OUR LADY of FATIMA and the Russian Connection

PART 3 of the series of Fatima Centenary talks in 2017

A Day With Our Lady of Fatima, Saturday 19 August 2017OUR LADY of FATIMA and the Russian Connection

Exactly one hundred years ago today, three young shepherds in Portugal were tending their flocks in a place called Valinhos. It was a Sunday evening in 1917 and the children had just emerged from a traumatic three days in prison. Without warning there came a flash of light and the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to them.

For Lucy and her two cousins Jacinta and Francisco this was an unexpected visit. They had missed their August rendezvous with Our Lady. As in the previous months of May June and July it was designated for the 13th day of the month.

Word had spread like wildfire across Europe. Thousands of pilgrims had flooded into Portugal for the intended August 13th apparition. But the Masons who governed the country were determined to put a stop the religious hysteria. On the very day the apparition was due to occur, the Administrator of the local council had abducted the three little shepherds. He imprisoned them, subjected them to exhausting interrogations and even threatened to throw them into a cauldron of boiling oil – all in an attempt to make them admit they were lying and had invented stories. Paradoxically, he also wanted them to reveal the secrets that the Blessed Virgin had given to them in July!

Response of the children to imprisonment and death threats:

Despite their treatment these young children, aged between eight and eleven, resisted the bullying. They clung to the truth; refused to disclose the secrets confided by Heaven. For 72 hours they resisted, to heroic degrees, fortified I’m sure by their experiences with the Blessed Mother. When their lives were threatened, according to the memoirs of Sister Lucy, little Jacinta’s face lit up with joy. “How wonderful!” she cried, “I so love Our Lord and Our Lady and this way we’ll be seeing them very soon!”

This was the response of a nine year old girl to death threats. This tells us how real, how totally absorbing, how profound had been the effect of the Heavenly Mother’s visits over the past few months.

During her appearance on that Sunday evening of August 19th, Our Lady had looked very sad. She encouraged once again the daily praying the Rosary every day, and reaffirmed the ongoing visits on the 13th of each month. Her final words were: “Pray! Pray very much, and make sacrifices for sinners, for many souls go to hell because they have no-one to sacrifice themselves and to pray for them.”

Pope Benedict – Fatima is not over:

Often, when speaking of Fatima, there can be one of three responses from those who are not convinced of the importance or authenticity of the 1917 revelations. They will shrug and quickly brush it aside: “Oh yes, it’s a nice little story, prayer and penance and the rosary. Of course, it happened back in history before our scientifically advanced age.”  There’s a tendency, even among Vatican officials, to consign Fatima to the past.

Thankfully Pope Benedict refuted all these dismissive comments when he was at Fatima on May 13th 2010. Whoever thinks the prophetic mission of Fatima is over,” he said, “is deceived!” He spoke of the increasing relevance of the Fatima message for our times, and the approaching Triumph of the Immaculate Heart.

Fatima – only private revelation?

The second response to Fatima is another pet phrase: “it is just private revelation”.

Here I will quote well-known Fatima author, lecturer and crusader, Christopher Ferrara: “No,” he writes, “the Fatima event is no mere private revelation. It is a public, prophetic revelation. First of all, the Catholic Church has officially declared, through the local bishop of Fatima and a series of popes, that these apparitions constitute an authentic supernatural event and that the message of Fatima is worthy of belief (….) As well as the accuracy of the prophecies and the testimony of a series of great popes, a MIRACLE was foretold three months in advance (….)

Miracle foretold in advance:

Our Lady promised she would obtain this miracle at precisely the date and time predicted – twelve noon, solar time, October 13th – so that “ALL would see and believe”. In the entire history of the Church, or indeed of the world, the Miracle of the Sun is the only miracle announced in advance, which a vast crowd had assembled to witness.

You can read the full text of Christopher Ferrara’s comments for yourself in this new booklet just released by the Fatima Centre. There are copies here for you to take home.

Is Fatima alarmist?

The third reaction to Fatima, especially when the prophetic element is highlighted, is that promoters of the message are being “alarmist”. But we need to be alarmed, don’t we?

We need to be awoken from our Kiwi complacency. The innocent children of Fatima were alarmed. The vision of multitudes of people falling into hell, alarmed them greatly. It also spurred them into action, to greater prayer and sacrifice for sinners. Little Saint Francisco’s mission became one of consoling God who is saddened by the loss of souls.

Spiritual weapons – prayer and sacrifice – more relevant today:

Could it be that the spiritual weaponry of prayer and sacrifice, which Our Lady of Fatima begged for, is more necessary now than back in 1917? The brutality of the First World War pales beside the suffering, the atrocities and military arsenal we see in Syria and more and more places today – along with the escalating development of nuclear missiles being readied for use. Of course, this is not to diminish the horror of World War One but simply to put it in perspective with the technological proficiency of 21st century warfare. In her last public interview of 1957, Sister Lucy told Father Augustin Fuentes, that Russia was to be the “instrument of chastisement” chosen by God to punish the world for its sins. “Tell them, Father,” she said, “that the Most Holy Virgin told my cousins Francisco and Jacinta, as well as myself, that many nations will disappear from the face of the earth.”

Could it be that our future security, in a world so currently insecure, may hinge upon re-reading the simple requests of Fatima and following them faithfully?

Our Lady’s conditions for peace:

These requests are MORE than simply praying the Rosary every day. The conditions Our Lady outlined for obtaining peace were first and fore-mostly for people to turn back to God. That’s the call of the Gospel – for genuine, honest repentance and conversion of heart.

And to repeat her words at Fatima on August 19th, Many souls go to hell because they have no-one to sacrifice themselves and pray for them.” Do we imagine this situation has improved since then? Sadly, a century later, the word “sacrifice” is slowly vanishing from our everyday Catholic vocabulary, its meaning almost lost.

Apart from making sacrifices, probably the best definition of “offering sacrifices” is this: “To accept with a loving heart the disagreeable things which God’s Providence has allowed in our day…”

So, Our Lady asks for sacrifice and prayer to save many souls from eternal damnation. Prayer of reparation for the sins of the world is another vital element of Fatima’s message; and the devoted practice of the Five First  Saturdays of Communion to make repair for the five insults against Mary’s Immaculate Heart. And yes, the daily rosary, investment in the Brown Scapular… these are essentials of whole-hearted devotion to the Immaculate Heart.

Cardinal calls for Consecration of Russia:

Cardinal Raymond Burke made the news recently, calling for a renewal of the consecration of Russia to Mary’s Immaculate Heart. Not consecration of the world this time, but Russia alone, specifically named. Up until now this actual naming has been prevented by political sensitivity and an agreement between Rome and Moscow during the Second Vatican Council.

Russia’s Errors:

But why Russia? That’s a question often posed. I mean, Russia is just another nation, isn’t it?  – no worse than any other, surely?

“Russia’s errors” which Our Lady spoke about are much MORE than just the spread of Communism. Communism is, after all, simply a political force, an imposed systematic atheism. But this is the end product of a whole distorted mode of thinking.

The errors which fuelled Communism and emerged in Russia from 1917 were, primarily, caused by rejection of God and His existence. This opened the way to absolute materialism. While materialism is commonly believed to be a love of material goods, that’s only one aspect. Materialism is a denial of the supernatural and spiritual realm with sole focus on the physical world. Once God’s Word and God’s Laws are abandoned we see greater errors spawned: the substitution of Divine Creation with Darwin’s theory of evolution – a theory now taught as absolute fact – the upsurge of divorce, abortion, dismantling of the family unit – which is the basic cell of social order – the denigration and objectivising of women, motherhood and home secondary to the work-force, manipulated by economic pressure and feminist ideology.

Abortion was legalized in Russia in the 1920s. It took another fifty years for this and other errors to be absorbed into western culture.

By the 1970s divorce and abortion had gained legal status. Next: legalized prostitution, same-sex marriage, the current gender ideology and so on. Now we are facing the normalizing and acceptance of euthanasia, one of the very facets of the Nazi culture which the West once fought a war against!

Probably the two main pillars of false teaching which have infected human thinking like a cancer this last century, arose earlier in the 19th century: Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto in 1848, a blueprint for a global utopian society, dispensing with God and Kings, and in 1859 Charles Darwin’s Origin of the Species. Only weeks after Fatima’s Miracle of the Sun, the fruits of these false teachings became evident in the Bolshevik revolution which plunged Holy Mother Russia into a bloodbath.

Lenin and Stalin:

Two of the cruelest dictators of the new regime had both lost their faith after embracing Darwin’s pseudo-scientific doctrine of evolution. Vladimir Lenin had been a devout believer. His successor, Joseph Stalin, a brilliant seminarian, stopped studying for the priesthood, and in the name of evolutionary progress and a Marxist utopia, he and Lenin purged the Soviet Union of an estimated sixty million of their own countrymen.

When Russia eventually exported its manifesto to China so Communism could govern one third of the earth’s surface, it was not the teachings of Marx, Lenin or Mao Tse Tong which were preached in compulsory seminars but evolution – simply because it could be used to remove people’s faith in God, in the soul, and in the after-life, so Communism could then take root.

Disinformation- Russia’s devious propaganda tool:

In 2013 a hugely insightful and vastly-documented book was published unmasking the inner workings of the Kremlin. The title of the book is Disinformation, the name given to Russia’s devious propaganda tool, and the co-author is an ex-Soviet spy who defected to America in the late 1970s with a multi-million-dollar bounty on his head. Lieutenant General Ion Pacepa was the right-hand man of Ceausescu (Chow-oo-shes-cu), the Romanian tyrant who was toppled in 1988. Ion Pacepa’s first book, The Red Horizon, was instrumental in bringing this dictatorship to an end.

