On Sunday August 14th, I was at a Novus Ordo Mass at Our Lady of the Angels for the second time in a month. It’s not my home parish and the celebrating priest was different on each occasion. Something unusual, most likely miraculous occurred.
At the beginning of August, as the priest held up the large white Eucharistic Host for adoration at the Consecration, I noticed a soft but marked golden glow, emanating from the centre, diffused to the edges. I rationalized that there were many candles and lights shining upon the beautiful altar and that it must have been that the light from one of the many sources that lit up the Host from behind, although I did wonder if that was true…
A fortnight or so later, a different priest, unfamiliar to me celebrated the Mass. I had been to Confession about an hour before Mass and they had brought a beautiful statue of Our Lady out to the front of the Church to accompany a Eucharistic Procession planned for after Mass. Later, I realised that it was actually the annual Feast Day of Our Lady of the Angels, on which the church who bore the same namesake, was celebrating that very day.
It was at a later point in the Mass this time, when I noticed something breathtakingly remarkable; what I believe to be a Eucharistic Miracle. This time the priest held in his hands, a small white consecrated Host. This time there was, taking up almost the entire Host, a very bright, golden glow, leaving only a white rim for an edge. It was striking and beautiful; I felt amazed but I dared to rationalise again, “Look how the candles light up the Host and make it glow so beautifully. How amazing that the light hits it in that exact spot..must be a deliberate architectural intention…”, until the priest bent over a little and moved the Host down, still in his hands, to then receive The Blessed Sarament into his mouth and the bright golden glow remained intact, not even even flickering or wavering. This act took mere seconds but the significance of what I had witnessed was profound. I went to Holy Communion and knelt to receive Our Lord on the tongue, feeling moved, but trying to hold it together. After thanksgiving prayers, I did not immediately tell my eldest daughter who returned to my side anything, but by the last hymn, Amazing Grace, we were both shedding tears, moved by inexplicable Grace. At first she thought it was just the hymn or the Mass as a whole overwhelming me; as she felt but I explained later.
If I compared what I saw in terms of ‘the emanating glow’ to anything remotely similar, I would refer to a photo/video I saw of the Eucharistic Miracle at Garabandal 1962, which is imprinted upon my memory. In the photos that I have seen the Communion Host that appears on Conchita’s tongue, seems to glow with a bright, white light. The difference here is that the Host shone with a bright, deeply golden light instead, from It’s centre. For those who believe, in the True Presence of Christ in the Eucharist, no further explanation is necessary. For those who do not, this is certainly not the first or only Eucharistic Miracle, which you will find if you search the topic. It is a belief which is biblical and can be understood- with the eyes of the soul through the assistance of the Holy Spirit. Jesus is Our Blessed Saviour and Mighty King Who humbles Himself to become Food for our Soul.

Jesus promised us, in his messages, that He would be with us in all our Crusade prayer groups. He has given us prayers to help us in all our difficulties and trials and endows us with many blessings. He said that there would be miracles in our prayer groups, and indeed many signs have occurred. (see other posts in this category).
Following is a testimony of Faith and Trust in the promise of healing inherent in CP 94.. by a relative of one of our prayer group members
4th September, 2015
My name is J and I live in Qld, Australia.I am a nurse by profession.
On the morning of 13/06/2015, I woke up with my left eye closed completely. I had started getting migraines and severe headaches. I was admitted to the hospital, then was transferred to a specialist hospital for investigations.
After the completion of all these investigations, the doctors told me that I had a mini stroke and they couldn’t find the cause. They said it may take six months for my eye to open and 6 – 12 months for complete recovery. I had asked my cousin to pray for me and she, in turn, asked her Crusade Prayer group to pray for me.
All I had in my mind, was that I didn’t want to die before receiving the Anointing of the Sick. After six weeks of my struggle, I received the Sacrament and started to feel better spiritually. On 31/07/2015, I was told that there was 5 percent chance that m y eye may not open at all. When I asked whether I would be able to work, the Doctor said he would sign to release my superannuation – meaning that I would not be able to return to work. Then the Dr. proceeded to complete and sign the form.
Due to my hectic work load, my daily prayers had been reduced to the daily Rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet. My Crusade Prayers were reduced slowly and I stopped at one point. My cousin (who lives 1000km from me), had told me about miracles occurring after people had said Crusade Prayer 94. They had heard this from their spiritual guide (representing MDM) who had visited the prayer group and related various Crusade Prayer Group miracle stories from around the world.
