Readings

Bible:    Psalm 80

Book of Truth: 5 Aug. 2014

Book of Truth: 19 May 2011

Bible Reading

2 O Shepherd of Israel, lend an ear,you who guide Joseph like a flock! Seated upon the cherubim, shine forth- 3 upon Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh. Stir up your power, and come to save us. 4 O God, restore us; light up your face and we shall be saved.

II 5 LORD of hosts, how long will you smolder in anger while your people pray? 6 You have fed them the bread of tears, made them drink tears in great measure. 7 You have left us to be fought over by our neighbors; our enemies deride us. 8 O God of hosts, restore uslight up your face and we shall be saved.

III 9 You brought a vine out of Egypt; you drove out nations and planted it. 10 You cleared out what was before it; it took deep root and filled the land. 11 The mountains were covered by its shadow, the cedars of God by its branches. 12 It sent out its boughs as far as the sea, its shoots as far as the river. 13 Why have you broken down its walls, so that all who pass along the way pluck its fruit? 14 The boar from the forest strips the vine; the beast of the field feeds upon it. 15 Turn back again, God of hosts; look down from heaven and see; Visit this vine,16 the stock your right hand has planted, and the son whom you made strong for yourself. 17 Those who would burn or cut it down — may they perish at your rebuke. 18 May your hand be with the man on your right, with the son of man whom you made strong for yourself. 19 Then we will not withdraw from you; revive us, and we will call on your name. 20 LORD God of hosts, restore us; light up your face and we shall be saved.

Reflection on our Bible Reading:

Psalm 80 is a beautiful prayer crying out to God to rescue His Vineyard. We are that vineyard now; we are His People. But the Church also is the Lord’s Vineyard, planted and built up by His Hand. We are, indeed, His People crying bitter tears, as we watch the walls of His Vineyard broken down (which is the destruction of the Church) and as we hear of just anyone coming along and plucking its fruit; wild beasts grazing…we could not help but think of recent news articles where certain Bishops allow anyone and everyone in an apparent public state of grave sin; unrepentant and emboldened -to partake of the Body of The Lord unworthily; thereby profaning it. It grieves and pains us! We could relate to the psalmist’s pleas.
We also thought the psalm was extremely timely in regards to the release of the post-Amazonian Synod exhortation, which is likely to whip up into another frenzy it’s exhibitionism of Paganism, like the so much poison they drink -and seek to pour forth upon the world- to drown it like a flood!!
We cry with the psalmist, “O God of hosts restore us! Light up Your Face and we shall be saved.” (by Remnant Child of Mary)

Readings from the Book of Truth

Many people declare themselves to be Christians, but they do not love Me

5 August 2014 @ 2:16pm

My dearly beloved daughter, now that the Truth of what is to come has spread, conversion has followed Me everywhere My Prayers for humanity are recited. My Remnant will grow and multiply, as will My enemies. Where My Army goes, the enemies of this Work will follow, relentlessly. Fighting, kicking and spitting venom, you will know them by the evil, which spills from their mouths. You will know My own by the way in which they will be vilified in My Name.

You must never lose courage in the face of hatred. You must understand who is at work in these cases and not acknowledge him, for then you simply empower him. The evil one’s influence over God’s children is manifested and witnessed by the divisions which are separating nations; murders; persecution and the attempts made to wipe out Christianity.

Many people declare themselves to be Christians, but they do not love Me. They insult Me and cause Me great shame. They judge others harshly and feel no guilt or remorse when they slander others – only a burning desire to promote hatred. Cowards, all of those who hide behind a veil of religious piety and dare to declare whether  or not another human being is fit to serve Me. They dare to dictate to others their knowledge of what they think it means to be a Christian, when they are so full of hatred for Me. You must never engage with a man with hatred in his heart, when he says he speaks in My Name. Ignore him. Pray for him. For if you truly love Me, you will show compassion for everyone. You will not judge another; slander him; spread lies about him and then dare to say you are of Me. Away from Me. Soon you will come before Me and be asked to account for your actions.

Christianity is the life force, which sustains the world. I Am the Light, which divided night and day and without Me, you would grapple in the dark. Come with Me, as I called you – or not at all.

Your Jesus

Responsibility of Parents in the world today

19 May 2011 @ 6:15pm

My dearly beloved daughter, the world has now succumbed to the depths of utter despair in its lack of belief in the Existence of God the Father Almighty. Even little children now gleefully deny His Existence. Those empty, hardened souls insult not only My Eternal Father, but cause Me deep anguish.

So far have you fallen, children, that you have completely discarded all sense of the spirituality that you were born with. How far do you think your love of the world and its materialism will take you? For those of you engrossed in wealth and the comforts of all worldly attractions, you should know that they will soon be taken away from you as part of the Purification ahead.

Responsibility of parents
Why do you teach your children the importance of man-made materialism at the expense of their poor, little souls? Your primary aim is to teach your children the importance of creating and building wealth. You rarely teach them the morals they need to equip themselves with the responsibilities for adulthood, in relation to how they should show respect for others, to understand the importance of honesty and the need to show understanding towards their brothers and sisters. Unfortunately My children have completely lost their way on the spiritual path required for them to reach the ultimate destination. Have you no shame? When will you learn that your obsessive love of money and all that it offers will end in disaster? It will only be when you are stripped naked of these comforts you crave that you will realise how alone you are.

Listen to Me now while you can. Place your family’s needs first, for that is good. Provide for them. But please do not encourage your children to become slaves to wealth and a desire for fame, for you will be pushing them into the arms of Satan. Your children were born and given life by you physically, but they were Created by God the Eternal Father, when they were given their souls. By all means show responsibility as a parent by providing for your children’s physical needs. But remember that their souls need nourishment. Teach them the Truth of My Teachings and the importance of looking after their souls. Only then will you be giving your children the true nourishment in body and mind that they need to survive, so they can enjoy eternal life.

Your loving Divine Saviour
Jesus Christ

The FP/PF and his “New Humanism”: Prophecies spell it out in detail

AM+DGFP/PF announcd a “global event” in May to discuss a “new humanism”.

He actually mentioned this last year. I guess the “New evangelisation” probably goes hand in hand with this. (but I’m sure he’s saving this for later.) If you missed our posts last year on Pope Francis, Humanism, its links and what it means, see:

https://remnantdisciplesjtm.com/2019/09/24/connecting-the-dots-part-1-the-new-humanism-and-pope-frances/

https://remnantdisciplesjtm.com/2019/09/26/connecting-the-dots-part-2-humanism-and-its-links/

https://remnantdisciplesjtm.com/2019/09/28/connecting-the-dots-part-4-the-new-humanism-errors-and-prophecy/

https://remnantdisciplesjtm.com/2019/09/22/new-humanism-our-lady-of-la-salette-st-francis-of-assisi/

On his announcement on the event to be held in May, one of Tony M’s friends (David) commented on the FP and his announcement of the “New Humanism”. Our articles (see links above)  also connected this to messages in the Book of Truth. Everything connected with the End Times is in this book and Jesus tells us what to expect. David has compiled a very extensive list of quotes, some of which I have dealt with in our previous posts (see links above). Take David’s advice and read then all in full.

You can access these messages at: https://missionofsalvation.com/  (and a few other places). Just go to the site, then “messages” and search for the date. The messages are all in chronological order.

David’s  says:

“You have all no doubt heard of the meeting the FP Bergoglio has called for in Rome this coming May.  May 14, 2020 to be exact. His call to establish a “new humanism” surprises some, goes right over the heads of others, but does not surprise in the least those of us who are blessed to have studied the messages in the Book of Truth.

In his rambling 500 word announcement (in which there was not a single mention of Jesus or God), Bergoglio said “We need a global compact on education aimed at developing a new universal solidarity and a new humanism. So, I wish to endorse a global event to take place on May 14, 2020.”  If you have not read this announcement, you should to have additional context.

Occasionally, something Bergoglio says prompts me, as it might you, to look to see what the Book of Truth says about it. I did so in the case of this announcement, using the word “humanism.” Not surprisingly, there are 14 Book of Truth messages which include this word.  As with any of the Book of Truth messages, it is nearly impossible to take any single part, out of context of the entire message, but nevertheless I have done so below. To the surprise of none of us, the messages we see in the Book of Truth stands in stark contrast to what Bergoglio is calling for, as proven in these excerpts:

Excerpts of messages on “Humanism”

December 25, 2014:  Jesus:  Humanism is an affront to God because it focuses on man’s needs and not the need to repent of sin before the Creator of all that is.

August 8, 2014:  Mother of Salvation: Humanism will become the substitute for Christianity where no mention of God will be uttered

June 27, 2014:  Jesus: My Church, when it divides and falls, will embrace humanism with great relish

July 27, 2013:  Jesus: Look behind the mask of humanism and you will not find signs of God…Be careful when you embrace humanism, because when you do, you cut yourselves off from Me.

March 4, 2015: Jesus: Confusion does not come from Me. My Word is clear, My Teachings infinite. Humanity has embraced humanism and atheism as a substitute for Me.

June 30, 2014: Jesus: You will betray Me; deny Me and embrace My enemies, for you will be so caught up in the new religion – the secular humanism, which will come as a wolf dressed in sheep’s clothing to devour you – that I will be forgotten.

June 28, 2014: Mother of Salvation: Many new rules will be introduced into my Son’s Church on Earth, as thousands of newcomers will be sworn into the Church and they will not be authentic, for they will not have the True Spirit of Christ within their hearts. They will enter the Church and will bear witness to a new one world religion, which will not honour my Son, Jesus Christ. Not only will they not serve Him, their duty will be to serve the needs of humanism, which will, at its very core, deny the Existence of the Supernatural State of God and all that He stands for.

June 6, 2014: Mother of Salvation: (regarding the “new book” to be published) It will be everything that is the opposite to the True Word of God. It will be a book, which sets out to evangelise the world into believing in the importance of humanism.

April 18, 2014: Jesus: My Crosses will begin to disappear and while My Churches, and those who say they serve Me, talk about the importance of humanism, you will not hear talk of the importance of surrendering to Me, Jesus Christ, your Saviour.