During his career as an intelligence man for Romania and the Soviet empire, Ion Pacepa was involved in KGB strategies, primarily aimed at destroying the public’s perception of the Church and its credibility. Right from Day One, Russian communism has fundamentally been an all-out effort to rid the world of Christianity, mistakenly seen as an offshoot of Capitalism. Its attack has taken three forms: (1) to discredit the Church (2) to undermine the faith of its people, (3) to distort and dilute doctrine. One of its most brilliant concepts, says Ion Pacepa, was something called Liberation Theology.

Liberation Theology was concocted by the KGB to make Marxism appear to be compatible with Christianity. It was fed into the World Council of Churches; then disseminated in South America, which Russia saw as fertile soil for revolution. Ex-Jesuit Malachi Martin tells us in his monumental expose, The Jesuits, that many in this order poisoned South American Catholics with this teaching. As a result thousands of priests and lay people were killed NOT as martyrs for the Gospel but as socialist revolutionaries, pawns in the fight to overthrow Capitalism and establish Communist rule.

Both Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI sternly denounced Liberation Theology. Meanwhile Columbia, Bolivia, Venezeula, Nicaragua, Argentina, all expelled the US from their embassies and rely nowadays upon Russian naval defense. Didn’t Our Lady foretell that Russia would foment wars and revolution?

Ion Pacepa reveals in Disinformation that he rubbed shoulders not only with Kruschev, his supreme boss, commonly known as “the butcher of the Ukraine”, but also Mikhail Gorbachev. He makes clear that Glasnost and Peretroika of the late 1980s was a clever disinformation programme to convince the West they could relax because the Soviet Union had transformed into a modern democracy, no longer a totalitarian state. In fact, the Russian word “glasnost” actually means “polishing one’s image”.  Today, under the reign of Vladimir Putin, Marxist power continues to flourish. Putin, a self-styled Stalinist who reveres his cruel predecessor, has filled his government with six thousand ex-KGB men like himself and crushes and eliminates any opposition.

Make no mistake, Ion Pacepa assures us, Communism is still alive and well in Russia and seeking world domination together with China.

Our Blessed Mother in recent reliable apparitions and messages has said the same. Communism is everywhere, She says, even in My Son’s Church, and you do not recognize it. We need to pray for discernment.

So did the story of Fatima conclude in 1917? Or with the last major apparition of 1929 when Russia’s consecration was requested? Did it conclude in 1938 when the Great Sign predicted at Fatima took place? On the evening of January 25th that year the sky was illuminated by the most spectacular and unearthly colours. All of Europe was in panic. Many believed the lights heralded apocalyptic events, even the end of the world. Scientists smiled and labeled the event as an Aurora Beouralis. Much later they admitted it wasn’t the case, the lights were of an unknown source. Sister Lucy from her convent in Coimbra confirmed that this was the prophesied sign that a second and more terrible war was about to begin. Six weeks later Hitler marched into Austria.

Hiroshima Miracle:

In 1945 the message of Fatima was connected to an extraordinary miracle. When the atomic bomb fell on Hiroshima it obliterated everything for several kilometres – except for one church. It was right near the blinding centre of the nuclear flash, ground zero. Inside were eight members of a small Jesuit community performing their usual daily Fatima devotions and praying the Rosary. Unbelievably, all of them survived, untouched by radiation. Scientists have never been able to offer any explanation. At Nagasaki there was a similar miracle. The Franciscan Friary established by St Maximilian Kolbe was also totally unharmed.

The Fatima effect continues:

After the Second World War, Austria became subject to Soviet tyranny when the allies left. A Rosary Crusade was organized by a Father Petrus who won the support of seven hundred thousand Austrians pledging a daily rosary. On May 13th 1955, the anniversary of Fatima, the occupying Russians withdrew. With Austria a strategically-located war prize, the Russians’ evacuation made no sense. To this day historians are baffled by the pull-out.

Fatima secret not disclosed – new apparitions of Our Lady:

Moving along to 1960: when  the sealed secret of Fatima was opened as Our Blessed Mother instructed, and the contents not disclosed, within 12 months She began appearing further north on the Iberian Peninsula. From 1961 to 65, an unprecedented number of apparitions and supernatural events unfolded in a tiny remote Spanish village called Garabandal. Appearing as Our lady of Mt Carmel as she had in the final Fatima vision of 1917, Immaculate Mary warned of a decline in faith and less importance being given to the Blessed sacrament. Garabandal remains under Church investigation but it is extremely interesting that Our Lady expressed there great concern for the priesthood, and repeatedly stressed the holy and sacred character of matrimony. These two areas, priests and marriage, have been the target of the enemy since 1965.

In 1973 in a little lay convent in Akita, Japan, Sister Agnes Sasagawa was visited by the Mother of God in a series of mystical events culminating with an intensive message of warning on October 13th, anniversary of Fatima’s miracle of the sun. The diocesan bishop recognized the authenticity of these interventions and Pope Benedict, as Cardinal Ratzinger, confirmed that the message of Akita was “essentially the same message as Fatima” and the then-unknown Third Secret which he had sighted.

A year earlier, 1972, at the actual apparition site of Fatima, an Italian priest, Father Stefano Gobi received the first of his locutions which would lead to the establishment of a worldwide Movement of Marian Priests, a work which Our Lady herself initiated. More than 600 messages followed, heralding an apocalyptic time and the Church’s greatest trial. These locutions ended in 1997 and Fr Gobi passed to his eternal reward in 2004.

Another Fatima anniversary, 13th May 1981, the Holy Father St John Paul Two, was hospitalized after a near assassination attempt. As he was carried from St Peter’s Square, the pope was heard calling to the Madonna to come to his aid. Less than six weeks later she began appearing just across the Adriatic Sea in a small village deep in the heart of the Communist stronghold of Yugoslavia: Medjugorje. An explosion of the Spirit was sparked, which led to millions of pilgrims from all parts of the world experiencing miraculous healings, conversions, and signs and wonders, including the sun spinning in the sky.

St John Paul Two said Medjugorje was the heart of the spiritual world; several weeks ago the Church finally gave its approval to the initial events at Medjugorje; and Sister Lucy who was privileged with private visions of Our Lady up until her death in 2005, stated categorically that Medjugorje, where Mary appears as the Queen of Peace, is the continuation and the completion of Fatima. 36 years later, to this very day, Medjugorje still radiates an atmosphere of heaven come to earth.

So yes, the Fatima revelations continue, prophecies being fulfilled right under our very noses. “Pray very much,” Our Lady said to Sister Agnes at Akita, “I alone am able still to save you from the calamities that approach. Those who place their confidence in Me will be saved.”

And at Fatima, “In the end My Immaculate Heart WILL triumph!”

Sister Lucy reported in her memoirs that Saint Jacinta once told her:

“Do not be afraid to tell everyone about devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. God has entrusted the peace of the world to her.”

A Day With Our Lady of Fatima, 13th May 2017

FATIMA AND OUR LADY OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT:

Sign of hope and alert to danger

Today, the 13th of May, is a date that resonates with heavenly significance; it’s a date of singular importance in the recent history and future of the world.

One hundred years ago today, only seventeen years into the twentieth century, a terrible war was raging in Europe and a world-changing revolution was brewing in Russia…

And, in a remote little Portuguese hamlet, events of a spiritual kind were beginning to unfold. These events would culminate in a pre-announced Miracle to be witnessed by seventy thousand people: a public miracle unprecedented since Biblical times.

1.The sun plunged towards the earth and performed astonishing, almost-unbelievable gymnastics in the sky for fifteen long minutes, flooding the area of Fatima and 30 kilometres radius with a spectacular light show.

Photos still exist to this day of this phenomenal occasion.

So… a century ago, this very day, it all began.

But why the 13th of May? Why did Heaven reach down to three little shepherd children on this particular date?

Well, May, of course, has always been traditionally the special month for honouring the Mother of Christ. And while Jesus had selected twelve close followers to become the apostles of His newly-formed Church, there was always a 13th disciple quietly present in the background: His Blessed Mother Mary. She was that 13th disciple who had loved Him long before she’d even bore Him in Her womb.

There is a foreshadowing of Fatima, too, in the Old Testament and the 13th day of the month was central to that story as well. It features another Jewish maiden 2,400 years ago called Esther. When the ruling Persians of that time decreed that the Jewish race would be exterminated on the 13th of the month, Esther as Queen bravely interceded with the King to save God’s people.  The success of her intercession is still celebrated today among Jews everywhere with the holiday of Purim. And it is believed that the mysterious star which features on the gown of Our Lady of Fatima alludes to the biblical tale of Esther as the name “Esther” means literally “star”. There are so many parallels that the Fathers of the Church have conceded that Esther prefigures the role of Mary, Queen of Heaven, in our own times. We will come back to this a little later on.

Apart from all these speculative aspects about May 13ththis day used to be celebrated as the Feast of Our Lady of the Holy Eucharist… or, as it was known back in 1917, the Feast of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament. See, the Blessed Sacrament is an intrinsic part of the message of Fatima:

It would appear that the Divine but hidden presence of Christ our God in the Tabernacles of our churches and in Holy Communion was already being disregarded, neglected and abused by careless or deliberate sacrilege a century ago.

In the year before Our Lady’s appearance at Fatima, the three shepherd children Lucy, Jacinta and Francisco, age six, eight and ten, were being prepared for her visit by a special angelic emissary. The angel of peace, the Guardian of Portugal, later identified as St Michael, was schooling them in perfect postures of prayer, kneeling with the forehead touching the ground as they prayed: “Jesus I adore you in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar.”

On his second visit the Angel gave Holy Communion to Lucy and the Precious Blood from a Chalice to Jacinta and Francisco“Take and drink the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ,” he said, “horribly outraged by ungrateful men!”  He instructed them about the importance of making sacrifices and reparation for sins so as to console God.

And he taught them two prayers addressed to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

The first was to be repeated three times: “Oh my God, I believe in You, I adore You, I trust in You and I love You. I beg pardon for all those who do not believe, who do not adore, who do not trust and do not love You.