At this stage, I started to pray the Crusade Prayers with my one eye which was compensating for both with double vision. It was very difficult to read this way.
After a few days had gone by, my left eyelid started to open slowly. I continued my Crusade prayers and now, twelve weeks after the stroke, I have been cleared to go to work, beginning on 09/09/2015 which is in a week’s time.
The doctor said that it was a miracle. He said that he had not seen anyone have such a recovery anytime within the first 6 months. Note that six weeks previously, he said that there was a chance of my eye not opening at all.
All glory be to God!
I thank the priest who offered Mass for me and all those who said prayers for me.
After this recovery, I made a commitment to God that I shall continue to pray my Crusade prayers until I meet Him in Heaven after I leave this exile.
This is my sincere testimony of the miracle of Crusade Prayers. I believe these prayers have come from God and I am a witness to their power.
My humble heartfelt thanks to everyone who prayed for my recovery and please keep me in your daily prayers.
My sincere gratitude goes to The Holy Trinity, One Undivided God and to the Mother of Salvation
More on Apparition Hill: (See post dated 10th July)
This information has been contributed by a fellow JTM Crusader.
*About every 200 ft (65 m) there was a brass depiction of each of the Joyful mysteries of the Rosary.
*The whole walkable path on Apparition Hill is in the shape of a giant Rosary when viewed from above.
*The Cross between the 2nd and 3rd Mystery
This was the place of one of Our Lady’s apparitions. That cross is there because on the 3rd day of the apparitions, the following occurred:
The THIRD Day
On the 26th of June 1981,
On the same day, coming down Podbrdo,Our Lady appeared one more time,
this time however only to Maria saying,
“Peace, peace, peace and only peace.”
Behind her, Maria could see a cross.
After which Our Lady repeated, in tears, the following words,
“Peace must reign between man and God, and between all people!”
*The Permanent Sign on Apparition Hill: (same as Garabandal).
When the visible sign comes, for many it will already be too late:
Vicka, during an interview by Fr. Janko Bubalo:
Janko: “Tell me where the Virgin will give that sign.
Vicka: “On Podbrdo. At the sight of the first apparitions.
Janko: “Will the sign be in the Heavens or on earth?
Vicka: “On earth.
Janko: “Will it appear spontaneously, or will it gradually appear?
Janko: “Will everyone be able to see it?
Vicka: “Whoever comes here will.
Janko: “Will the sign be temporary, or will it be permanent?
Janko: “Will the sign be able to be destroyed by anyone?
Vicka: “By no one.
Janko: “You think that or…
Vicka: “The Virgin said so.
Janko: “Do you know exactly what the sign will be?
Janko: “Do you know when the Virgin will make it evident to the rest of us?
Vicka: “I know that also.
Janko: “And why is the Virgin leaving the sign here?
Vicka: “Why to show the people that She is here among us…I’ll just say this: whoever does not believe without a sign will not believe with a sign.
Question: “Do you know when the permanent sign is going to come?
Question: “Is it going to be in your lifetime?
Question: “When the permanent sign comes, will everybody in the whole world believe because of the sign?
Ivan: “I don’t know.
Question: “What happens to those people who don’t really believe enough right now to convert and want to wait until the permanent sign comes?
Ivan: “For those people, it will be too late. The Blessed Mother says that is why God is giving so much time for these apparitions, so that all may come to conversion.
She wants to make certain that all people have this opportunity.
She can’t help anybody who doesn’t want to change, who doesn’t come back to God, who doesn’t put God first.
If you don’t do this now, it will be too late.”
PADRE LIVIO – So, in essence, the discourse is this: the Madonna urges us to convert, she tells us not to wait for the sign on the mountain in order to convert, and in any event, «…all the secrets that I have confided will be realized and also the visible sign will be made manifest. When the visible sign comes, for many it will already be too late», (December 23, 1982). What does that mean?
VICKA – The Madonna did not explain why it will be too late and I did not ask, she only said that we are now living in a time of grace.
This morning we were picked up by a driver to go to this famous place where St Michael the Archangel appeared.
Inside the cave, where he appeared, are beautiful altars and a chapel of Adoration.
Behind the altar is a smaller alcove covered with glass/perspex and an old statue of St Michael. People drop into the opening at the top petitions, donations and even rosary beads.
There is an order of monks that looks after the cave. Unfortunately, we just arrived at the end of Mass.
A nun at the door takes offerings for Masses. We left some Mass offerings for our families and one for our prayer group.
As before we touched our “relic handkerchiefs” to the walls of the cave. We prayed for our prayer group intentions before the Blessed Sacrament in the Adoration chapel.