December 10, 2013: Jesus: …how it pains Me to see so many people accept the false humility, which lies behind the humanism, which is so favoured by those in My Church. When did you, who call yourselves servants of God, decide to replace the True Word of God with your own flawed interpretation of it? When did you decide to replace Christianity with humanism, where no mention is made of Me? “(David’s note: In Bergoglio’s announcement he made NO MENTION of Jesus.)

November 9, 2013: Jesus: They will use the message of humanism, love of one another, in terms of your ability to look after the poor, uneducated and needy, as a substitute for the Truth you were given in the Gospels.

June 3, 2013: Jesus: Most importantly, it (Paganism) will be presented as being harmless fun for those who dabble in new age practices and as being an important part of personal development – a form of humanism and love of self.

May 19, 2013: Jesus: It will be presented to the world as a new form of social justice – a new form of humanism, when all the needs of man are catered for. These needs will include the right to sin, but these sins will, in defiance of God, be seen to be the moral rights of man.

March 29, 2013: Jesus: Showing concern for the needs of fellow human beings is admirable.  But when you promote the physical well-being of the needs of man over their spiritual needs it is not I, Jesus Christ, you follow. Humanism is not Christianity.

I strongly recommend reading the above messages in their entirety. Especially in the lead-up to this meeting in Rome on May 14. Also, I recommend reading Bergoglio’s entire 500-word announcement. This will certainly be a difficult moment for the Church, especially in the wake of what is expected in the final document on the Amazonian “synod” which should be out within the next couple of weeks.

God bless,

David.”

Corona Virus: What is the real agenda?

AM+DG

Previous Posts:

On 1st Feb, 2020 and 2nd Feb., we posted articles on the Corona virus and its connection with prophecy and the end times. We focussed on whether this would be the cause or the precursor of the “global vaccination”  as foretold in the Book of Truth.

Read the previous articles here:

https://remnantdisciplesjtm.com/2020/02/01/the-corona-virus-evil-endgame-part1/

https://remnantdisciplesjtm.com/2020/02/02/corona-virus-evil-endgame-part-2/  posted Feb. 2

FP/PF and the UN’s Sustainable Goals:

We know that Pope Francis signed the 28 Sustainable Goals of the UN. These “goals are strategies with which to ensure that the earth continues to “sustain” us- that we do not deplete the earth of it’s resources. To people of Faith, we know that this could never be – We have a loving God who created the earth to sustain the creatures He also created.

We know that this agenda is one of control of the world by the elite:  creating a “one-world government” and a “one-world religion”. The Alta Vendita attested to this (back in the 1800’s )- they were just waiting for a pope to be elected “according to their needs”. Their enemy is the Catholic Church. The demolition of the church, the removal of its true Shepherd has begun in earnest. “Amoris Laetitia” has affected the Sacraments of Marriage, Penance and even Holy Orders. “Laudato Si” has been the vehicle by which paganism was introduced into the Church and by which Holy Orders will be further destroyed (married priests and perhaps even women priests). This pope’s goals are communistic – he himself boasted of a “new humanism” and a “new evangelisation”. We are awaiting what the “new Mass” (which they have been planning for a while now) will be like. Will it be the “abomination of desolation” which Daniel the prophet spoke of?

His other encyclicals have also provided the groundwork for his plans to be easily put into place.

UN Sustainable Goal – Depopulation

One of the 28 Sustainable Goals, which PF/FP signed is for depopulation supporting policies of contraception, abortion, euthanasia. At any other time in History, everyone would be up in arms against a pope who supported such diabolical goals against God’s people. These laws are already in place in governments around the world. Recognition of divorce and remarriage by the Church, and recognition of same-sex couples as well as all the other “rights” such as transgenderism, has destroyed the family as the centre of society. It will be an easy thing to combine as one, the “new one-world government” and the “new one-world religion.” After all, we have a pope who immerses himself in politics.

Now, besides the laws listed above, how else do you get rid of a large proportion of the world’s population?

How about disease? In our previous articles on the Coronavirus, we mentioned a “Bio-lab” located in Wuhan. What a co-incidence that the virus started here.

New information:

We wrote previously about the “bio lab” located in Wuhan, China. There has also been evidence that the Coronavirus was man-made. Really? Well it wouldn’t be the first time.  An eminent scientist, who, according to his credentials knows what he is talking about, has claimed that it is a “bioweapon” and that the UN knows about it. The article (see https://www.zerohedge.com/health/creator-bioweapons-act-says-coronavirus-biological-warfare-weapon ) states:

The Wuhan BSL-4 lab is also a specially designated World Health Organization (WHO) research  lab and Dr. Boyle contends that the WHO knows full well what is occurring.”

Dr. Francis Boyle, who drafted the Biological Weapons Act has given a detailed statement admitting that the 2019 Wuhan Coronavirus is an offensive Biological Warfare Weapon and that the World Health Organization (WHO) already knows about it.”

(Read the whole article with Dr Boyle’s claims, studies and other investigations at the link mentioned.)

Now, you might say that a vaccine will help. But it usually takes years to develop a vaccine – right? Well I guess we will see. In our last article, we shared information that a vaccine had actually been patented back in 2015. This scientist states that it is a “bio-weapon”. If this is true, it would be compatible with the UN’s 28 Sustainable Goals agenda. Perhaps it is and perhaps it isn’t. Perhaps the vaccine will be worse.

Prophecy:

In the Book of Truth, Jesus tells us of a “world-wide vaccination” that will kill us. Will this Coronavirus instil so much fear into people that they will eagerly accept a vaccine? A vaccine that will create disease”?

“My dearly beloved daughter the plans of the Masonic groups to take over the world currencies are getting close to completion. Their wicked plans also include a new global vaccination which will create disease all over the world to cause suffering on a scale never seen before. Avoid any such sudden global vaccination announced for it will kill you. –( June 17th, 2012 ) https://missionofsalvation.com/Message-0461/

“They will introduce a form of genocide, through compulsory vaccinations, against your children with or without your permission. This vaccination will be a poison and will be presented under a global healthcare plan”. (9 Nov. 2012: https://missionofsalvation.com/Message-0608/

As you can see in the prophecies above, Jesus warns us against the vaccine– rather than the disease!

Precedent for general vaccination

There is a precedent about forcing people to vaccinate. Jesus tells us in the Book of Truth that we have allowed our governments to make the laws which in the end,  will be used against us.  A measles epidemic began about Oct. 2019 and was raging in December in a number of Pacific Islands. They blamed the epidemic on the large number of unvaccinated children.

One of the islands was Samoa. The Ministry of Health in each affected country is coordinating response efforts with support from WHO and partners. “On 20 November 2019, Samoan authorities launched a mass vaccination campaign ...” People were forbidden to leave their houses, while Medical workers came round to each house to vaccinate everyone in the house. The epidemic was blamed on “antivaccers”. Social media (posted on 28 Dec. 2019) tells us that:

“In Samoa, a mandatory mass vaccination campaign is happening right now with the order not to publicly question vaccine safety and one activist was arrested for giving vitamins A & C to children.

Perhaps it was a test case. Notice the WHO was involved.  It was forced vaccination.

All of us (older people) lived through a time when all children got measles, and chicken pox and mumps. They were just “childhood illnesses.”. They were never considered life-threatening. They were not nice diseases, but parents didn’t fear, because it was normal.

Another side-effect:

It’s interesting how both the secular and religious world are so intertwined right now.  The Pope has signed a UN declaration of “Sustainable goals”. The secular world institutes laws against ‘discrimination’ – the Church recognizes divorce, homosexual couples are blessed and pagan rituals are inserted into catholic ceremonies, rituals and Sacraments-even the Most Holy Sacrifice of the Mass!!

Well now we have an outbreak of a “new” strain of coronavirus that is spreading rapidly. The Bishop of our diocese has ordered that there be no sign of Peace, and no Communion under both kinds the Precious Blood is only for the priest. (Although, personally, I must admit that the latter two are as it should be.) It also seems that most parishes have taken away the holy water, which is an important Sacramental. As well as this, many priests are also refusing to give Communion on the tongue.

Our rights are being abrogated fast. The threat in Australia is not yet big, and is contained, but the fear grows out of proportion. Sadly, this is another attack on the Eucharist. The evil one is clever and cunning!

See the following articles:

Catholics scrap Mass rituals over virus fears”  (Daily Telegraph)
and the “Catholic Outlook” for Diocese of Parramatta:

“… , and after consulting Bishop Vincent the following directives apply in the celebration of Mass in the Diocese of Parramatta from 1 February 2020.

        • In those parishes and communities in the Diocese of Parramatta where Holy Communion is distributed in Both Kinds, this practice will cease. Communion of the Precious Blood will be for the celebrant only.
        • For the time being priests/deacons are not to invite parishioners to exchange the Greeting of Peace.
        • All ministers of Holy Communion (both Ordinary and Extraordinary) are to use hand sanitisers before the distribution of Holy Communion commences.…”

https://catholicoutlook.org/diocese-of-parramatta-update-on-the-coronavirus/

The Church is under attack in more ways than one!

What does all this mean?

It will all be labelled “conspiracy theory” and some of this might well be.

But it would be at our peril that we ignore the potential danger presented by “global vaccination” or “compulsory vaccination”, in the light of these prophecies.

Today, the world is not as it is portrayed.

The main stream Media and world governments are no longer transparent or dependable.

Many of our Church leaders have betrayed us.

All I am saying is we have to pray for discernment and protection!

We have to watch, listen and be attentive.

Don’t be caught unawares.

We have been warned!