The second prayer is more telling in its implications. Kneeling prostrate before the consecrated Host and the Chalice which remained suspended in mid-air, the Angel showed them to pray:

“Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the Most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the Tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference with which He is offended. By the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I ask of Thee the conversion of poor sinners.”

Outrages, sacrileges, indifference: these three offenses directly target God Himself, and they are not peculiar to one hundred years ago.

Let’s look at these three specific offenses.

The first, Indifference:

Numerous visions, messages and locutions from Jesus and Mary reported in our own times often make reference to “indifference”. A prayer dictated to a modern seer includes the plea, “Forgive us for the sin of indifference.” Another similarly prescribed prayer from heaven says, “Show mercy and forgiveness for those souls who hurt Jesus with their indifference.”

In recently-published Fatima booklet called Jacinta’s Tears the author wrote, “Consider if you went to a lot of trouble to get a magnificent present for someone, putting your whole heart into it and going to great length to show your love for that person. If he or she took the gift as if it were nothing and didn’t even bother to thank you, I think you would feel very saddened and offended (….)  By sending His Angel at Fatima God is telling us a little bit of how He feels, offended by our indifferences” – being taken for granted, ignored in many instances.

In the famous Church-approved visions of the Sacred Heart to St Margaret Mary over three hundred years ago, Jesus told her that He is more offended by the lukewarm-ness of His friends than by the outrages of His enemies.  Aren’t we the same – more susceptible to being hurt by those we love than by those who hate us? And that’s simply because, with those we love, we have opened our hearts to them. So… far worse, then, than the general indifference of the world is what Jesus experiences from Catholics who are indifferent to His Presence in the “Divine Sacrament of Love”.

At Fatima, the Mother of Jesus taught the children a short prayer of adoration: “Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the altar!”

The second offense requiring reparation is Outrages:

Historically, since Fatima, the outrages against Christ and His Body the Church have multiplied and intensified. There have been more martyrs in the last 100 years than in the first three centuries of persecution under the Roman Empire. From 1917 onwards, wherever Marxist revolution has takencontrol, the atrocities are incalculable – Russia, Spain, Eastern Europe, China, South America, Africa – endless places worldwide. And without fail, the Church has always become the avowed “enemy of the state”.  There was an incident in the Spanish Civil War of 1936 where a rebel solider coldly and deliberately fired a bullet through an exposed consecrated Host in a Church.

Today, the outrages are less dramatic perhaps, but they surface on all sides as the world distances itself more and more from religion and belief in God, to take up the banner of anti-Christian Marxist principles. Several weeks ago, on International Women’s Day, radical feminists attempted to set fire to the Cathedral of Buenos Aires. In our own liberal culture we hear of dubious works of “art” publicly displayed which boldly blaspheme God and the Virgin Mary. The name of Jesus Christ, used as a curse, has become part of our social vocabulary, in everyday life and in the cinema and theatre.

A movie just released in Atlanta, Georgia, portrays our Blessed Lady as a lesbian and ridicules her Virgin Birth. Gone are any boundaries, any sensitivity for what Christians hold holy; nothing any longer is sacred, all in the name of freedom of expression.

In France, 1843, a Carmellite sister, Sister Marie of Saint-Pierre (or St Peter) was given messages from Our Lord which enjoy the full approval of the Church. Marianologists say that these revelations, along with those of La Salette in 1846, form the foundation to the Fatima visitations of 1917.

Jesus told Sister Marie de St Peter, “My Name is blasphemed everywhere!” He made her understand that this frightful sin, more than any other, grievously wounds His Heart. With blasphemy the sinner curses Him to His Face, He said, attacking Him openly. “The earth is covered in crimes,” He went on, “The Holy name of God is blasphemed and the Holy Day of the Lord is profaned. At no time have these crimes reached such a pitch!”

Sister Marie de St Pierre begged Jesus to provide some confirmation of her revelations, and three years later her prayer was answered. Our Lady appeared at La Salette in France where she was seen weeping and distraught. Her tears, she said, were for “the utter contempt for God’s commandments, particularly the terrible crime of blasphemy and the profaning of the Lord’s Day. These two sins,” she explained, “break the second and third commandments.”

Jesus told Sister Marie de Saint-Peter, “The Jews crucified me on Friday, but Christians crucify me on Sunday.”

These words were spoken to a more God-fearing age 170 years ago, but aren’t they still applicable today – probably even more-so?  In the last thirty years in (… country named) Sunday trading, which we’ve all been guilty of enjoying, has contributed to the desecration of Sunday. And now, the authorities are looking at removing the shopping ban on Easter Sunday, the holiest of Sundays.

We know from various visionary sources that the taking of unborn life, the violation of the sanctuary of the womb, is an outrage in God’s eyes which invokes His justice – especially when the legalization of abortion has come from governments of nations that once were Christian. From the moment abortion was made lawful in the 1970s images of Our Lady worldwide began to weep tears of blood. Now, forty years and millions of abortions later, this so-called service has become accepted, institutionalized, even considered a human right. Our Lady spoke of the “errors of Russia”. Abortion is one of these errors, legalized in Russia in 1920.

At Fatima our Blessed Mother asked for the five First Saturdays to be kept as days of reparation for FIVE particular offenses and outrages. These are

(1) the mocking of her Perpetual Virginity;

(2) insults to her Divine Maternity;

(3) scorning her Immaculate Conception;

(4) the disrespect shown to her images and statues,

(5) the teaching of children by Christians that she, the pure vessel created by God to bring His Son into the world, was a sinner like everyone else.

Moving on to the third area of offense highlighted at Fatima, Sacrileges:

Seven years ago today our previous Holy Father Pope Benedict gave a papal address to 500,000 pilgrims at Fatima which pointed out an uncomfortable fact: “Today,” he said, “we see in the most horrifying way, that the greatest persecution against the Church does not come from its enemies outside, but from the sins within; and that the Church has therefore a great need to re-learn penance. . .”

In the United States, from surveys conducted within the Church, Catholic journalist Michael Voris has brought to light some disturbing facts, and I quote: “One of the most central beliefs of the Catholic Church, the Real Presence that is, Jesus Christ present, really, truly, and substantially Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity under the appearance of bread and wine is believed by only half of all Catholics. Sixty per cent of American Catholics have succumbed to the culture of death and believe the Church is wrong on abortion. Over half of them believe individuals have the final say as to whether sex outside marriage is okay, not the Church. This is the Church established by the Son of God who will judge us on our deeds.”

This survey could well reflect a similar picture in most western countries, including our own, where a more relaxed, liberal spirit has come to exist.

Those who have seen the changes in the Church over the last few decades would agree that lack of respect and reverence is prevalent among us; this is aligned to the gradual erosion of devotion to the Real Presence; and a growing belief that sin is no longer a reality, just a human weakness that doesn’t really call for repentance or confession.  I was recently talking to an elderly woman, a Catholic convert of thirty years, who told me she has never once been to Confession – she didn’t see any need! This is someone who, sadly, has never been instructed sufficiently in the faith.  According to the American survey, a large percentage of the faithful are living in sinful situations and receiving Holy Communion; even seeing it as their “right”.

In a recent message to a holy soul in Argentina, the Blessed Virgin Mary is reported saying, “Woe to those who receive My Son improperly without repentance! They choose their eternal condemnation! Woe to those who commit sacrileges! Woe to those who mock the divine! They will know the pains of hell.” Strong words – but Our Lady is, after all, a loving mother who cares about our welfare and is firm in teaching the Christian essentials.

There’s another kind of sacrilege we need to be aware of, too. In our increasingly de-Christianized world, Black Masses are on the upsurge. Despite the deterrent of locked Tabernacles in our churches nowadays, the stealing of consecrated Hosts poses no problem to Satanists. With the trend of Communion in the hand more common in the last fifty years, we have actually made it easier for them to acquire Hosts to desecrate. An ex-Satanist high priest, now a fervent Catholic convert, revealed to us last year during his address here that (…city named) boasts the greatest number of satanic covens of all our (...country named) cities.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

In the closing vision of Fatima, 13th October 1917, after the Miracle of the Sun, the Virgin Mary came dressed in the religious habit of the Carmelites. This is an interesting final note. Apart from the fact that the visionary Lucy would eventually join the order of Mt Carmel, this could have established a link to a new series of apparitions that may well be a continuation of Fatima.

Is it just coincidence that in 1961, twelve months after the sealed envelope of Fatima’s Third Secret was opened and its contents kept secret, the Blessed Mother began appearing in earnest as Our Lady of Mt Carmel at another remote Catholic village, further north of Fatima in Spain? The amazing events at Garabandal lasted four long years and are still under investigation by the Church.

However, two urgent and major messages emerged from Garabandal.

The first spoke of the prime necessities of Catholic life, already mentioned at Fatima: “We must make many sacrifices… perform much penance… and …visit the Blessed Sacrament frequently…” The second message, given in 1965, said, Less and less importance is being given to the Eucharist. You should turn the wrath of God away from yourselves by your efforts…”

The Blessed Sacrament!Once again the focus! And this was emphasized by what became known as “the Little Miracle of Garabandal”. As at Fatima, the miracle was pre-announced, in this case fifteen days beforehand, and it occurred on the night of the patronal feast of the village.

While young visionary Conchita was being given invisible Holy Communion by an Angel, the Sacred Host became visible on her tongue. This event was witnessed by many onlookers and was captured on film.

Father Anthony Mary Prendergast of the Community of St John here in (…city named) published a wonderful little booklet two years ago on the Holy Eucharist. I’m lifting from there some inspirational quotes from four of the greatest saints in the Church’s history:

St John Chrysostom says, “When the Mass is celebrated, the sanctuary is filled with countless angels, including the Guardian Angel of each person present, all reverently worshipping their Lord and God.”

