not like us.'”

St. Athanasius (296-373)

St. Athanasius (A.D. 296 – A.D. 2 May 373), known as the “Father of Orthodoxy,” was Bishop of Alexandria at the height of the power of the Arians who denied the two natures of Christ (i.e., they denied His Divinity). The Arians gained great influence in the Church, their power becoming so vast that the majority of Bishops could be described as Arian. He was excommunicated by Pope Liberius, driven from his see by a heretic usurper and spent his life in and out of exile.

St. Athanasius, to whom it was objected, “You have the bishops against you,” answered with Faith: “that proves that they are all against the Church. If the world goes against the truth, then Athanasius goes against the world.”Athanasius contra mundum

“God has promised to be like a wall of fire round those who rightly believe in Him.”

“Catholics who remain faithful to Tradition even if they are reduced to but a handful, they are the True Church of Jesus Christ.”

“May God console you!...What saddens you…is the fact that others have occupied the churches by violence, while during this time you are on the outside. It is a fact that they have the premises, but you have the Apostolic Faith. They can occupy our churches, but they are outside the true Faith. You remain outside the places of worship, but the Faith dwells within you. Let us consider: What is more important, the place or the Faith? The true Faith, obviously. Who has lost and who has won in this struggle? The one who keeps the premises or the one who keeps the Faith?”

St. Ambrose (340-397)

“Even heretics appear to possess Christ, for none of them denies the name of Christ. Still, anyone who does not confess everything that pertains to Christ does in fact deny Christ.”

St. John Chrysostom (347-407)

“What excuse shall he have, what mercy can be hoped for, who corrupts the adorable and ineffable dogmas of our faith?”

St. Columba (521-597)

“Hearken, hearken to what will happen in the latter days of the world! There will be great wars; unjust laws will be enacted; the Church will be despoiled of her property; people will read and write a great deal; but charity and humility will be laughed to scorn, and the common people will believe in false ideas.”

St. Vincent of Lérins (†445)

“When a foulness invades the whole Church . . . We must return to the Church of the past.”

He also stated in 490 AD: “In the Catholic Church herself every care must be taken that we may hold fast to that which has been believed everywhere, always, and by all. For this is truly and properly Catholic.”

“All novelty in faith is a sure mark of heresy. St. Paul cried out aloud, again and again, to all men to all times, and to all places that, if anyone announces a new dogma, let him be anathematized!”

St. Dominic (1170-1221)

Blessed Virgin Mary to Saint Dominic, “One Day through the Rosary and Scapular I will save the World”–  Our Lady would confirm this warning at Fatima (1917) by appearing as Our Lady of the Rosary and ending these apparitions as Our Lady of Mt. Carmel wearing the brown habit of the Carmelites and holding the Brown Scapular.

St. Catherine of Siena (1347-1380)

“We’ve had enough of exhortations to be silent! Cry out with a hundred thousand tongues. I see that the world is rotten because of silence.”

 

St. Vincent Ferrer (1350-1419)

“Armies from the West, East, and North will fight together in Italy, and the Eagle shall capture the false king, and all things shall be made obedient unto him, and there shall be a new reformation in the world.”

” In the days of peace that are to come after the desolation of revolutions and wars, before the end of the world Christians will become so lax in their religion that they will refuse the sacrament of Confirmation, saying that it is unnecessary. And when the false prophet, the precursor of Antichrist, comes, all who are not confirmed will apostatize, while those who are confirmed will stand fast in their faith, and only a few will renounce Christ.”

St. Robert Bellarmine (1542-1621)

“A pope who is a manifest heretic automatically (per se) ceases to be pope and head, just as he ceases automatically to be a Christian and a member of the Church. Wherefore, he can be judged and punished by the Church. This is the teaching of the ancient Fathers who teach that manifest heretics immediately lose all jurisdiction.”, De Romano Pontifice, II.30 [citing passages from Cyprian, Driedonus, and Melchoir Cano in support of his position]

“And we ourselves experience this, that when we enter ornate and clean Basilicas, adorned with crosses, sacred images, altars, and burning lamps, we most easily conceive devotion. St. Peter Canisius (1521-1597)

“Better that only a few Catholics should be left, staunch and sincere in their religion, than that they should, remaining many, desire as it were, to be in collusion with the Church’s enemies and in conformity with the open foes of our faith.”

St. Nicholas von Flue (1417-1487)

“The Church will be punished because the majority of Her members, high and low, will become so perverted. The Church will sink deeper and deeper until She will at last seem to be extinguished, and the succession of Peter and the other Apostles to have expired. But, after this, She will be victoriously exalted in the sight of all doubters.”

St. Thomas More (1478-1535)

“To adhere to a false Bishop of Rome is to be out of communion with the Church.”