Bible Reading

2 Samuel 19: 32-44

David and Barzillai. 32 Barzillai the Gileadite also came down from Rogelim and escorted the king to the Jordan for his crossing, taking leave of him at the Jordan 33 It was Barzillai, a very old man of eighty, who had provided for the king during his stay in Mahanaim; he was a very great man. 34 The king said to Barzillai, “Cross over with me, and I will provide for your old age as my guest in Jerusalem.” 35 But Barzillai answered the king: “How much longer have I to live, that I should go up to Jerusalem with the king? 36 I am now eighty years old. Can I distinguish between good and evil? Can your servant taste what he eats and drinks, or still hear the voices of men and women singers? Why should your servant be any further burden to my lord the king? 37 In escorting the king across the Jordan, your servant is doing little enough! Why should the king give me this reward? 38 Please let your servant go back to die in my own city by the tomb of my father and mother. Here is your servant Chimham. Let him cross over with my lord the king. Do for him whatever seems good to you.” 39 Then the king said to him, “Chimham shall cross over with me, and for him I will do whatever seems good to you. And anything else you would like me to do for you, I will do.” 40 Then all the people crossed over the Jordan but the king remained; he kissed Barzillai and bade him farewell as he returned to his own place. 41 Finally the king crossed over to Gilgal, accompanied by Chimham.

Israel and Judah Quarrel. All of the people of Judah and half of the people of Israel had escorted the king across. 42 But then all these Israelites began coming to the king and saying, “Why did our brothers the Judahites steal you away and bring the king and his household across the Jordan, along with all David’s men?” 43 All the Judahites replied to the men of Israel: “Because the king is our relative. Why are you angry over this? Have we had anything to eat at the king’s expense? Or have portions from his table been given to us?” 44 The Israelites answered the Judahites: “We have ten shares in the king. Also, we are the firstborn rather than you. Why do you slight us? Were we not first to speak of restoring our king?” Then the Judahites in turn spoke even more fiercely than the Israelites.

Mother of Salvation: These apparitions will begin this Spring, as my Son has instructed

24 January 2014 @ 8:05pm

My dear child, let it be known that I will make one more appearance at all the Marian grottos, which were approved by my Son’s Church, over the centuries.

I will make myself known in Sacred sites, which will include Lourdes, Fatima, La Salette and Guadalupe. I will also appear at Garabandal. These apparitions will begin this Spring, just as my Son has instructed.

Mother of SalvationI will be seen, by chosen souls, with the sun behind my head. There will be twelve stars encircled and woven around the crown of thorns, which was worn by my Son during His Crucifixion, placed upon my head, as a sign for all to follow my example. My role is to lead all of God’s children along the Path of Truth and take them to my Son.

When these apparitions take place, there will be no doubt, especially amongst those who pay homage to me, that I speak the Truth when I say that soon the final Path, which will bring you to my Son, in these the end times, will be through the Book of Truth.

When you follow me, your Mother, I will take you and guide you towards my Son. My Son has promised many miracles, so that He can open your eyes to the prophecies He gave the world, through my own Mission. Many do not accept that I appeared at these special apparition sites and dismiss their importance in the salvation of souls.

When I appear one last time at these sites and present myself as the Mother of Salvation, you will know then that this Mission is my last and that all apparitions lead to this final one to bring the world the Salvation, which is the birthright of every single person.

Rejoice, for these days are close and when you hear of these things, then know that this prophecy, when fulfilled, could only have come from me, your beloved Mother, the Mother of Salvation, Mother of God.

Your beloved Mother

Mother of Salvation

Ask and you will receive is not an idle promise that I make

3 May 2014 @ 3:50pm

My dearly beloved daughter, when I ask people to trust in Me, this is a very difficult thing, for many people to do. So many find it hard to trust in My Love for humanity, when they rely on their own faith, in order for them to surrender completely to Me. It is only when you fully surrender yourselves, into My care, can you feel safe, protected and at peace.

My Love, when sought out by you, will cover you, when you hold out your arms and call out to Me as a little child.  Children place all their trust in their parents, when they are little. They know only the difference between what feels right and what feels wrong and so they rely completely on the adult to protect them. Children do not think twice about running to their parents for comfort and to seek refuge. The faith of a child is strong. He does not question, for he believes, truly that he will find safety in the arms of a loving parent.

I Am to be trusted, for all that is asked of Me will be done, if it is for the good of the soul. Ask and you will receive is not an idle promise that I make. I relish the Act of lavishing My Gifts upon each one of you. When you ask Me to help you, I hear, feel and respond to all that you desire. Allow Me the chance to prove My Love for each of you. Let Me show you the proof of My Intervention. It is at this time of existence, that I, Jesus Christ, will make My Presence known in all that you ask of Me. It is at this time, that I will enable you to feel My Presence, witness My Great Acts of Intervention in your daily lives and to understand the power of your prayers. For these are the days of great miracles, which I bequeath to humanity, more than at any other time, since I walked the Earth.

When you truly place all your trust in Me, I can work great miracles to bring you, not only relief from suffering, but to draw you even closer to My Sacred Heart. When a child knows that a parent loves him, he feels secure in the knowledge that he is protected. Know that by trusting in Me, I protect you all and I will flood each of your souls with a deep sense of peace, which you will find nowhere else on this Earth.

Come to Me today and call on Me to help youno matter what worries you may have. Recite this special Prayer, every time you are in distress, and I will respond every single time.

Crusade Prayer (148) Come to my aid:

O my Jesus, help me, in my time of great distress. Hold me in Your Arms and take me into the Refuge of Your Heart. Wipe away my tears. Calm my resolve. Lift my spirits and fill me with Your Peace. Please grant me this special request (mention it here…). Come to my aid, so that my request is answered and that my life can become peaceful and in union with You, dear Lord. If my request cannot be granted, then fill me with the Grace to accept that Your Holy Will is for the good of my soul and that I will remain faithful to Your Word, forever, with a kind and gracious heart. Amen.

Always call to Me, whenever you are sorrowful or in need of help and I promise that you will be given a sign that I have responded to your cry to Me, your beloved Saviour.

Your Jesus

Pope Benedict Vs. Francis: Part 17 (final)

AM+DG

The English Denzinger site (which was run by (20) priests, and which (strangely??) has not been active for a few years, was invaluable and priceless in terms of comparing everything Francis claimed to what authentic Church Teaching says.

The following is an example of one article I had saved. It is very long, so I will post just a few bits every day. The following continues from yesterday’s post.

Benedict XVI…

…judges Francis’ idea that the Church should not be a Point of Reference

  • The Church is always enlightened by the presence of Christ

And since the glory of God is Love, the heavenly Jerusalem is the icon of the Church, utterly holy and glorious, without spot or wrinkle (cf. Eph 5:27), permeated at her heart and in every part of her by the presence of the God who is Love. She is called a ‘bride’, ‘the bride of the Lamb’ (Rev 20:9), […] The City and Bride is the locus of God’s full communion with humanity; She has no need of a temple or of any external source of light, because the indwelling presence of God and of the Lamb illuminates her from within. (Benedict XVI. Holy Mass for the inauguration of the Fifth General Conference of the Bishops of Latin America and the Caribbean, May 13, 2007)

…judges Francis’ idea on the Re-reading of the Gospel

  • The great risk involved in reading the Gospel without the light of faith

Another major theme that emerged during the Synod, to which I would now like to draw attention, is the interpretation of sacred Scripture in the Church. The intrinsic link between the word and faith makes clear that authentic biblical hermeneutics can only be had within the faith of the Church, which has its paradigm in Mary’s fiat. Saint Bonaventure states that without faith there is no key to throw open the sacred text: ‘This is the knowledge of Jesus Christ, from whom, as from a fountain, flow forth the certainty and the understanding of all sacred Scripture. Therefore it is impossible for anyone to attain to knowledge of that truth unless he first have infused faith in Christ, which is the lamp, the gate and the foundation of all Scripture’ (Breviloquium, Prol.). And Saint Thomas Aquinas, citing Saint Augustine, insists that ‘the letter, even that of the Gospel, would kill, were there not the inward grace of healing faith’ (STh, I-II, q.106, a.2). (Benedict XVI, Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation Verbum Domini, no. 29, September 30, 2010)

  • Scripture sheds light on human existence

The word of God sheds light on human existence and stirs our conscience to take a deeper look at our lives, inasmuch as all human history stands under God’s judgment. (Benedict XVI, Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation Verbum Domini, no. 99, September 30, 2010)

  • The Word of God should be an inspiration for temporal authorities

In the light of the Lord’s words, let us discern the ‘signs of the times’ present in history, and not flee from a commitment to those who suffer and the victims of forms of selfishness. The Synod recalled that a commitment to justice and to changing our world is an essential element of evangelization.[…] For this reason, the Synod Fathers wished to say a special word to all those who take part in political and social life. Evangelization and the spread of God’s word ought to inspire their activity in the world, as they work for the true common good in respecting and promoting the dignity of every person. (Benedict XVI, Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation Verbum Domini, no. 100, September 30, 2010)

…judges Francis’ idea on happiness

  • Jesus is the happiness we seek

Dear young people, the happiness you are seeking, the happiness you have a right to enjoy has a name and a face: it is Jesus of Nazareth, hidden in the Eucharist. Only he gives the fullness of life to humanity! […] I repeat today what I said at the beginning of my Pontificate: ‘If we let Christ into our lives, we lose nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing of what makes life free, beautiful and great. No! Only in this friendship are the doors of life opened wide. Only in this friendship is the great potential of human existence truly revealed. Only in this friendship do we experience beauty and liberation’ (Homily at the Mass of Inauguration, 24 April, 2005). Be completely convinced of this: Christ takes from you nothing that is beautiful and great, but brings everything to perfection for the glory of God, the happiness of men and women, and the salvation of the world. (Benedict XVI. Address on the Celebration of welcoming the young people on the occasion of the XX World Youth Day, August 18, 2005)

  • The example of Saint Francis: only the Infinite can fill the human heart

‘Francis was always happy and generous, dedicated to play and song, roaming through the town of Assisi day and night with friends like him, spend-thrifts, dissipating all that they could have or earn on lunches and other things’ (3 LTC 1, 2). Of how many of today’s youth could something similar be said? […] In that way of living there was the desire for happiness that dwells in every human heart. But could that life bring true joy? Francis certainly did not find it. You yourselves, dear young people, can verify this beginning with your experience. The truth is that finite things can give only a faint idea of joy, but only the Infinite can fill the heart.  (Benedict XVI, Speech, Meeting with Youth in Assisi, June 17, 2007)