In the revelations of St Bridget, we read: “One day when I was assisting at the Holy Sacrifice, I saw an immense number of Holy Angels descend and gather around the altar, contemplating the priest. They sang heavenly canticles that ravished my heart. Heaven itself seemed to be contemplating the great sacrifice. And yet we poor, blind and miserable creatures assist at Mass with so little love, relish and respect! Oh, if God would open our eyes, what wonders should we not see?”

And St John Vianney, Cure of Ars: “All the good works in the world are not equal to the Holy sacrifice of the Mass because they are works of men, while the Mass is the work of God. Martyrdom is nothing in comparison, for it is but the sacrifice of men to God; but the Mass is the sacrifice of God for men.”

The favourite saint of many Catholics, the priest who bore the wounds of Christ for fifty years, Padre Pio, once wrote: “Every Mass heard with devotion produces in our souls marvelous effects, abundant spiritual and material graces which we, ourselves, do not know. It is easier for the earth to exist without the sun than without the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.”

And the great Eucharistic saint, St Julian Eymard was famous for these words: “The Eucharist is not only the life of individual Christians; it is also the life of nations. A century advances or regresses to the extent to which the Most Holy Sacrament is adored.”

***********************

We live in times of huge unrest, of extremes, of momentous change, chaotic confusion and uncertainty: a faithless and perverse generation. Saint John Paul the Second at a Bishops gathering in France, in 1980, said that mankind faces a “mega-temptation”; that is, the temptation to think that man can save himself through science and technology; therefore Christ is to become obsolete.

It was on the doorstep of this modern age that Mary, like a prophet of old, made her entrance at Fatima. Supposedly a new and more enlightened age, scientifically advanced, yet in the last hundred years since Fatima there have been more wars and casualties than in the entire known history of humanity. These are dangerous times to live; dangerous and deceptive times if you are a believer.

Fatima was a pre-warning for us, echoing the Old Testament times when the Jews turned their back on God and He sent prophets to awaken them to the consequences. And this returns us to the biblical narrative of Esther which I mentioned earlier. Queen Esther lived in Persia (modern day Iran) and when the entire population of the Jewish people were threatened with extermination on the 13th day of the month, she interceded with the King to save them.

Well, barely weeks after the Fatima apparitions ended in 1917, Holy Mother Russia (as she was called then) was seized by Marxist Communists. Millions upon millions of God’s people were wantonly slaughtered, clergy and consecrated religious humiliated and killed, churches closed.

During the Spanish Civil War which followed suit in 1936, the Red Terror made martyrs of over four thousand diocesan priests and seminarians, 2,500 monks, friars and nuns. And so the pattern has been repeated throughout the twentieth century and now into the 21st Century. Wherever Communist and anti-Christian ideology has arisen, genocide has followed.

The Third Secret of Fatima released at the turn of this century concerns a vision of a murdered bishop in white, along with the bodies of cardinals, bishops and laymen in a city of ruins with armed soldiers. It does suggest there’s still more to come yet, a global form of Marxist Communism which, unrecognized, could be stealthily gaining foothold around us. Militant atheism in all its varied guises, institutionalized and politicized, remains humanity’s gravest enemy, diametrically opposed to true faith and religion.

At Fatima we were forewarned by the Mother of Salvation, If my requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace. If not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, stirring up revolutions, and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer; several nations will be annihilated.”

At present, persecution of Christians is on the rise. According to the Turin-based Centre for Studies, CENSUR, Christians are the most targeted religious group in the world. In the fiscal year of 2016 just gone, over ninety thousand Christians were murdered for their faith and 500 to 600 million were otherwise persecuted in such ways as imprisonment, abductions, economic restrictions, destruction of property and loss of personal rights.

These statistics surprise those of us who live relatively peaceful and comfortable lives in (…country named) because the media seldom reports on this issue. An Iraqi priest now living in (…city), Father (…  name) , has told us of hundreds of thousands of Chaldean Catholics murdered by Islamic Fundamentalists in Iraq and Syria. The Christian population of his homeland has been decimated from two million to less than 200,000 today.

I mention these facts and figures not to frighten anyone but just to make us aware of how serious the situation is one hundred years after Fatima.

There can be no hiding from the prophecy delivered from heaven that some nations (according to the repeated words of Our Lady to Sister Lucy) could disappear from the face of the earthsomething quite conceivable in the present international climate. Like Queen Esther, however, our Blessed Mother is interceding for us and with our co-operation, will succeed in bringing peace to our troubled world. We must hold fast to that hope, increasing our prayers and efforts, our sacrifices and penance, which can help mitigate the severity of events.

To combat all the evils of today Mother Mary has given us three weapons: number one, the daily Rosaryand at Fatima Lucy was told that  God has invested this ancient prayer with extra power for spiritual warfare when the devil appears to be gaining the upper hand; number two, the Five First Saturday Communions of Reparation; and three, the consecration of Russia named specificallywhich we are still awaiting and praying for – and personal consecration and devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Ultimately, we are assured that Mary’s Immaculate Heart WILL triumph. That triumph, we must remember, begins in individual hearts, and when people give up their Saturday, like all of you today, to come and honour the Blessed Mother, the first fruits of that triumph are already evident. It isn’t a numbers game. It never has been. The few, the devoted, can make a vast difference!

On this special day, which a hundred years ago was the feast of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, please pray in the words of Pope St Pius X, “O Virgin Mary, Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, inspire in all Christians a deep devotion for the Most Blessed Sacrament so that they may become worthy to receive Him daily”.

Prophecy Unfolding- the Current Pope, False Church and the Great Warning

A+M+D+G

This video is a summary of prophecies throughout the ages (and its application to the Church today), by renowned Catholic Theologian and author Dr. Kelly Bowring. See his website at TwoHeartPress.com

The video is over an hour, but worth every minute.

The first 12 mins cover in a nutshell, prophecies from St Paul VI, St. Malachi, St Francis of Assisi, B. Anne Catherine Emmerich, St. Faustina, Maria Divine Mercy, Ven. Archbishop Fulton Sheen, Pope Leo XIII, Cat. of Catholic church, Our Lady of America, Garabandal, Bl. Elena, Fatima, St John Bosco, Loius X, Medjugorje, St. Hildegard, Our Lady of La Salette, Fr. Gobbi, Our Lady of Akita, Bl. Anna Maia Taigi, Bl. Elizabeth Canori, St. Catherine Laboure, St Louis de Montfort, Revelation (BIBLE)

From about 15 mins on, he talks about the papal election, fulfilment of prophecy, the false pope, the validity of the papal election and our duty to resist.

At 20mins he speaks of the Truth which is being torn asunder. At 21m – he speaks of the promotion of errors; at 24mins – the schism, and promotion of disloyalty to Christ’s teachings; the antichrist. He speaks of a modern church based on social justice and compassion, which will reach out to all sinners, but without requiring repentance.

From 32 mins – changes which will be made to the Holy Mass which will replace the Holy Sacrifice with a pagan ritual.

From 34 mins on, he speaks of the antichrist, who takes up his place in Rome. Dr Bowring quotes prophecies from the Book of Truth here. He speaks of how the AC will announce the building of a new temple. The false prophet will display the attributes of a saint.

The Great Warning will occur after Pope Benedict leaves the Vatican. He speaks of the Signs of the Warning and the purpose of the Warning.

From 57 mins. Dr. Bowring speaks of a personal attack and threats by the devil and of persecutions which have befallen him and his family. He speaks of suffering for others which is necessary for Salvation. He said that in physical and mental suffering – therein lies our triumph.

Please pray for this very courageous man who has given everything to promote the Truth. Let us also be inspired to fight –

FATIMA’S MESSAGE MORE RELEVANT THAN EVER: Heaven’s Request for reparation

A+M+D+G

The following talk is by Crusader Chris, in the city where he lives. I thought, being the 100th Anniversary of the first Apparition, that this would be appropriate to share today. The only changes are the subheadings which I added for ease of reading. In fact, he did his second talk in the series today in the pro-Cathedral at an all-day Fatima celebration.

(The picture is of my own personal statue of Our lady of Fatima)

FIRST OF A 4-PART SERIES OF TALKS

IN THIS CENTENARY YEAR OF FATIMA, 2017

DAY WITH MARY, 25 February 2017

Good morning, everyone. Now, before I begin I’d just like to stress that the following material is not purely my own personal opinion. While I’m a Fatima enthusiast, I don’t profess to be an expert on the subject. I’ve done a lot of research, and have drawn on a number of RELIABLE sources – some of these I’ll mention as we go.

Perhaps we could start by praying a HAIL MARY for the Holy Spirit’s presence?

PART 1:

FATIMA’S MESSAGE MORE RELEVANT THAN EVER: Heaven’s Request for reparation

FATIMA… it could well be the most important sign of visible Divine intervention since Jesus was raised from the dead.

The “Miracle of the Dancing Sun” at Fatima must rank as the most dramatic and significant supernatural event in the entire history of the Church.

Not since Biblical Times has there been a public miracle of this magnitude!

But WHY we may wonder? WHY?

Could it be that, on entering the modern age in 1917, the Church was on the brink of the most critical and decisive phase of its two thousand year existence?

Many would contest that. Pragmatists and rationalists, theologians and historians would say that the Church has always been upon stormy waters.

But the advent of secularism, atheism, materialism, modern psychology, science and evolution has created a whole new generation conditioned by this thinking who are now enemies of the faith unlike anything ever before: hedonists, scoffers, intellectual giants, revolutionaries, demagogues and social activists with power and ambition to take hold of the world and make their beliefs dominate. Forcefully and seductively they are steering our civilization away from its Christian mores, coercing us into a Brave New World of supposedly “enlightened” values which, in truth, are both anti-Christian and destructive.

Relevance of Private Revelation

It is frequently asserted that Fatima is ONLY private revelation. Many voices in the Church diminish its importance. In the last 50 years it has been dismissed by the Vatican hierarchy. Buried by others and consigned to a grave stone. “It’s only private revelation,” they say. “We don’t have to believe.”