It is a beautiful and humble place. There are no walls; it is still a cave.
It seems that I cannot fail to write this because I have just been reminded by a heavenly being! While I'm not really sure who, I suspect St Therese. On Thursday while at prayer group, just after the Rosary, and prayers for the Pope, I quite unexpectedly smelt a beautiful smell of flowers; a beautiful bouquet, not quite like standard roses. I don't know how to describe it except that it was heavenly as it seemed to me and It reminded me of a healing balm, maybe because I was thinking of another prayer group member with a serious illness. I thought it smelt like a holy oil that I once had, that had come from a miraculous statue of Our Lady. It wafted my way several times and caused joy and wonder in me. I thought I would not say anything in case it seemed like 'pride', unless someone else spoke of it. When we finished our prayers, my mum spoke up and asked if anyone had smelt that beautiful perfume that entered the room? I then felt free to confirm that I had! So did a couple of others. Another member (B) wanted to be prudent (and be sure we weren't misguided) so she suggested that we check it was not each person's personal perfume they were wearing or the flowers beside Our Lady's Statue. It wasn't, as far as we could tell. One person realised it was the Feast of St Therese of Lisieux (traditional feast/Latin Mass calendar) and suggested that it may have been St Therese. It was not anyone's scent that we could find or trace in the room, but letting the matter rest, we went back to begin Our Divine Mercy Chaplet and Crusade prayers. Again as we prayed several of us smelt the perfume again, which came and went, appearing at different places around the room. T smelt it too (near the coffee table under the cuckoo clock) (B) said "someone is there". After prayer time, Mum discussed whether, if it was a sign from St. Therese, that we should adopt her as another patron saint of our prayer group, along with St Benedict. I wanted to ponder the meaning of this sign a little more...and did so on the long journey home. I was convinced that it was a miraculous sign and knew that Jesus promised miracles to His Crusade Prayer Groups, including signs, conversions as well as healings. Towards home I decided to relate the event to my daughter and in doing so, some things occurred to me. MDM had a vision/s of numerous saints at the beginning of her calling by God, that she did not recognise, but Jesus said he was sending them specifically to help her in His Mission. That was what it meant: God had sent a saint to help us in our prayer, as part of His Mission. I have always thought that any sign that occurs to any of us is for the benefit of all of us and must be shared, including with those absent, so I determined to write it down. When I got home, I walked into my bedroom ensuite where I have a Columban calendar with beautiful artwork of Our Lady, on the wall to check the saint of the day. As I looked to the name, St Therese, the perfume occurred to me again, very strongly so it could not be mistaken or ignored, causing great wonder and joy! I rang mum and told her; this was great confirmation. I also resolved more firmly to "tell the others" and put it in writing, especially for the member who was sick. As I had many chores I put it aside till the next day and went to bed. The next day (Friday 4.10.13) was very busy and coming home I was again very busy with chores and had completely forgotten my resolve. But that, apparently, would not do! At the completion of my immediate chores (early evening) I walked into my ensuite and smelt the perfume again! One of my young children came in to find me and I asked her if she also could smell it? She said she could smell flowers and roses. I immediately thought that this was a reminder that I should go and write it down, as I promised, so that others could share this miracle! I don't know whether it was a sign from St Therese, but upon reading her story later that night, it did say that she often sends the scent of roses (or an actual rose) as a miraculous sign of her intercession. I am wondering, was anyone praying through her intercession specifically? (Apart from the whole universal church because it was her feast day!) Further note: * the scent was not like that of the roses that I have previously associated with Our Lady. It was a more subtle, gentler, mixed scent. Faithfully yours, Donna. Xx Blessed be God in His angels and in His saints! RESPONSE sent via return emails on Saturday 5th October by my mum and another prayer group member (C)Donna,

Subject: RE: Miracle for Our Crusade Prayer Group: to be shared
wait to reply when I read the part where Donna asked if anyone had
specifically asked for St Therese’s intercession that day, and as she is
a favourite saint of mine I prayed a lot to her that day as it was her feast
day, I prayed at Mass then at home in the afternoon and I specifically
asked her to send a rose from the heavenly garden as a sign she was
indeed listening, now I am very emotional having read Donna’s letter,
I believe it is indeed a sign that we are not alone and have lots of heavenly
helpers, I have another story about St Therese, I’ll tell you on Thursday
GOD willing, now I’ll read the rest of the emails, thank you so much for
sharing see you all on Thursday, GOD Bless xx