  • Bishops have the duty to point out the world’s inability to bring true joy

Like the wise householder who brings forth from his treasure ‘what is new and what is old’(Mt 13:52), your people need to view the changes in society with discernment, and here they look to you for leadership. Help them to recognize the inability of the secular, materialist culture to bring true satisfaction and joy. Be bold in speaking to them of the joy that comes from following Christ and living according to his commandments. Remind them that our hearts were made for the Lord and that they find no peace until they rest in him (cf. St. Augustine, Confessions, 1:1). (Benedict XVI, Address to the Bishops of Ireland on their Ad Limina Visit, 28 October, 2006)

  • The secret of happiness consists in putting God in first place

God loves us: this is the source of true joy. Even if one has all he or she wants, one can sometimes be unhappy; on the other hand, one can be deprived of everything, even freedom or health, and be in peace and joy if God is in his or her heart. Thus, the secret is this: God must always have first place in our life. (Benedict XVI. Speech on the visit to Rome’s prison for minors Casal del Marmo, March 18, 2007)

  • The Eucharist is the source of Christian joy

Where is the source of Christian joy to be found if not in the Eucharist, which Christ left us as spiritual Food while we are pilgrims on this earth? The Eucharist nurtures in believers of every epoch that deep joy which makes us one with love and peace and originates from communion with God and with our brothers and sisters. (Benedict XVI. Angelus, March 18, 2007)

  • True joy comes from Christ’s Cross

True joy is something different from pleasure; joy grows and continues to mature in suffering, in communion with the Cross of Christ. It is here alone that the true joy of faith is born. (Benedict XVI. Address to the priests of the Diocese of Aosta, 25, July 2005)

  • Observing the Commandments is the path to happiness

God wants us to be happy. That is why he gave us specific directions for the journey of life: the commandments. If we observe them, we will find the path to life and happiness. At first glance, they might seem to be a list of prohibitions and an obstacle to our freedom. But if we study them more closely, we see in the light of Christ’s message that the commandments are a set of essential and valuable rules leading to a happy life in accordance with God’s plan. (Benedict XVI. Message for the Twenty-Seventh World Youth Day, no. 5, March 15, 2012)

  • Blessed are they who obey the word of God

This close relationship between God’s word and joy is evident in the Mother of God. Let us recall the words of Saint Elizabeth: ‘Blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her by the Lord’ (Lk 1:45). Mary is blessed because she has faith, because she believed, and in this faith she received the Word of God into her womb in order to give him to the world. The joy born of the Word can now expand to all those who, by faith, let themselves be changed by God’s word. The Gospel of Luke presents this mystery of hearing and joy in two texts. Jesus says: ‘My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it’ (Lk 8:21). And in reply to a woman from the crowd who blesses the womb that bore him and the breasts that nursed him, Jesus reveals the secret of true joy: ‘Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it!’ (Lk 11:28). (Benedict XVI. Apostolic Exhortation Verbum Domini, no. 124, September 30, 2010)

…judges Francis’ idea on Ascetism and silence in the Spiritual Exercises

  •  It is necessary to educate the faithful in the value of silence and recollection

Ours is not an age which fosters recollection; at times one has the impression that people are afraid of detaching themselves, even for a moment, from the mass media. For this reason, it is necessary nowadays that the People of God be educated in the value of silence. Rediscovering the centrality of God’s word in the life of the Church also means rediscovering a sense of recollection and inner repose. (Benedict XVI, Apostolic Exhortation Verbum Domini, no. 66, September 30, 2010)

…judges Francis’ idea of fraternal love

  • Fraternal correction heals wounds

The Gospel text […] tells us that brotherly love also involves a sense of mutual responsibility. For this reason if my brother commits a sin against me I must treat him charitably and first of all, speak to him privately, pointing out that what he has said or done is wrong. This approach is known as ‘fraternal correction’: it is not a reaction to the offence suffered but is motivated by love for one’s brethren. St Augustine comments: ‘Whoever has offended you, in offending you, has inflicted a serious injury upon himself; and would you not care for a brother’s injury?… You must forget the offence you have received but not the injury of one of your brethren’ (Discourse 82, 7). And what if my brother does not listen to me? In today’s Gospel Jesus points to a gradual approach: first, speak to him again with two or three others, the better to help him realize what he has done; if, in spite of this, he still refuses to listen, it is necessary to tell the community; and if he refuses to listen even to the community, he must be made to perceive that he has cut himself off by separating himself from the communion of the Church. All this demonstrates that we are responsible for each other in the journey of Christian life; each person, aware of his own limitations and shortcomings, is called to accept fraternal correction and to help others with this specific service. (Benedict XVI. Angelus, September 4, 2011)

  • When faced with evil we should not keep silence, since correction is a work of mercy

The Scriptures tell us: ‘Rebuke the wise and he will love you for it. Be open with the wise, he grows wiser still, teach the upright, he will gain yet more’ (Prov 9:8). Christ himself commands us to admonish a brother who is committing a sin (cf. Mt 18:15). The Church’s tradition has included ‘admonishing sinners’ among the spiritual works of mercy. It is important to recover this dimension of Christian charity. We must not remain silent before evil. I am thinking of all those Christians who, out of human regard or purely personal convenience, adapt to the prevailing mentality, rather than warning their brothers and sisters against ways of thinking and acting that are contrary to the truth and that do not follow the path of goodness. Christian admonishment, for its part, is never motivated by a spirit of accusation or recrimination. It is always moved by love and mercy, and springs from genuine concern for the good of the other. As the Apostle Paul says: ‘If one of you is caught doing something wrong, those of you who are spiritual should set that person right in a spirit of gentleness; and watch yourselves that you are not put to the test in the same way’ (Gal 6:1).
In a world pervaded by individualism, it is essential to rediscover the importance of fraternal correction, so that together we may journey towards holiness. […] Apostle Paul encourages us to seek ‘the ways which lead to peace and the ways in which we can support one another’ (Rom 14:19) for our neighbour’s good, ‘so that we support one another’ (Rom 15:2), seeking not personal gain but rather ‘the advantage of everybody else, so that they may be saved’ (1 Cor 10:33). This mutual correction and encouragement in a spirit of humility and charity must be part of the life of the Christian community. (Benedict XVI, Message for Lent 2012, November 3, 2011)

  • God grants pardon so that in future one ceases to sin

St Augustine in his Commentary observed:  ‘The Lord did also condemn, but condemned sins, not man. For if he were a patron of sin, he would say, ‘neither will I condemn you; go, live as you will; be secure in my deliverance; however much you sin, I will deliver you from all punishment’. He said not this (Io Ev. tract. 33, 6). […] Therefore, we understand that our real enemy is attachment to sin, which can lead us to failure in our lives. Jesus sent the adulterous woman away with this recommendation:  ‘Go, and do not sin again’. He forgives her so that ‘from now on’ she will sin no more. (Benedict XVI. Visit to the Roman Parish of Saint Felicity and her Children, Martyrs, March 25, 2007)

  • Habits linked to sin do not create a new world

Saint Luke remarks first of all that the people ‘were in expectation’ (Lk 3: 15). In this way he emphasizes the expectation of Israel and, in those people who had left their homes and their usual tasks, the profound desire for a different world and new words that seem to find an answer precisely in the Precursor’s words that may be severe and demanding and yet are full of hope. The baptism John offers is one of repentance, a sign that is an invitation to conversion, to a change of life, because One is coming who will ‘baptize with the Holy Spirit and with fire’ (Lk 3:16). Indeed it is impossible to aspire to a new world while remaining immersed in selfishness and habits linked to sin. (Benedict XVI. Homily on the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, January 10, 2010)

…judges Francis’ idea of the Roman Curia

  • Valuable contribution to the Petrine Ministry

Our community, as you emphasized, Your Eminence, is truly a “working community”, bound by bonds of fraternal love which the Christmas festivities help to reinforce. In this spirit, you did not omit an appropriate mention of the former members of our Curial family who crossed the threshold of time in recent months and have entered into God’s peace. On such an occasion it does our hearts good to feel close to those who shared the service to the Church with us and who now intercede for us at God’s throne. I therefore thank you for your words, Your Eminence, Dean of the College of Cardinals, and I thank everyone present for the contribution that each one makes to the fulfilment of the ministry entrusted to me by the Lord. (Benedict XVI. Address to the Members of the Roman Curia, December 21, 2007)

  • Appreciated collaboration

This morning, the family of the Roman Curia also comes together, following a fine custom which gives us the joy of meeting and exchanging greetings in this special spiritual milieu. To each of you I offer a cordial greeting, full of gratitude for your valued collaboration with the ministry of the Successor of Peter. (Benedict XVI. Address to the Members of the Roman Curia, December 22, 2008)

  • Superior service rendered to the successor of Peter

This meeting gives me the opportunity to reaffirm my esteem and respect for your lofty service to the Successor of Peter and to the whole Church, while for you it is an incentive to ever greater commitment in a context that is indeed arduous, but invaluable for the salvation of souls. The principle that the salus animarum is the supreme law in the Church (cf. CIC, can. 1752) must indeed be borne in mind and every day must find in your work the strict respect that it merits. (Benedict XVI. Address for the Inauguration of the Judicial Year of the Roman Rota, January 26, 2013)

  • The Church of Rome has a special privilege due to the blood of the Apostles

It is a symbol of the special mission of Peter and his Successors to tend Christ’s flock, keeping it united in faith and in charity. At the beginning of the second century St Ignatius of Antioch attributed a special primacy to the Church which is in Rome, greeting her in his Letter to the Romans as the one which ‘presides in charity’. It is because the Apostles Peter and Paul, together with many other martyrs, poured out their blood in this City, that this special task of service depends on the Community of Rome and on its Bishop. Let us, thus, return to the witness of blood and of charity. The Chair of Peter is therefore the sign of authority, but of Christ’s authority, based on faith and on love. (Benedict XVI. Angelus, February 19, 2012)