But looking back over the entirety of faith history, some of the greatest landmark moments, even in Sacred Scripture itself, are made up of private revelation. The three angels who appear to Abraham and Sarah announcing the infinite generations of believers to come:  private revelation. Moses’ encounter with God on Sinai and the giving of the Law: private revelation, although, of course, the Israeli camp did witness the accompanying spectacle from a distance. The calling of Samuel the prophet who anoints King David: private revelation. Isaiah, Jeremiah, all the prophets, the Angel Gabriel appearing to Mary: all private revelation. And the New Testament abounds with similar phenomena: the conversion of St Paul on the road to Damascus, his transporting into the heavenly realms, the apparitions to the disciples of the Risen Christ in His Glorified Body: all private revelation.

To those who insist that Fatima is merely private revelation, Our Lady in fact says the complete opposite. She told the three shepherds that she would perform a miracle so that “EVERYONE would believe”. It was intended for everyone, not just the young visionaries. And it did get the world’s attention, even the secular newspapers at the time. Over seventy thousand pilgrims were present. Hardened journalists who turned out to mock and belittle the so-called religious hysteria became believers.

Why did Our Lady appear?

So why would God permit the Blessed Mother of His Son to appear at the dawn of the twentieth century during the bloodiest war which was meant to “end all wars” and only months prior to the tumultuous Russian Revolution? Why would He give the handmaiden of Nazareth the power to overwhelm such a great multitude of people with a sight which brought them to their knees, convinced the world was about to end with the sun plunging toward the earth? It is interesting to note that this was 28 years before the first nuclear bombs were exploded, bringing an end to a far more devastating Second World War. Some commentators say Fatima’s solar phenomenon was like a prelude of that atomic power.

When Jesus came among us as the long-awaited Messiah He scolded those of His generation for not recognizing the signs of the times – Hugh Owen in his recent Fatima book, The Light Comes from the East, says “How much more will He scold us who have the gifts of the Holy Spirit if we fail to read the signs of the times.”

Pope Benedict’s XVI

Seven years ago our previous Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI, while visiting Fatima, made a startling pronouncement, one which negated the official Vatican position and his own earlier opinion as Cardinal Ratzinger. No longer could he agree that Fatima’s message was relegated to the historical past, left behind with the 20th century.  On May 13, 2010, before 500,000 pilgrims at the famous apparition site, Pope Benedict proclaimed in his papal address: “Whoever thinks that the prophetic mission of Fatima is over, is deceived. May these seven years that divide us from the centennial of the apparitions bring forth soon the foreseen triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary!”

In the same address Pope Benedict pointed out an uncomfortable fact: “Today,” he said, “we see in the most horrifying way, that the greatest persecution against the Church does not come from its enemies outside, but from the sins within; and that the Church has therefore a great need to re-learn penance. . .”

His Holiness was simply echoing the words of Our Lady of Fatima:

On October 13 in 1917 she was reported saying, “People must amend their lives and ask pardon for their sins. They must not offend Our Lord any more for He is already TOO MUCH offended. She mentioned in particular immorality and immodesty, fashions which greatly offended God, and her admonition recalls the two prayers which the Angel had taught the shepherd children a year earlier. These prayers were “in reparation for the outrages, sacrilege, blasphemies and INDIFFERENCE toward God.”

The Relevance of Our Lady’s Words for Today

Now, remember, this was 1917. How much more-so have those sins multiplied and intensified one hundred years later!

Father Regis Scanlon, spiritual director for Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity, has authored articles on Fatima. Recently he wrote, “Without a doubt abortion has always existed,” – on a minor scale in the backstreets of cities – “but now it is glorified by societies and protected by governments as a legal right. In 1917 the idea of legalized homosexual marriage, especially on a worldwide scale, would have been inconceivable. And I doubt you could find a practicing Catholic, in those days, who would NOT have been horrified to hear a fellow Catholic was regularly receiving Holy Communion despite being divorced, co-habiting or committing fornication or homosexual acts.”

Our Lady told Jacinta that the sins that offended God most were sins of the flesh, and that many marriages were not good. More people fall into hell, she said, because of unrepented sins of the flesh. This and sacrilegious communions are the two great evils which afflict the world and the Church.

Heaven foresaw all of this coming. Like the prophets of old, Christ’s Mother was sent to forewarn the world, to alert believers to the signs of the times. Sadly, a hundred years later, we hardly ever hear about sin (especially mortal sin); nor do we hear about Hell, about Satan or demonic activity, and we definitely never hear about reparation and sacrifice, so badly needed, as Fatima highlighted. Any such reference has become unfashionable – almost politically incorrect.

The Sequence of Events – a refresher:

Now, for those who are unfamiliar with the Fatima story, here’s a brief recap – and a refresher for those of you who have heard it but long ago.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The extraordinary sequence of events actually began in the spring and autumn of 1916. Sister Lucy in her memoirs, however, does mention that there was a mysterious prefigurement even earlier in 1915. On three occasions that year, while she and her two younger cousins Jacinta and Francisco Marto were tending their flocks, a figure appeared in the air above the olive trees.

The following year this figure revealed to them that he was the Angel of Peace, the Guardian Angel of Portugal – also later identified as St Michael. “Do not be afraid,” he told the children. “Pray with me.” Sister Lucy wrote that he looked “like a young man of about 14 or 15 years old, transparent as crystal when the sun shines through it and of great beauty.” He taught them a short prayer and showed them to kneel as they prayed and prostrate themselves with their foreheads almost touching the ground. When he returned in the autumn that year he rebuked them for wasting time playing. “What are you doing? Pray, pray very much! The most holy hearts of Jesus and Mary have designs of mercy on you. Offer prayers and sacrifices constantly to the Most High.” He explained to them, “Make of everything you can a sacrifice, and offer it to God as an act of reparation for the sins by which He is offended, and in supplication for the conversion of sinners. You will thus draw down peace upon your country.”

Now remember, these instructions were given to three little children who, in 1916, were aged ten, eight and six years old. On this second visit the Angel gave Holy Communion to Lucy and the precious Blood from a Chalice to Jacinta and Francisco, saying, “Take and drink the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, horribly outraged by ungrateful men! Make reparation for their crimes and console your God.” He knelt prostrate before the Blessed Sacrament, demonstrating again this lowly position of prayerful adoration, and recited with the young shepherds the now-famous prayer addressed to the Holy Trinity. In this way the little seers of Fatima were being primed up for the great encounter with heaven’s Queen a year ahead of her appearance.

The First Apparition

Meanwhile, the First World War was raging through Europe without let-up. Pope Benedict XV, tired and frail, weary of fruitless diplomatic entreaties with leaders, wrote a letter to all Christians. It was dated 5th May 1917. “In this terrible hour,” he pleaded, “may the faithful turn with lively confidence to the august Mother of God. Since all graces are dispensed through the hands of the Holy Virgin, beg her to obtain peace for the world, to end the dark tide of ruin and massacre.” He solemnly entrusted this task to her alone. Only eight days later she responded – on what was then known as the feast of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, May 13th.

May 13th that year was a Sunday. After attending Mass and leading their sheep to pasture at a place called the Cova da Iria, the three children witnessed a flash of lightning in the blue sky after praying their Rosary. Another flash and there, just a few footsteps away, on the top of a holm oak, stood a Lady dressed in white, “more brilliant than the sun,” wrote Lucy, “radiating a light so clear and intense”. She encouraged them to pray the Rosary to obtain peace for the world and an end to the First World War, and requested that they come to the Cova da iria on the 13th day of each month for six successive months.

13th June: the second apparition.

This drew about fifty onlookers along with Lucy, Jacinta and Francisco. On this occasion the Blessed Mother spoke of devotion to Her Immaculate Heart. “Jesus wishes to make use of you to make me known and loved,” she said and opening her hands, she showed them a vision of her heart encircled by thorns.

The Third Apparition

13th July. This pivotal third apparition brought record crowds. Five thousand people assembled this time, and it was the day that the Mother of Christ delivered the prophecies and promises and visions now associated with Fatima.

Firstly she announced the miracle which would take place three months from that date: “I will do this so that all may believe,” she said. And then she gave the children a graphic glimpse into the frightening reality of hell. Sadly she continued, “You have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace. This war is going to end soon, but if people do not cease offending God, a worse war will break out during the pontificate of Pius XI. When you see a night illumined by an unknown light, know that this is the great sign given you by God that he is about to punish the world for its crimes, by means of war, famine, and persecution of the Church and of the Holy Father. To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart and the Communion of Reparation on the First Saturdays.

If my requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace. If not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, stirring up revolutions, and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer; several nations will be annihilated.” Her final words were ones of hope:In the end my Immaculate Heart will triumph and there will be peace.”

The Secret

All these revelations were known initially as “the Secret”. The secret was divided into three parts: first part was the terrifying sight of hell. The second was the prophetic words just quoted. And what became known as the Third Secret or the third part began with the promise “In Portugal the dogma of the faith will always be preserved”. The contents of this secret were sealed in an envelope to be made public in 1960 when they would be better understood. Through papal diplomacy it took another forty years to learn of the apocalyptic vision we now know about: a slain bishop in white, surrounded by the corpses of bishops, cardinals and lay people in a city in ruins with soldiers present.

During this July apparition Our Lady also taught the children to pray in between decades of the Rosary: “Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell and lead all souls to heaven, especially those who are most in need of Thy mercy.” This is where that prayer originated.

The Fourth Apparition

13th August 1917. There was no apparition that day. The fourth appearance of Our Lady of Fatima was delayed until August 19th. This was because the three young seers were imprisoned by the Administrator of the local council. He threatened to boil them alive in hot oil if they did not renounce their visions and disclose the secret. After three days of brave and determined refusal they were released.

The Fifth Apparition:

September 13th. The fifth apparition occurred in the presence of 25 thousand observers with the Virgin Mary confirming the much-anticipated Miracle in one month’s time.