…judges Francis’ ideas on Peace

  • Without an Acceptance of God There Will Be No Peace for Humanity

Consequently, it is essential that we should all be committed to living our lives in an attitude of responsibility before God, acknowledging him as the deepest source of our own existence and that of others. By going back to this supreme principle we are able to perceive the unconditional worth of each human being, and thus to lay the premises for building a humanity at peace. Without this transcendent foundation society is a mere aggregation of neighbours, not a community of brothers and sisters called to form one great family. (Benedict XVI, Message for the Celebration of the World Day of Peace, January 1, 2008)

  • Peace is a Gift of God that Demands a Personal Response Consistent with God’s Plan

Likewise, peace is both gift and task. If it is true that peace between individuals and peoples—the ability to live together and to build relationships of justice and solidarity—calls for unfailing commitment on our part, it is also true, and indeed more so, that peace is a gift from God. Peace is an aspect of God’s activity, made manifest both in the creation of an orderly and harmonious universe and also in the redemption of humanity that needs to be rescued from the disorder of sin. Creation and Redemption thus provide a key that helps us begin to understand the meaning of our life on earth. My venerable predecessor Pope John Paul II, addressing the General Assembly of the United Nations on October 5, 1995, stated that “we do not live in an irrational or meaningless world… there is a moral logic which is built into human life and which makes possible dialogue between individuals and peoples.” The transcendent “grammar”, that is to say the body of rules for individual action and the reciprocal relationships of persons in accordance with justice and solidarity, is inscribed on human consciences, in which the wise plan of God is reflected. As I recently had occasion to reaffirm: “we believe that at the beginning of everything is the Eternal Word, Reason and not Unreason.” Peace is thus also a task demanding of everyone a personal response consistent with God’s plan. The criterion inspiring this response can only be respect for the “grammar” written on human hearts by the divine Creator. (Benedict XVI. Message for the Celebration of the World Day of Peace, January 1, 2007)

…judges Francis’ idea on whether the Lord always Pardons…

  • The certainty of God’s pardon is not an excuse to fail to seek sanctity

Even when we have to struggle continually with the same failings, it is important to resist the coarsening of our souls and the indifference which would simply accept that this is the way we are. It is important to keep pressing forward, without scrupulosity, in the grateful awareness that God forgives us ever anew – yet also without the indifference that might lead us to abandon altogether the struggle for holiness and self-improvement. (Benedict XVI. Letter to Seminarians, n.3, October 18, 2010)

  • Priests should educate the faithful about the radical requirements of the Gospel

The discussed “crisis” of the Sacrament of Penance, frequently calls into question priests first of all and their great responsibility to teach the People of God the radical requirements of the Gospel. In particular, it asks them to dedicate themselves generously to hearing sacramental confessions; to guide the flock courageously so that it does not conform to the mindset of this world (cf. Rom 12:2) but may even be able to make decisions that run counter to the tide, avoiding adjustments and compromises. (Benedict XVI. Speech to Participants in the Internal Forum Course Organized by the Apostolic Penitentiary, March 11, 2010)

  • He who repents, receives pardon and the strength to sin no more

Jesus sent the adulterous woman away with this recommendation: ‘Go, and do not sin again’. He forgives her so that ‘from now on’ she will sin no more. In a similar episode, that of the repentant woman, a former sinner whom we come across in Luke’s Gospel (cf. Lk 7:36-50), he welcomed a woman who had repented and sent her peacefully on her way. Here, instead, the adulterous woman simply receives an unconditional pardon. In both cases – for the repentant woman sinner and for the adulterous woman – the message is the same. In one case it is stressed that there is no forgiveness without the desire for forgiveness, without opening the heart to forgiveness; here it is highlighted that only divine forgiveness and divine love received with an open and sincere heart give us the strength to resist evil and ‘to sin no more’, to let ourselves be struck by God’s love so that it becomes our strength. (Benedict XVI. Homily, visit to the Roman Parish of St. Felicity and her children, Martyrs, Sunday, 25 March 2007)

  • Confession is not only an instrument of pardon, but also of sanctification

Then there is a close connection between holiness and the Sacrament of Reconciliation, witnessed by all the saints of history. The real conversion of our hearts, which means opening ourselves to God’s transforming and renewing action, is the “driving force” of every reform and is expressed in a real evangelizing effort. In confession, through the freely bestowed action of divine Mercy, repentant sinners are justified, pardoned and sanctified and abandon their former selves to be reclothed in the new.(Benedict XVI. To participants in a course organized by the Apostolic Penitentiary, 9 March 2012)

This is the final part of this series.

I am not sure if the link above still works, but the site itself is still accessible (see link below), but without some of these articles.

This was only a tiny example of the immense work these priests did. The original website, was very comprehensive and for each wrong step of Francis, the article they wrote would include  information from Church teachings, previous popes and saints, etc

You can still find the website at: https://en-denzingerbergoglio.com/

However, some links no longer work (e.g.”160 queries about Bergoglio”) but much information is still archived on it.

Pope Benedict Vs. Francis: Part 16

+++++++++++++++++++++++++

Benedict XVI…

…judges Francis’ idea on absolute truth

  • Love, caritas, originates in Absolute Truth

Love — caritas — is an extraordinary force which leads people to opt for courageous and generous engagement in the field of justice and peace. It is a force that has its origin in God, Eternal Love and Absolute Truth. (Benedict XVI. Encyclical, Caritatis in Veritate, June 29, 2009)

…judges Francis’ idea on new customs among today’s youth

  • Jesus’ mercy was not expressed by putting moral law in parentheses – mercy does not change the nature of sin and demands correspondence

To avoid any misunderstanding, it should be noted that Jesus’ mercy was not expressed by putting moral law in parentheses. For Jesus, good is good and evil is evil. Mercy does not change the connotations of sin but consumes it in a fire of love. This purifying and healing effect is achieved if within the person there is a corresponding love which implies recognition of God’s law, sincere repentance and the resolution to start a new life. The sinful woman in the Gospel was pardoned greatly because she loved greatly. In Jesus, God comes to give love to us and to ask love of us. (Benedict XVI. Eucharist Concelebration at the Lower Square of the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi, June 17, 2007)

…judges Francis’ idea on God

  • The plenitude of Revelation is found in Jesus Christ – There is no other Word of God

In all of this, the Church gives voice to her awareness that with Jesus Christ she stands before the definitive word of God: he is ‘the first and the last’ (Rev 1:17). He has given creation and history their definitive meaning; and hence we are called to live in time and in God’s creation within this eschatological rhythm of the word; ‘thus the Christian dispensation, since it is the new and definitive covenant, will never pass away; and no new public revelation is to be expected before the glorious manifestation of our Lord Jesus Christ’ (cf. 1Tim 6:14; Tit 2:13) (Dei Verbum, 4). Indeed, as the Fathers noted during the Synod, the ‘uniqueness of Christianity is manifested in the event which is Jesus Christ, the culmination of revelation, the fulfilment of God’s promises and the mediator of the encounter between man and God. He who ‘has made God known’ (Jn 1:18) is the one, definitive word given to mankind’ (Prop. 4). Saint John of the Cross expresses this truth magnificently: ‘Since he has given us his Son, his only word (for he possesses no other), he spoke everything at once in this sole word – and he has no more to say… because what he spoke before to the prophets in parts, he has spoken all at once by giving us this All who is his Son. Any person questioning God or desiring some vision or revelation would be guilty not only of foolish behaviour but also of offending him, by not fixing his eyes entirely on Christ and by living with the desire for some other novelty’ (St. John of the Cross, Ascent of Mount Carmel, II, 22). (Benedict XVI. Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation on the Word of God in the Life and Mission of the Church Verbum Domini, September 30, 2010)

…judges Francis’ idea on First Holy Communion

  • The Church’s faith is essentially a Eucharistic faith

The mystery of faith! With these words, spoken immediately after the words of consecration, the priest proclaims the mystery being celebrated and expresses his wonder before the substantial change of bread and wine into the body and blood of the Lord Jesus, a reality which surpasses all human understanding. The Eucharist is a ‘mystery of faith’ par excellence: ‘the sum and summary of our faith’ (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1327) The Church’s faith is essentially a Eucharistic faith, and it is especially nourished at the table of the Eucharist. […] For this reason, the Sacrament of the Altar is always at the heart of the Church’s life: ‘thanks to the Eucharist, the Church is reborn ever anew!’ (Benedict XVI, Homily at the Mass of Installation in the Cathedral of Rome – 7 May 2005): AAS 97 (2005): 752). The more lively the eucharistic faith of the People of God, the deeper is its sharing in ecclesial life in steadfast commitment to the mission entrusted by Christ to his disciples. (Benedict XVI. Apostolic Exhortation Sacramentum Caritatis, no.6, February 22, 2007)

  • Christ comes to meet men and women, and becomes their food

In the sacrament of the altar, the Lord meets us, men and women created in God’s image and likeness (cf. Gen 1:27), and becomes our companion along the way. In this sacrament, the Lord truly becomes food for us, to satisfy our hunger for truth and freedom. Since only the truth can make us free (cf. Jn 8:32), Christ becomes for us the food of truth. (Benedict XVI. Apostolic Exhortation Sacramentum Caritatis, no.2, February 22, 2007)

  • The Eucharist is at the root of the Church as a mystery of communion

This is why Christian antiquity used the same words, Corpus Christi, to designate Christ’s body born of the Virgin Mary, his Eucharistic body and his ecclesial body. This clear datum of the tradition helps us to appreciate the inseparability of Christ and the Church. The Lord Jesus, by offering himself in sacrifice for us, in his gift effectively pointed to the mystery of the Church. It is significant that the Second Eucharistic Prayer, invoking the Paraclete, formulates its prayer for the unity of the Church as follows: ‘may all of us who share in the body and blood of Christ be brought together in unity by the Holy Spirit.’ These words help us to see clearly how the res of the sacrament of the Eucharist is the unity of the faithful within ecclesial communion. The Eucharist is thus found at the root of the Church as a mystery of communion (cf. STh, III, 80, 4). (Benedict XVI. Apostolic Exhortation Sacramentum Caritatis, no. 15, February 22, 2007)

…judges Francis’ idea on God’s presence in a sinner’s life

  • There are people who have totally destroyed their possibility of being with God

There can be people who have totally destroyed their desire for truth and readiness to love, people n everything has become a lie, people who have lived for hatred and have suppressed all love within themselves. This is a terrifying thought, but alarming profiles of this type can be seen in certain figures of our own history. In such people all would be beyond remedy and the destruction of good would be irrevocable: this is what we mean by the word Hell. (Benedict XVI. Encyclical Spe Salvi, no. 45, November 30, 2007)

…judges Francis’ idea on the harmony of all christian faiths

  • The unity operated by the Spirit is visibly manifest in the profession of the faith in its entirety

It is the Holy Spirit, the principle of unity, which establishes the Church as a communion (cf. LG, 13).  He is the principle of the unity of the faithful in the teaching of the Apostles, in the breaking of the bread and in prayer (cf. ibid; Acts 2:42). The Church, however, analogous to the mystery of the Incarnate Word, is not only an invisible spiritual communion, but is also visible (cf. LG 8; Communionis notio, 4); in fact, ‘the society structured with hierarchical organs and the Mystical Body of Christ, the visible society and the spiritual community, the earthly Church and the Church endowed with heavenly riches, are not to be thought of as two realities. On the contrary, they form one complex reality formed from a two-fold element, human and divine’ (LG, 8). The communion of the baptized in the teaching of the Apostles and in the breaking of the eucharistic bread is visibly manifested in the bonds of the profession of the faith in its entirety, of the celebration of all of the sacraments instituted by Christ, and of the governance of the College of Bishops united with its head, the Roman Pontiff. (Benedict XVI. Apostolic Constitution Anglicanorum Coetibus, November 4, 2009)

…judges Francis’ idea on selling off churches to feed the poor

  • Gestures of authentic devotion to Christ benefit the entire Church

Mary’s gesture is the expression of great faith and love for the Lord; it is not enough for her to wash the Teacher’s feet with water; she sprinkles on them a great quantity of the precious perfume which as Judas protested it would have been possible to sell for 300 denarii. She did not anoint his head, as was the custom, but his feet: Mary offers Jesus the most precious thing she has and with a gesture of deep devotion. Love does not calculate, does not measure, does not worry about expense, does not set up barriers but can give joyfully; it seeks only the good of the other, surmounts meanness, pettiness, resentment and the narrow-mindedness that human beings sometimes harbour in their hearts. Mary stood at the feet of Jesus in a humble attitude of service, the same attitude that the Teacher himself was to assume at the Last Supper, when, the fourth Gospel tells us, he ‘rose from supper, laid aside his garments, and girded himself with a towel. Then he poured water into a basin, and began to wash the disciples’ feet’ (Jn 13: 4-5), so that, he said, ‘you also should do as I have done to you’ (v. 15): the rule of the community of Jesus is that of love which knows how to serve to the point of offering one’s life. And the scent spread: ‘the house’ the Evangelist remarks, ‘was filled with the fragrance of the ointment’ (Jn 12: 3). The meaning of Mary’s action, which is a response to God’s infinite Love, spreads among all the guests; no gesture of charity and authentic devotion to Christ remains a personal event or concerns solely the relationship between the individual and the Lord. Rather, it concerns the whole Body of the Church, it is contagious: it instills love, joy and light. (Benedict XVI. Eucharistic Celebration on the fifth anniversary of the death of John Paul II, March 29, 2010)

  • To be preserved from perversion of heart it is necessary to assume Jesus’ point of view

In effect, the possibilities to pervert the human heart are truly many. The only way to prevent it consists in not cultivating an individualistic, autonomous vision of things, but on the contrary, by putting oneself always on the side of Jesus, assuming his point of view. We must daily seek to build full communion with him. (Benedict XVI. General Audience, October 18, 2006)

  • In the Church, charity is not a kind of social assistance

The Church’s deepest nature is expressed in her three-fold responsibility: of proclaiming the word of God (kerygma-martyria), celebrating the sacraments (leitourgia), and exercising the ministry of charity (diakonia). These duties presuppose each other and are inseparable. For the Church, charity is not a kind of welfare activity which could equally well be left to others, but is a part of her nature, an indispensable expression of her very being. (Benedict XVI. Encyclical Deus caritas est, no. 25, December 25, 2005)

  • Charity involves spiritual actions accomplished in the light of the Holy Spirit

Charity and justice are not only social but also spiritual actions, accomplished in the light of the Holy Spirit. We can thus say that the Apostles confronted this situation with great responsibility. They took the following decision: seven men were chosen; the Apostles prayed the Holy Spirit to grant them strength and then laid their hands on the seven so that they might dedicate themselves in a special way to this ministry of charity. Thus in the life of the Church, the first steps she took, in a certain way, reflected what had happened in Jesus’ public life at Martha and Mary’s house in Bethany. Martha was completely taken up with the service of hospitality to offer to Jesus and his disciples; Mary, on the contrary, devoted herself to listening to the Lord’s word (cf. Lk 10:38-42). In neither case were the moments of prayer and of listening to God, and daily activity, the exercise of charity in opposition. Jesus’ reminder, ‘Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things; one thing is needful. Mary has chosen the good portion, which shall not be taken away from her’ (Lk 10:41-42) and, likewise, the Apostles’ reflection: ‘We will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word’ (Acts 6:4), show the priority we must give to God. […] In any case activity undertaken to help one’s neighbor, ‘the other’, is not to be condemned, but it is essential to stress the need for it to be imbued also with the spirit of contemplation. (Benedict XVI. General Audience, April 25, 2012)

…judges Francis’ relations with  ‘ordained’ women of the christian churches

  • Ecumenical dialogue must not lead to indifferentism and false irenism

The coherence of the ecumenical endeavour with the teaching of the Second Vatican Council and with the entire Tradition, has been one of the areas to which the Congregation has always paid attention, in collaboration with the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity. Today we can note the many good fruit yielded by ecumenical dialogue. However, we must also recognize that the risk of a false irenism and of indifferentism – totally foreign to the thinking of the Second Vatican Council – demands our vigilance. This indifferentism is caused by the increasingly widespread opinion that truth is not accessible to man; hence it is necessary to limit oneself to finding rules for a praxis that can better the world. And like this, faith becomes substituted by a moralism without deep foundations. The centre of true ecumenism is, on the contrary, the faith in which the human being finds the truth which is revealed in the Word of God. Without faith the entire ecumenical movement would be reduced to a form of ‘social contract’ to which to adhere out of common interest, a ‘praxeology’, in order to create a better world. The logic of the Second Vatican Council is quite different: the sincere search for the full unity of all Christians is a dynamic inspired by the Word of God, by the divine Truth who speaks to us in this word. The crucial problem which marks ecumenical dialogue transversally is therefore the question of the structure of revelation – the relationship between Sacred Scripture, the living Tradition in Holy Church and the Ministry of the Successors of the Apostles as a witness of true faith. And in this case the problem of ecclesiology which is part of this problem is implicit: how God’s truth reaches us. Fundamental here is the discernment between Tradition with a capital ‘T’ and traditions. (Benedict XVI. Address to participants in the Plenary Meeting of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, January 27, 2012)

  • Example of generosity and confidence in God

I wish to express my closeness and to assure my prayers for all the families that bear witness to fidelity in especially difficult circumstances. I encourage large families who, at times living in the midst of setbacks and misunderstandings, set an example of generosity and trust in God, in the hope that they will not lack the assistance they need. (Benedict XVI. Address by Videoconference at the conclusion of the Mass closing the sixth World Day of Families held in Mexico City, January 18, 2009)

  • Beautiful to listen to couples about their large families – the problem of Europe penetrated my soul

The visit to Valencia, Spain was under the banner of the theme of marriage and the family. It was beautiful to listen, before the people assembled from all continents, to the testimonies of couples – blessed by a numerous throng of children – who introduced themselves to us and spoke of their respective journeys in the Sacrament of Marriage and in their large families. They did not hide the fact that they have also had difficult days, that they have had to pass through periods of crisis. Yet, precisely through the effort of supporting one another day by day, precisely through accepting one another ever anew in the crucible of daily trials, living and suffering to the full their initial ‘yes’, precisely on this Gospel path of ‘losing oneself, they had matured, rediscovered themselves and become happy. Their ‘yes’ to one another in the patience of the journey and in the strength of the Sacrament with which Christ had bound them together, had become a great ‘yes’ to themselves, their children, to God the Creator and to the Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Thus, from the witness of these families a wave of joy reached us, not a superficial and scant gaiety that is all too soon dispelled, but a joy that developed also in suffering, a joy that reaches down to the depths and truly redeems man. Before these families with their children, before these families in which the generations hold hands and the future is present, the problem of Europe, which it seems no longer wants to have children, penetrated my soul. • Admonishing sinners is an act of mercy

• ‘God will be kind to us all’: a beautiful hope, but murderers cannot suddenly sit down at God’s table together with their victims

As the great Marxist Adorno said, only the resurrection of the body, which he claimed as unreal, would be able to create justice. We believe in this resurrection of the body in which not all will be equal. Today people have become used to thinking: what is sin? God is great, he knows us, so sin does not count; in the end God will be kind to us all. It is a beautiful hope. But both justice and true guilt exist. Those who have destroyed man and the earth cannot suddenly sit down at God’s table together with their victims. God creates justice. (Benedict XVI. Meeting with the Parish Priests and the Clergy of the Diocese of Rome, February 7, 2008)