1 T UMAX PowerLook 3000 V1.8 [4]
This resulted in pilgrims converging on Fatima from all directions across Europe during mid October. Tens of thousands of them flocked in great expectancy, singing and praying, making their way through a ferocious rainstorm the night before the Miracle was due.

The Sixth Apparition: Miracle of the sun

October 13th, their faith in Fatima was not disappointed. The sky which had been hidden by black clouds suddenly cleared and the sun shone through. To everyone’s amazement it began performing extraordinary feats in the sky for fifteen long minutes. It whirled like a giant fiery Catherine wheel, zigzagging and plunging toward the earth, flooding the countryside with a spectrum of glorious rays. The muddy ground and the sodden clothes of the spectators were bone dry by the time the awesome prodigy was over. The secular press gave wide coverage with photos, especially of the terrified onlookers who thought the world was coming to an end. Even skeptical journalists were instantly converted that day.

In recent times, there have been reports of the sun spinning at other apparition sites like Medjugorje but nothing has equaled the impressive light show and the solar gymnastics displayed at Fatima.

Further apparitions

Of course that was not the completion of the Fatima story, only the beginning. Both Jacinta and Francisco were told by the Blessed Mother they would join her in heaven shortly. Both of them died of the post-war influenza epidemic in 1919 and 1920. Eighty years later they were beatified by Pope John Paul the Second and Blessed Jacinta’s body was exhumed and found to be incorrupt.

Lucy eventually became a Carmelite nun and was blessed with subsequent visions and heavenly communications throughout her long life. She died on 13th of February 2005 just seven weeks before Saint John Paul Two went to his heavenly reward.

There were three documented visitations to Lucy which served as a sequel to the 1917 events. On December 10th 1925 Our Lady appeared in Lucy’s convent cell to announce the Five First Saturday devotion of Reparation. Then on the 15th February the following year the Child Jesus appeared to Lucy, along with Our Lady to ensure the spreading of this devotion and to stress its importance..

Three years later, 13th June 1929, Our Lady of Fatima came to Lucy, as foretold, with her request for the consecration of Russia. This request was given while Lucy was praying late at night in the chapel, which became illuminated by the presence of a breathtaking image. Over the altar she saw the Divine Trinity: God the Father overseeing the Crucified Jesus with the Holy Spirit hovering above the cross. The moment has come,” Our Lady announced, “for the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart. The Holy Father must do this in union with all the bishops of the world.”

Two years later, in 1931, Jesus spoke to Lucy and reminded her of the consequences of failing to consecrate Russia.

The Great Sign:

Seven years elapsed and, as predicted by the Blessed Mother, the Second World War erupted, preceded by the Great Sign she had spoken about. During the reign of Pope Pius XI, on the evening of January 25th, 1938, all of Europe was bathed in unearthly lights. People were in panic, running in the streets with fear once again that the world was ending. Scientists quickly labeled the phenomenon an Aurora Borealis. They have since admitted the lights were “of an unidentified source” with no further explanation.

Within weeks of that Great Warning Sign, Hitler had marched into Austria, followed by its annexation and the seizure of Poland. Right on cue, the vast conflict, involving much of the world, began to unfurl.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Fatima is one of the very few Marian apparitions to be fully approved by the Church and to be promoted by most popes ever since – John Paul Two especially after his assassination attempt on 13th May 1981. The current pope has dedicated his pontificate to Our Lady of Fatima. But still heaven’s directive remains unimplemented. It is not the world which needs to be consecrated to the Heart of Mary but Russia, specifically named so that the conversion of Russia will be then attributed quite unmistakably to Our Lady’s intercessory power.

Sister Lucy recorded that Jacinta once told her, “Do not be afraid to tell everyone about devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. God has entrusted the peace of the world to her.” God has given the Blessed Virgin Mother a mission, to bring Christ back into the world, just as she brought Christ into the world the first time.

What  Fatima requires of us.

The more we study the Fatima revelations the more we come to see that there is much more required than simply praying the Holy Rosary every day. The Rosary is certainly a vital element – but what is equally imperative is an attitude of sacrifice, the offering of all the penances that come from our state of life, all that’s demanded by our daily duty, in a spirit of reparation for so many outrages and sacrileges and blasphemy. Reparation is the key word. One hundred years later the world’s future is in a precarious balance. A visionary was recently told by Our Lady that humanity is hanging by a thread. “The Bear is about to awaken and take the world by surprise”.

If God was offended in 1917, what is He now?

The errors of Russia

The “errors of Russia” which our dear Mother mentioned are precisely this: systematized atheism, the rejection of God, indifference to His existence and providence, even outright hostility; abortion now institutionalized in what were once Christian nations; divorce, destruction of the family unit, the denigration of a woman’s role of motherhood; the substitution of Divine Creation with Darwinism and its claim of human life evolving from a soulless primeval void.

These were the errors about to emerge in Holy Mother Russia a century ago which brought about bloodshed, closure of Churches, the imprisonment and murder of clergy and religious, millions upon millions of citizens wantonly slaughtered. It took fifty years for these errors of belief to be absorbed into western culture. By the 1970s divorce and abortion had gained legal status, followed by prostitution, and now the current gender theology, same-sex marriage and so on…. I think we all understand the seriousness of the times.

What we have to do now

Returning to Father Regis Scanlon, he recently wrote, “God doesn’t want us to suffer the consequences of our disobedience, that’s why He sent Mary Immaculate to us in the early 20th century with these important signs – so we could repent and correct ourselves (…) there is still time left. Remember God’s Mercy. We must not despair. When enough of the entire Church makes an effort, including daily and worthy reception of Holy Communion, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in reparation – when the Pope, Bishops and priests lead the Church in these efforts, Satan’s power will end. And if our Church leaders refuse to do what Our Lady has been asking since 1917, then I believe that we must prepare for penance – a lot of it – and soon.”

In the end Mary’s Immaculate Heart will triumph and her promises will be fulfilled – but at what cost?

Please continue to pray that all of Our Lady’s conditions for world peace are soon met. Pray for the Church. Pray for the world. Pray for souls. And, in the words of the latest Fatima online newsletter, “Pray also for COURAGE for it may grow darker before the dawn of grace.”

Feast of Blessed Jacinta of Fatima

**************************************

In the next two talks on Fatima we will look at the numerous events since 1960 which are directly related to Fatima, the significance of the 100 years ending in 2017; also the history of the many attempts at consecrating Russia, and why such a simple act has caused so much difficulty and confusion.

JtM Crusade Prayer Meeting Thursday 4th May, 2017

A+M+D+G

 Prayer Theme: Special Graces

 Overview of Readings

  1. Bible(NAB) Jeremiah: 1 (God calls Jeremiah to be a “a prophet to the nations”. He placed His words in Jeremiah’s mouth. His role is to “To uproot and to tear down, to destroy and to demolish, to build and to plant”. Jerusalem and Judah will be surrounded and God will pronounce (His) sentence against them for all their wickedness in forsaking (Him) and for burning incense to other gods ,and in bowing down to the works of their hands . In the end, God promises Jeremiah that “They will fight against you, but not prevail over you, for I am with you to deliver you—oracle of the LORD.”

2.  B of T: 4th July, 2012.  (Our Lady tells us that she has been preparing all of us through her visionaries and prophets. She tells us that the prophecies and secrets will unfold soon. She reminds us that God is in command. The serpent’s power is strengthened when we fall into sin. We are reminded to pray for those engulfed in darkness and to pray CP 64. We are the soldiers Jesus needs at this time. …)

  1. B of T: 25th Sept., 2013 (The persecution of Jesus’ church has begun but only a few of His disciples on Earth, will dare to be seen to defend His Mystical Body on Earth, as it is plundered, persecuted and then annihilated. He had only 4 loyal disciples. Our Lady tells us that all that was foretold by her during the apparitions at La Salette and Fatima  are now unfolding before us all, but many of us are blind….)

Bible Reading

Jeremiah 1  Call of Jeremiah

4The word of the LORD came to me: 5Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,

before you were born I dedicated you, a prophet to the nations I appointed you.

6 “Ah, Lord GOD!” I said, “I do not know how to speak. I am too young!”*

7But the LORD answered me, Do not say, “I am too young.”

To whomever I send you, you shall go; whatever I command you, you shall speak.

8 Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you—oracle of the LORD.

9 Then the LORD extended his hand and touched my mouth, saying to me,

See, I place my words in your mouth!   10 Today I appoint you

over nations and over kingdoms, To uproot and to tear down,

to destroy and to demolish, to build and to plant.

11The word of the LORD came to me: What do you see, Jeremiah? “I see a branch of the almond tree,”* I replied. 12Then the LORD said to me: You have seen well, for I am watching over my word to carry it out. 13e A second time the word of the LORD came to me: What do you see? I replied, “I see a boiling kettle whose mouth is tipped away from the north.”*

14 The LORD said to me, And from the north evil will pour out over all who dwell in the land.f

15Look, I am summoning all the kingdoms of the north—oracle of the LORD—

Each king shall come and set up his throne in the gateways of Jerusalem,

Against all its surrounding walls and against all the cities of Judah

16 I will pronounce my sentence against them for all their wickedness in forsaking me, in burning incense to other gods, in bowing down to the works of their hands .

17 But you, prepare yourself; stand up and tell them all that I command you.

Do not be terrified on account of them, or I will terrify you before them;

18 For I am the one who today makes you a fortified city,

A pillar of iron, a wall of bronze, against the whole land:

Against Judah’s kings and princes, its priests and the people of the land.

19 They will fight against you, but not prevail over you,

for I am with you to deliver you—oracle of the LORD.

2. Virgin Mary: Whatever happens in the world children you must know that God the Most High is in command.

July 4, 2012

My child, those who have witnessed the miracles of my appearances on earth will know that the time for the secrets and the prophecies foretold will unfold soon.

Children I have made myself known in the world for some time to help prepare you for the glorious return of my Son.

My Son is preparing all of you through the visionaries and the prophets so that you will be made worthy to receive His Gift of eternal life.

You must never be fearful of the future if you believe in my Son because He is the Bread of Life and you will have a wonderful new future.

Whatever happens in the world children you must know that God the Most High is in command.

The serpent has little power against My Father.

The serpent’s power is only strengthened by those who fall prey to sin and the temptations he puts in their way.

Man becomes a prisoner when he sins because his power to resist other sins and offenses against My Father weakens.

Then he continues to sin until he is engulfed with a darkness which is so thick that he cannot escape from it, no matter how hard he tries.

Children you are now obliged, out of your love for my Son, to help those poor souls.

Only you can help them and save them because many will not be able to help themselves.

You are the soldiers my Son needs at this time. It will be through your love for Him that He will grant graces upon lost souls when you invoke His help through your prayers.

Here is the Crusade Prayer to save sinners.

Crusade Prayer (64) Save my brothers and sisters

O my dearest Saviour Jesus Christ, accept my gift of prayer and sacrifices to help save my brothers and sisters from the prison of darkness they are in. Allow me to help salvage their souls. I beg you to forgive them for their sins and I ask that you flood their souls with the Holy Spirit so that they will run into your arms as the refuge they so desperately need before they are lost forever. I offer you my gift of surrender for such souls in humble servitude and thanksgiving. Amen

Children you are one with my Son.

Your love brings Him great comfort and your sacrifices and prayers will help Him to bring all of humanity into the safety of His New Paradise on earth.

Only then can the Holy Family of God the Most High re-unite and live in peace for ever and ever.

3.  Mother of Salvation: Only a few will be brave enough to openly proclaim the Word of God during the Crucifixion of my Son’s Church on Earth

September 25, 2013

My child, the Crucifixion of my Son’s Church on Earth has well and truly commenced and all the signs have begun to be seen. Just as my Son was nailed to the Cross, only one of His apostles stayed with Him to the end and so too, will few of His disciples on Earth, dare to be seen to defend His Mystical Body on Earth, as it is plundered, persecuted and then annihilated.

Very few of those who swore allegiance to my Son watched His scourging or walked alongside Him on the climb to Mount Calvary. I only had four loyal disciples – my cousin Mary; Martha; Mary Magdalene and John – to hold me up and help me in my agony as I had to witness my Son’s terrible torture. Many will follow my Son’s instructions, through these holy Messages for the world, but only a few will be brave enough to openly proclaim the Word of God during the Crucifixion of my Son’s Church on Earth.

My sorrow at this time is great as all that was foretold by me during the apparitions at La Salette and Fatima  are now unfolding before you all, but many of you are blind. Those of you who dedicated hours before me at my most holy shrines must come and ask me, your Mother, to open your eyes to the Truth. You must ask me to consecrate your hearts and souls to my Son, otherwise you too will deny Him.

Your beloved Mother

2017 – 100 Years since Fatima- what is the significance?

+AM+DG+

ol-fatima-and-pope-benedict

Pope Leo XIII’s vision on 13th October, 1884:

The pope overheard a conversation between Jesus and the devil, who said he could destroy the Church. Jesus gave him 75-100 years to try to do this.

We don’t really know when the 100 years started but

EXACTLY 33 years later, on the 13th October, 1917 – the miracle of the sun occurred. (Co-incidence?)

Obviously Fatima is connected to Pope Leo’s vision. Our Lady of Fatima outlines events which are to happen in the next 100 years, and she gives us the solution.

Our Lady, at Fatima on 13th July, 2017 said :

“…To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the Consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart, and the Communion of Reparation on the First Saturdays.

If My requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church.

The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, various nations will be annihilated. In the end, My Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to Me, and she will be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to the world. In Portugal the dogma of the Faith will always be preserved …”   https://www.ewtn.com/library/mary/firstsat.htm

In 1931, Our Lady said:

…Like the King of France they will repent and do so, but it will be late. Russia will already have spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church. The Holy Father will have much to suffer!

(There is no doubt he aforementioned events are now occurring!)

Message from the Book of Truth:  Message 0036

01 January 2011 @ 02:00am

…   Mother of God’s role in Second Coming of Christ

My beloved Mother, who was responsible for taking up the Chalice of accepting My Existence, at the moment of Conception to herald a new beginning for mankind, will also herald My Second Coming.

My beloved Mother, the Angel of Light, will now triumph to deliver My Mercy and herald My Second Coming on Earth. My devoted Mother, the Immaculate Conception, as Mediatrix, will help prepare the world for My Second Coming. She has been preparing mankind for many centuries, but has now, in the last 100 years, been trying to instil love in your hearts, to ignite the sometimes stagnate love you have for Me and My Eternal Father.

There was a time when My Mother, who, through Divine Manifestation, would command attention on Earth. Sadly, since Fatima and Garabandal, few of My sacred servants take her Divine apparitions seriously. Nor are her visionaries, the chosen few, taken seriously.

This time, as the year 2011 commences, many, many changes in the world are now about to take place. This is because the world, My children, as you once knew it is about to change…”

(These are now evident)

“…Secret of Fatima – connection with future

So many of you innocent and trusting souls fail to grasp the evil that is about to unfold. My children, and I include those reading these Messages for the first time out of curiosity, who may feel a gap in your spiritual welfare, listen now.

You and your fellow brothers and sisters are being led into a world dictated by the group foretold in the last Secret of Fatima, to which you are not privy, where you will soon find the following. …”

Your Divine Teacher, Saviour and Just Judge of Mercy”

And finally, words from Pope Benedict XVI in 2010:

Pope Benedict visited  Fatima in May 2010 – excerpt of Interview with Fr Lombardi on Tuesday 11th May.

(Referring to Third secret released in 2000)

“Consequently, I would say that, here too, beyond this great vision of the suffering of the Pope, which we can in the first place refer to Pope John Paul II, an indication is given of realities involving the future of the Church, which are gradually taking shape and becoming evident”

Marxism, Society and the Papacy

+AMDG+

  1. The November 2013 Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii Gaudium was similar to the Repubblica interview in that the Pope (Francis) focuses on two great issues” that, he says, “will shape the future of humanity.” “These issues are first, the inclusion of the poor in society, and second, peace and social dialogue,” he wrote.

  1. Venerable Archbishop Fulton Sheen :index

On the book ‘Communism and the Consciousness of the West’ by Bishop Fulton Sheen he wrote this in the 1940’s.
He (i.e. the antichrist) will tempt Christians with the same three temptations with which he tempted Christ:

The temptation to turn stones into bread as an earthly Messiahs will become the temptation to sell freedom for security, making bread a political weapon which only those who think his way may eat.

The temptation to work a miracle by recklessly throwing himself from a steeple will become a plea to desert the lofty pinnacles of truth where faith and reason reign, for those lower depths where the masses live on slogans and propaganda.

He wants no proclamation of immutable principles from the lofty heights of a steeple, but mass organization through propaganda where only a common man directs the idiosyncrasies of common man. Opinions not truths, commentators not teachers, Gallup polls not principles, nature not graceto these golden calves will men toss themselves from their Christ.

The third temptation in which Satan asked Christ to adore him and all the kingdoms of the world would be His, will become the temptation to have a new religion without a Cross, a liturgy without a world to come, a religion to destroy a religion, or a politics which is a religionone that renders unto Caesar even the things that are God’s.

3. Dr Anca-Maria Cernea, Association of Catholic Doctors of Bucharest,

spoke at the Rome Life Forum on 7 May 2016. This was reported on May 16, 2016 in Voice of the Family. The article can be seen entitled “Cultural Marxism: A Threat to the Family”.

http://voiceofthefamily.com/dr-anca-maria-cernea-cultural-marxism-a-threat-to-the-family/

In this article Dr Anca-Maria describes communism and it’s marxist ideologies and it’s attack on western culture. She describes the history of attacks on society from the legalization of abortion by Lenin back in 1920, no-fault divorce, radical sexual education, gay rights movement. She describes  howMarx expresses a profound hatred for God and for the entire human race. Marx doesn’t deny God’s existence, he is jealous of God; he hates Him and wants to take His place …. , and testimonies about strange ceremonies that Marx used to perform in his house, all of which indicate that he was definitely a worshiper of the devil.”

She sums up the threats into two categories:

  1. The war against family and against innocent human life and
  2. The Church and the war against family and innocent human life

Excerpts are below:

“The attack against the family and human life is part of a wider revolutionary attempt to re-design human society and human nature.

Its motivation is spiritual. It is a form of revolt against God, against His moral Law and the order of His Creation.

It’s not a spontaneous phenomenon. It’s a war, wedged by a gnostic-revolutionary ideology against the Judeo-Christian Civilization. It has been planned, and carried out over more than a century, leading to the situation we have now”

“Pope Leo XIII in the 19th century saw that communist ideology was an error of religious nature.

He called it “sect” of “socialists, communists, or nihilists” and he condemned it.

Pius XI in Divini Redemptoris (1937) said that communism concealed “a false messianic idea” and a “deceptive mysticism”.

But later on, until Centesimus Annus, the Popes no longer insisted on the religious nature of this error.”

“Our Lady of Fatima warned against “Russia’s errors”, which would spread all over the world.  And that is what happened since 1917.

The basic idea is the same as the serpent’s proposal to Adam and Eve, to eat the forbidden fruit, to ignore God’s commandment – “the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil” (Gen 3:5).

“It appears nowadays to be even more revolutionary than classical Marxism – it pretends to reinvent the family, the sex identity and human nature, while classical Marxism was pretending to re-invent society on the basis of a violent take-over of property.”

“There has been no justice in Russia for the crimes of communism.

Moreover, there is no proof that the huge KGB structure that had infiltrated the whole world has been dissolved”

“The Russian government is anything but Christian. Russia still has not converted.

Our Lady has named “Russia”, not “the Soviet Union”.