…judges Francis’ idea on the teaching of moral issues

  • The responsibility of constantly proclaiming non-negotiable values

Evidently, this is true for all the baptized, yet it is especially incumbent upon those who, by virtue of their social or political position, must make decisions regarding fundamental values, such as respect for human life, its defence from conception to natural death, the family built upon marriage between a man and a woman, the freedom to educate one’s children and the promotion of the common good in all its forms (Cf. John Paul II, Encyclical Evangelium Vitae: AAS 87(1995),401-522; Benedict XVI, Address to the Pontifical Academy for Life – 27 February 2006: AAS 98(2006), 264-265). These values are not negotiable. Consequently, Catholic politicians and legislators, conscious of their grave responsibility before society, must feel particularly bound, on the basis of a properly formed conscience, to introduce and support laws inspired by values grounded in human nature (Cf. Cong. for the Doct.of the Faith, Doctrinal note on questions regarding participation of Catholics in political life: AAS 96(2004),359-370). There is an objective connection here with the Eucharist (cf. 1Cor 11:27-29). Bishops are bound to reaffirm constantly these values as part of their responsibility to the flock entrusted to them (cf. Propositio 46). (Benedict XVI. Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation Sacramentum Caritatis, no. 83, February 22, 2007)

…judges Francis’ idea on Catholic Education to the Youth

  • Integral education cannot omit religious teaching

The above-mentioned religious indifferentism and the easy temptation of lax morals, as well as the ignorance of the Christian tradition with its rich spiritual patrimony, exert a powerful influence on the new generations. Young people have the right, from the beginning of the process of their formation, to be educated in faith and sound morals. For this reason, the integral education of the youngest cannot omit religious teaching at school as well. A solid religious formation will also serve as an effective shield against the advance of sects or other religious groups widespread today. (Benedict XVI. Address to members of the Bishops’ Conference of Puerto Rico on the ad limina visit, June 30, 2007)

  • Religious teaching may not be reduced to a generic sociology of religions

And the teaching in question cannot be reduced to a generic sociology of religions, because there is no such thing as generic, non-denominational religion. Thus, not only does denominational religious teaching in state schools do no damage to the secularism of the State, but in addition it guarantees the right of their parents to choose the education for their children, thereby contributing to promote the common good. (Benedict XVI. Address to the new ambassador of Brazil to the Holy See, 31 October, 2011)

  • Religious teaching is a necessary value for the person’s integral formation.

Among these areas of mutual collaboration I would like to stress here, Mister Ambassador, that of education to which the Church has contributed with countless educational institutions whose prestige is recognized by society as a whole. The role of education cannot, in fact, be reduced to the mere transmission of knowledge and skills that aim to form a professional but must include all the aspects of the person, from his social side to his yearning for the transcendent. For this reason it is appropriate to reaffirm, as was confirmed in the above-mentioned Agreement of 2008, that far from implying that the State assumes or imposes a specific religious creed, denominational religious teaching in state schools, means recognition of religion as a necessary value for the person’s integral formation. (Benedict XVI. Address to the new ambassador of Brazil to the Holy See, October 31, 2011)

  • The religious dimension makes it possible to transform knowledge into wisdom

The religious dimension is in fact intrinsic to culture. It contributes to the overall formation of the person and makes it possible to transform knowledge into wisdom of life. (Benedict XVI. Speech to the Catholic religion teachers, April 25, 2009)

  • The teaching of the Catholic religion capacitates the person to discover goodness

Thanks to the teaching of the Catholic religion, school and society are enriched with true laboratories of culture and humanity in which, by deciphering the significant contribution of Christianity, the person is equipped to discover goodness and to grow in responsibility, to seek comparisons and to refine his or her critical sense, to draw from the gifts of the past to understand the present better and to be able to plan wisely for the future. (Benedict XVI. Speech to the Catholic religion teachers, April 25, 2009)

For these (end) Times: Prophecies from Our Lady and the Saints through the Ages.

AM+DG

God gave us the prophets for the tough times to come.

I have always wondered why  Catholics don’t look at the prophecies of Our Lady and other saints whom God has sent to warn us against danger – just as He always did in the Old Testament through His prophets? We are generally ignorant of prophecies: I am in my late sixties – I remember being taught about Fatima, but never have I been taught about other saints or other apparitions of Our Lady. Through the years I seem to have been drawn to seeking them out. I remember when Garabandal happened. It was all over the news for a few months, then suddenly disappeared. My children are now in their forties and even though they went to Catholic schools, they were never taught about prophecies. Prophecies are never mentioned by priests, except these days, if you have a good traditionally-minded priest, he might mention Fatima, or as recently happened, Akita. Most priests are too afraid to read prophecy in case they are misled. What are they afraid of? Do they not pray for discernment? Are they not well-trained in the reading and understanding of the Church and its Teachings? Prophecies are a special gift from God to His children in need.

So when I speak to people who don’t understand what is going on, and who can’t bear to think that Francis is not a good pope – I tell them of the age-old prophecies from approved apparitions of Our Lady, and of course, the Saints! Who would doubt Our Lady and the Saints? I put a little booklet together (with a little more detail than in this article) and hand them out – with instant results. Those who truly love their Faith accept these prophecies and then their whole way of thinking is transformed.

A brief selection of Prophecies from Our Lady and the Saints follows – in date order

Saint Francis of Assisi (1226 A.D.)

St Francis was a visionary (saw Jesus Christ), had the stigmata and shortly before his death in October 3, 1226, he called his followers and left them his prediction of the coming of a Destroyer who is a pope and a great schism in the Holy Roman Catholic Church.

” 2. The devils will have unusual power, the immaculate purity of our Order, and of others, will be so much obscured that there will be very few Christians who will obey the true Sovereign Pontiff and the Roman Church with loyal hearts and perfect charity. At the time of this tribulation a man, not canonically elected, will be raised to the Pontificate, who, by his cunning, will endeavour to draw many into error and death.

“7. Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it under foot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor, but a destroyer.”

(Except for breaking up the narrative into numbered paragraphs and adding bold print for emphasis, the prophecy is presented without any alteration, as given in the Works of the Seraphic Father St. Francis of Assisi, Washbourne, 1882, pp. 248-250.)

Mother Mariana De Jesus Torres (17th Century) – Our Lady of Good Success, Quito, Ecuador

“As for the Sacrament of Matrimony, which symbolizes the union of Christ with His Church, it will be attacked and deeply profaned. Freemasonry, which will then be in power, will enact iniquitous laws with the aim of doing away with this Sacrament, making it easy for everyone to live in sin and encouraging the procreation of illegitimate children born without the blessing of the Church. The Catholic spirit will rapidly decay; the precious light of Faith will gradually be extinguished until there will be an almost total and general corruption of customs. Added to this will be the effects of secular education, which will be one reason for the dearth of priestly and religious vocations.”

(This is perfectly clear as we watched the Synods of 2014 and 2015, culminating in the catastrophe called Amoris Laetitia. And, according to modernist Cardinal Kasper, is only the beginning! Freemasonry is clearly in power, and at the summit of the Church, not to mention well entrenched in the Vatican.)

This apparent triumph of Satan will bring enormous sufferings to the good Pastors of the Church, the many good priests, and the Supreme Pastor and Vicar of Christ on Earth, who, a prisoner in the Vatican, will shed secret and bitter tears in the presence of his God and Lord, beseeching light, sanctity, and perfection for all the clergy of the world, of whom he is King and Father.”

“The sacred sacrament of Holy Orders will be ridiculed, oppressed and despised, for in doing this, one scorns and defiles the Church of God, and even God Himself, represented by His priests. The Demon will try to persecute the Ministers of the Lord in every possible way.”

“During this unfortunate epoch, injustice will even enter here [into the Church], my closed garden. Disguised under the name of false charity, it will wreak havoc in souls. The spiteful demon will try to sow discord, making use of putrid members, who, masked by the appearance of virtue, will be like decaying sepulchers emanating the pestilence of putrefaction, causing moral deaths in some and lukewarmness in others. … How the Church will suffer on that occasion the dark night of the lack of a Prelate and Father to watch over them with paternal love, gentleness, strength, and prudence!

Bl. Anne Catherine Emmerich: 1820

May 13, 1820

“I saw also the relationship between the two popes. . .

I saw how baleful (harmful) would be the consequences of this false church. I saw it increase in size; heretics of every kind came into the city (of Rome). The local clergy grew lukewarm, and I saw a great darkness…”

Once more I saw that the Church of Peter was undermined by a plan evolved by the secret sect, while storms were damaging it. But I saw also that help was coming when distress had reached its peak. I saw again the Blessed Virgin ascend on the Church and spread her mantle [over it].”

July, 1820

“I saw the Holy Father surrounded by traitors and in great distress about the Church. He had visions and apparitions in his hour of greatest need. I saw many good pious Bishops; but they were weak and wavering, their cowardice often got the upper hand…Then I saw darkness spreading around and people no longer seeking the true Church.”

August 10, 1820

“I see the Holy Father in great anguish. He lives in a palace other than before and he admits only a limited number of friends near him. I fear that the Holy Father will suffer many more trials before he dies. I see that the false Church of darkness is making progress and I see the dreadful influence it has on the people. The Holy Father and the Church are verily in so great a distress that one must implore God night and day…”

“I have been told to pray much for the Church and the Pope…The people must pray earnestly for the extirpation (rooting out) of the dark church.”

“Last night I was taken to Rome where the Holy Father immersed in his sorrow, is still hiding to elude dangerous demands (made upon him). He is still very weak, and exhausted by sorrows, cares and prayers. He can now trust but few people. That is mainly why he is hiding. But he still has with him an aged priest who has much simplicity and godliness. He is his friend and because of his simplicity they did not think it would be worth removing him. But this man receives many graces from God. He sees and notices a great many things which he faithfully reports to the Holy Father. It was required of me to inform him while he was praying, of the traitors and evil doers who were to be found among the high ranking servants living close to him, so that he might be made aware of it.”

October 1, 1820

“The Church is in great danger. We must pray so that the Pope may not leave Rome; countless evils would result if he did. They are now demanding something from him. The Protestant doctrine and that of the schismatic Greeks are to spread everywhere. I now see that in this place (Rome) the (Catholic) Church is being so cleverly undermined, that there hardly remain a hundred or so priests who have not been deceived. They all work for destruction, even the clergy. A great devastation is now near at hand.”

“In those days Faith will fall very low and it will be preserved in some places only.”