So the devotion to Our Lady of Fatima is now timelier than ever. Russia and the whole world affected by Russia’s errors urgently need consecration to Our Lady. And conversion.”

“The Popes have constantly condemned communism since its earliest days.

Pius IX, Leo XIII, Pius XI and Pius XII have all radically rejected communism.

And they have also explicitly warned that communism was a threat to the family.

During the Second World War and in the 50s, this unyielding anticommunism expressed by the Pope and the Church has inspired the resistance to communism of millions of Catholics in Europe.”

And the Second Vatican Council did not issue a condemnation of communism – in spite of the fact that many Council Fathers had insisted for it.

Along the 2000 years of Church history, the purpose of all Councils (except Vatican II) was to react to error and warn against it. Councils condemned errors. That’s how Catholic theology has been formulated.

But Pope John XXIII said the Church in his time preferred mercy and was not going to pronounce condemnations.”

Some Catholic bishops went on fighting communism – the most outstanding example is the Polish Church under the leadership of Cardinal Wyszyński.

But not all Catholic bishops in the world did the same. Some even actively promoted communism inside the Church for instance, under the form of liberation theology in Latin America, a very successful KGB operation.”

“In the Catholic Social Doctrine after Vatican II, the rejection of Marxism became less radical, at the same time as hostility to economic freedom increased. The language of the encyclicals moved from normal Christian language to ideologically contaminated media language.

The family is the first and best institution for fighting poverty and social exclusion.

If we want to help people out of poverty, we should start by defending the family – and Christian morality, because Catholic charity cannot be separated from evangelization.”

“Clear language is an important condition for victory in the spiritual and in the cultural battles:

“Let your yes mean yes, and your no mean no. Anything more than this comes from the evil one. (Mt 5:37)”

“The shepherds’ duty is to make this distinction clear.

They should preach the Kingdom of God and His justice, not socialist “justice”, understood as government control over economy, or income redistribution.

They should preach peace as offered by Christ, not as stated by the UN.”

“The Church shepherds should preach real freedom, which is liberation from sin, from the slavery of Satan. Veritas liberabit vos. Real freedom means salvation, and thus can never be bad or excessive.”

“The real priority for the Church should be to lead us in the spiritual battle, to save souls, to tell the whole world, now that we have just one year left until the centenary of Fatima:

“Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.” (Mt 3:2) The Kingdom of God, which is not from this world.

Paradise cannot be achieved on earth, good and evil will still coexist in earthly realities, until the Lord Himself will come in glory to judge the world and sort everything out.

But at least a certain degree of normality can be brought about through evangelization and conversion of persons and societies.

That’s the best we can do to “fix the world”.

When there is enough holiness and virtue in our communities, when enough people share the same objective moral criteria (the Ten Commandments), then we don’t need to rely on almighty government bureaucrats to keep society from becoming a lawless jungle.

Then people can trust each other, and citizens, as well as society as a whole, may enjoy freedom.

Then the institutions stick to their job and do it decently, the family is safe, and the culture of life wins over the ideologies of death.

Then civilization is morally strong, and apt to successfully defend itself from barbarism – and also to preach the Gospel to the barbarians and convert them to Christianity.

That’s how the Church has created Christian culture and civilization, that’s what the Church should keep doing.

Angel of Wrath

I was watching a video on the Third Secret of Fatima and pondering soberly all the implications of why the church did obey The Blessed Virgin by revealing the secret by 1960, and what the church was, and still is, hiding.

Earlier in the day I delivered pamphlets into neighbour’s letter boxes about The Warning as predicted at Garabandal  in 1961. At 3 0’clock I prayed the Hour of Mercy prayer and then felt drawn to open St Faustina’s diary for some reading. The passage was most appropriate and stunningly confirmed what I had been reading and reflecting upon. The two particular extracts (highlights mine) are below:

Notebook 1: msg 474

“The following day, Friday, September 13, 1935. 474 In the evening, when I was in my cell, I saw an Angel, the executor of divine wrath. He was clothed in a dazzling robe, his face gloriously bright, a cloud beneath his feet. From the cloud, bolts of thunder and flashes of lightning were springing into his hands; and from his hand they were going forth, and only then were they striking the earth. When I saw this sign of divine wrath which was about to strike the earth, and in particular a certain place, which for good reasons I cannot name, I began to implore the Angel to hold off for a few moments, and the world would do penance. But my plea was a mere nothing in the face of the divine anger. Just then I saw the Most Holy Trinity. The greatness of Its majesty pierced me deeply, and I did not dare to repeat my entreaties. At that very moment I felt in my soul the power of Jesus‟ grace, which dwells in my soul. When I became conscious of this grace, I was instantly snatched up before the Throne of God. Oh, how great is our Lord and God and how incomprehensible His holiness! I will make no attempt to describe this greatness, because before long we shall all see Him as He is. I found myself pleading with (197) God for the world with words heard interiorly. As I was praying in this manner, I saw the Angel‟s helplessness: he could not carry out the just punishment which was rightly due for sins. Never before had I prayed with such inner power as I did then…”

Not long afterwards St. Faustina relates the following:

Msg 479:

“My second confession to the Archbishop [Jalbrzykowski]. “Know, my daughter, that if this is the will of God, it will take place sooner or later, for God‟s will must be done. Love God in your heart, have…..” [unfinished thought].”

I cannot help but wonder if this vision given to St Faustina which so frightened her is related to the Third Secret of Fatima and, of course, the Angel in Revelations in the Bible. Is that we are on the cusp of the chastisement? Watching the video and then connecting the events of the day, it seems so. The Lord is drawing our attention to many related things and like bits of an incomplete puzzle, helps us put them together.

The World’s Greatest Weapon, Part1– it’s in our hands!

+AMDG+

If you were given the power to bring peace to our troubled world, wouldn’t you use it? In the present climate of fear with the upsurge in violence and terror, the deepening crisis in international conflict and growing uncertainty, we can often feel helpless to do anything. Sometimes we even begin to lose hope.

Rosary beads

Nearly a hundred years ago, in the Church-approved events of Fatima, Sister Lucia revealed how the Holy Virgin Mary had said that God has granted extra power and effectiveness to the recitation of the Holy Rosary for our times. This “efficacy” has been given to such an extent, she was told, that there is no problem in our families, our communities, our private lives, or the life of peoples and nations, which cannot be resolved by praying this ancient prayer.

It is a supernatural weapon placed in our hands “because the devil has entered into a final and decisive battle in the last times in which we live” and the spiritual warfare is intensifying.

100 Year Plan of Masonry – Part 4

Part 4- Heaven intervenes!

It is fascinating, in retrospect, to see how Heaven has intervened in this past century as Hell’s diabolical plan has been unfolding. The year 1917, of course, is the pivotal moment when the Virgin Mary appeared at Fatima, an obscure little village in Portugal named after the daughter of  Islam’s founding father, the “Last Prophet” Mohammed. In the Spring of 1916 the Blessed Mother was preceded by the Angel of Portugal, later identified as St Michael, and it was he who prepared the young shepherd and shepherdesses of Fatima for their divine visitation.

This is an interesting detail, because in the Book of Daniel Chapter 12, describing the End Times, St Michael is mentioned as “being close to God’s people”. Once again at Garabandal in 1961 he appears on numerous occasions along with the Virgin Mary, and this is at the onset of Vatican II when the sealed Secret of Fatima is silenced and the instructions of the Virgin Mary ignored. It was at Fatima – thirty years before the advent of nuclear weaponry – that Mary advised us that “if people do not turn back to God” there would be the annihilation of several nations.

Famous Russian author Alexander Solzhenitsyn, fifty years after the ruinous Soviet revolution which swallowed up 60 million of his fellow countrymen, echoed those words of Mary as he repeated what he had heard as a child: “Men have forgotten God; that’s why all this has happened.” Reflecting upon the state of the world today, the lawlessness and anarchy and violence, the lack of respect for everything sacred, we can say the same thing. The only reason the new World Order and its worldwide worship of Lucifer will succeed is because humanity no longer wants Jesus Christ as their King. They have foolishly rejected Him along with the Laws of God in favour of a supposed liberty and they will “reap the whirlwind” (Hosea 8.7).

At Medjugorje, the Blessed Mother told the visionaries back in the early 1980s that God had permitted the devil to have complete power to rule for a hundred years, and we are living through that period. Her words reinforce the vision of Pope Leo XIII in 1844 when he “overheard” a conversation between Satan and the Lord, a very similar scenario to the Book of Job where an agreement took place in the celestial throne room about Job’s faith to be tested. After Pope Leo’s vision he was inspired to compose the well-known Catholic prayer to St Michael for protection. That prayer and the Holy Rosary are two of the major weapons needed in our arsenal for the intensifying final battle between good and evil.

It is obvious now, from all I have now been reading, that Masonry has been instrumental in directing this 100 year strategy of decline, assisted by all the evil forces emptied out of Hell during this period (according to Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich this occurred “two-thirds of the way through the 20th Century”). Those opposed to God have guided and controlled the course of world events and from the mid-1800s have swayed the thinking of the masses, today especially through the propaganda machine of global media and technological advances in communication. Over the decades more and more of the population, since the First World War, have abandoned the land and been lured into the burgeoning cities of the world by the promise of better prospects, and all of us have been swept along at a breathless pace through an age of so much progress and scientific advancement, oblivious of our awaiting destiny.

In 1931 a devout young Polish nun, now Saint Faustina, was visited by Jesus and told to speak to the world about His great Mercy and to “prepare the world for My Final Coming” when he would come “not as a Merciful Saviour but as a just Judge”. This visitation along with the apparitions of Fatima has been Heaven’s warning that, without prayer and submission to God, our future is extremely insecure. On 13th October 1917 the fiery, dancing sun which plunged toward earth drove 70,000 people to their knees in holy fear, and this, the most monumental miracle since Biblical times, was a reminder of our need for repentance.