“The Little Black Man in Rome, whom I see so often, has many working for him without their clearly knowing for what end. He has his agents in the New Black Church also. If the Pope leaves Rome, the enemies of the Church will get the upper hand. …”

(N.b. The Jesuits wear black. The head of the Jesuits is referred to as the ”black pope”. Pope Francis is a Jesuit).

“I saw many pastors cherishing dangerous ideas against the Church. . . . I saw among other things. . . the Church under N___________. In all the rooms lay his children (that is, his plans), a full collection of his views. . . . He had set fire to the house, and I with others had to save the goods and convey them to the sheepfold. They built a large, singular, extravagant church which was “to embrace all creeds with equal rights; Evangelicals, Catholics and all denominations, a true communion of the unholy with one shepherd and one flock.….”

La Salette: 1846

‘Rome will lose the faith and become the seat of the antichrist.’

‘The Church will be eclipsed, the world will be in consternation..” [Abbé Combe, the editor of the 1904 edition, adds the following note after this paragraph. ‘I have from Melanie that the Church will be eclipsed in this sense, that 1) one will not know which is the true pope; 2) for a time: the holy Sacrifice will cease to be offered in churches, and also in houses: so there will be no more public worship. But she saw that yet the holy Sacrifice would not cease: it would be offered in caves, in tunnels, in barns and in alcoves.’]

“In this time the anti-Christ…will perform false miracles and subsist only on vitiating (i.e. contaminating) faith”

“There will be a series of wars until the last war which will then be fought by the kings of the anti-Christ, all of whom will have one and the same plan and will be the only rulers of the world...All civil governments will have one and the same plan: abolish and do away with every religious principal to make way for materialism, atheism, spiritualism and vice of all kinds”.

“The Holy Father will suffer a great deal because for a while the Church will yield to large persecution, a time of darkness and the Church will witness a frightful crisis”

Several religious institutions will lose all faith and will lose many souls…A great number of priests and members of religious orders will break away from the true religion. Among these people, there will even be bishops”

“Italy will be punished for her ambition in wanting to shake off the yoke of the Lord of lords”

Pope Leo XIII 1886

“These most crafty enemies [the devils] have filled and inebriated with gall and bitterness the Church, the spouse of the Immaculate Lamb, and have laid impious hands on Her most sacred possessions. In the Holy Place itself, where has been set up the See of the most holy Peter and the Chair of Truth for the light of the world, they have raised the throne of their abominable impiety, with the iniquitous design that when the Pastor has been struck, the sheep may be scattered.”

Pope Pius X (1909)

Here is the prophecy of Pope Pius X, where he states that the “forced to flee” pope-martyr (also described by Sister Lucia of Fatima as the pope in white who will be killed)   will have his name… Giuseppe = Joseph.  This could only be Joseph Ratzinger, Benedict XVI:

” In 1909, during an audience for the general chapter of the Franciscan Order, Pope Pius X suddenly fell into a trance. The audience waited in reverent silence. When he awoke, the Pope cried out:

“What I see is terrifying! Will it be myself? Will it be my successor? What is certain is that the Pope will quit Rome, and in leaving the Vatican he will have to walk over the dead bodies of his priests.  [This was precisely the vision sister Lucia received of the martyr pope dressed in white!] “Do not tell anyone this while I am alive.”

Just prior to his death (August 20, 1914), Pope Pius X had another vision:

“I have seen one of my successors, of the same name, who was fleeing over the bodies of his brethren. He will take refuge in some hiding place; but after a brief respite he will die a cruel death.

Fatima 1917

In the Third Secret [of Fatima] it is foretold, among other things, that the great apostasy in the Church will begin at the top.”  —Mario L. Ciappi, Cardinal and household theologian to John Paul II; quoted in The Devil’s Final Battle, p. 33

Satan rules even in the highest positions and determines the direction of things. He will succeed in worming his way even into the highest summits of the Church…”

“But this will be a time of great trials for the Church. Cardinals will oppose cardinals. Bishops will oppose bishops. Satan will walk in their ranks. In Rome, there will be great changes. What is rotten will fall and what will fall will never rise again. Darkness will envelope the Church and the world will be thrown into a panic.”

The quote given above is taken from a German periodical published in 1963, Neues Europa, and received unofficial approbation in the 1960’s by several Church officials who had read the original 3rd Secret text hand written by Sister Lucia. Among these Church officials was the respected Cardinal Ottovani. (Taken from:  http://marienfried.com/catholic%20teachings/prophecy%20of%20apostasy.html

At an interview of (Jesuit) Fr Malachi Martin in 1998, who was present at the reading of the Third Secret in 1960 by Pope John XXIII, Art Bell asked him if the statement that “The last pope will be under the control of satan” is true and really part of the Third Secret,– he replies “Yes. That is correct”. See the whole interview at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gn–7GTffn8. See especially: 1h:46m:30s to 1h:47m:20s

The world will be afflicted with wars, famine, the martyrdom of the good, persecution of the Church and the Holy Father, the annihilation of nations, and apostasy from the one true Faith.

Ven. Archbishop Fulton Sheen (1950)

“The mystical body on earth today will have its Judas Iscariot and he will be the false prophet. Satan will recruit him from among our bishops.”

“We are living in the days of the Apocalypse–the last days of our era…. The two great forces of the Mystical Body of Christ and the Mystical Body of Antichrist are beginning to draw up the battle lines for the catastrophic contest.” (Flynn T & L. The Thunder of Justice. Maxkol Communications, Sterling, VA, 1993, p. 20)

He also said:

“The False Prophet will have a religion without a cross. A religion without a world to come. A religion to destroy religions. There will be a counterfeit church. Christ’s Church [the Catholic Church] will be one. And the False Prophet will create the other. The false church will be worldly, ecumenical, and global. It will be a loose federation of churches. And religions forming some type of global association. A world parliament of churches. It will be emptied of all divine content and will be the mystical body of the Antichrist.

Pope Pius XII – 1950’s

“I am worried by the Blessed Virgin’s messages to Lucy of Fatima. This persistence of Mary about the dangers which menace the Church is a Divine warning against the suicide of altering the Faith, in Her liturgy, Her theology and Her soul. … I hear all around me innovators who wish to dismantle the Sacred Chapel, destroy the universal flame of the true Faith of the Church, reject Her ornaments and make Her feel remorse for Her historical past.”

“A day will come when the civilized world will deny its God, when the Church will doubt as Peter doubted. She will be tempted to believe that man has become God. In our churches, Christians will search in vain for the red lamp where God awaits them. Like Mary Magdalene, weeping before the empty tomb, they will ask, ‘Where have they taken Him?’

Our Lady of Akita: 1973

The third message on October 13, 1973, (the actual anniversary of the final visions and miracle of Fatima) is as follows:

.. . Each day, recite the prayers of the Rosary. With the Rosary, pray for the Pope, the bishops and the priests.

“The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, and bishops against other bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their Confreres. The Church and altars will be vandalized. The Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord”.

“The demon will rage especially against souls consecrated to God. The thought of the loss of so many souls is the cause of my sadness. If sins increase in number and gravity, there will no longer be pardon for them.”

Our Lady to Fr. Gobbi

Message #406, June 13 1989

“This masonic infiltration, in the interior of the Church, was already foretold to you by Me at Fatima, when I announced to you that Satan would enter in even to the summit of the Church.”

Message #485, December 31, 1992

“I have announced to you many times that the end of the times and the coming of Jesus in glory is very near. Now, I want to help you understand the signs described in the Holy Scriptures, which indicate that his glorious return is now close.”

The first sign is the spread of errors, which lead to the loss of faith and to apostasy. These errors are being propagated by false teachers, by renowned theologians who are no longer teaching the truths of the gospel, but pernicious heresies based on errors and on human reasoning. It is because of the teaching of these errors that the true faith is being lost and that the great apostasy is spreading everywhere.”

Message # 383, May 22, 1988, Feast of the Pentecost

“…Even now, that which I predicted at Fatima and that which I have revealed here in the third message confided to a little daughter of mine is in the process of being accomplished. And so, even for the Church the moment of its great trial has come, because the man of iniquity will establish himself within it and the abomination of desolation will enter into the holy temple of God.”

“First of all, a great apostasy is spreading in every part of the Church, through the lack of faith which is flooding even among its very pastors. Satan has succeeded in spreading everywhere the great apostasy, by means of his subtle work of seduction, which has brought many to be alienated from the truth of the Gospel to follow the fables of the new theological theories and to take delight in evil and in sin, sought after as an actual good”

“This great apostasy is spreading more and more, even through the interior of the Catholic Church. Errors are being taught and spread about, while the fundamental truths of the faith, which the authentic Magisterium of the Church has always taught and energetically defended against any heretical deviation whatsoever, are being denied with impunity.

Pope Benedict XVI at His Inaugural Address (2013)

“Pray for me, that I may not flee for fear of the wolves”.

This is just a taste. I have not included prophecies about the Warning (Illumination of Consciences) and the 3 days of darkness for the sake of brevity. I have also omitted saints such as St Bridget of Sweden (1300’s), St Nicholas of Flue (15th century), St Nilos-Gusher of Mount Athos (1600’s), St John Bosco, Pope Pius IX (1909), St Faustina, St Padre Pio, and many others. They all complement and affirm each other and are included in our booklet. This can be downloaded: see menu item (on front page): “Tools for Evangelization.”

Our non-Catholic Christian friends prefer Biblical references. These include St Matthew’s Gospel Chapter 24,;Deureronomy 13:1-4; Thessalonians 2: 1-12 ; Revelation 13: 13-15; Daniel 7:25; Daniel 8;25; Daniel 11:36-37; Revelation 13: 17; Matthew 25:31-34; 2 Peter 3: 3-13

God never abandons us. He has been warning us against these days since Jesus walked this earth. But we ignore all the signs and all the prophets He has sent us – even His own Mother. The messages are to prepare us. Any trial is easier when we are prepared. These messages tell us what to expect and how to fight it. They give us Hope and keep us from despair.
