The English Denzinger site (which was run by (20) priests, and which (strangely??) has not been active for a few years, was invaluable and priceless in terms of comparing everything Francis claimed to what authentic Church Teaching says.

The following is an example of one article I had saved. It is very long, so I will post just a few bits every day. The following continues from yesterday’s post.

Benedict XVI…

…judges Francis’ idea that Jesus is only mercy

  • Justice and charity coincide in God

Justice and mercy, justice and charity on which the Church’s charity is hinged, are two different realities only for the human person. For we distinguish carefully between a just act and an act of love. For us ‘just’ means ‘what is due to the other’, while ‘merciful’ is what is given out of kindness. One seems to exclude the other. Yet for God it is not like this: justice and charity coincide in him; there is no just action that is not also an act of mercy and pardon, and at the same time, there is no merciful action that is not perfectly just. How far God’s logic is from our own! And how different is his way of acting from ours! (Benedict XVI. Address in the Rebibbia district prison, Rome, December 18, 2011)

  • The parable of the rich man and poor Lazarus shows how earthly wickedness is overturned by divine justice

Today, Luke’s Gospel presents to us the parable of the rich man and poor Lazarus (Lk 16: 19-31). […] The story shows how earthly wickedness is overturned by divine justice: after his death, Lazarus was received ‘in the bosom of Abraham’, that is, into eternal bliss; whereas the rich man ended up ‘in Hades, in torment’. This is a new and definitive state of affairs against which no appeal can be made, which is why one must mend one’s ways during one’s life; to do so after serves no purpose. (Benedict XVI. Angelus, September 30, 2007)

  • God is the one who proclaims justice forcefully

Dear brothers and sisters, human justice and divine justice differ greatly. People are unable of course to apply divine justice. However they must at least look at it, seeking to understand the profound spirit that motivates it so that it may also illumine human justice and thereby prevent the inmate from becoming an outcast, which unfortunately happens all too often. […] God is the one who proclaims justice forcefully but at the same time heals wounds with the balm of mercy. The parable in Matthew’s Gospel of the laborers, called to work by day in the vineyard (Mt 20:1-16), enables us to understand the difference between human and divine justice because it makes the delicate relationship between justice and mercy explicit. The parable describes a farmer who hired laborers to work in his vineyard. But he did so at different times of day so that some of them worked all day and others only for an hour. When the time came to pay their wages the owner of the vineyard elicited amazement and started a discussion among the laborers. The matter concerned the generosity — considered unfair by those present — of the vineyard owner who decided to give the same remuneration to the workers hired in the morning as to those hired in the afternoon. In the human perspective this decision was an authentic form of unfairness, from God’s viewpoint an act of kindness, because divine justice gives to each what he is due and includes in addition mercy and forgiveness. (Benedict XVI. Address in the Rebibbia district prison, Rome, December 18, 2011)

  • Injustice: its origin lies in the human heart in a mysterious cooperation with evil

The Evangelist Mark reports the following words of Jesus, which are inserted within the debate at that time regarding what is pure and impure: ‘There is nothing outside a man which by going into him can defile him; but the things which come out of a man are what defile him … What comes out of a man is what defiles a man. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts (Mk 7:14-15, 20-21). Beyond the immediate question concerning food, we can detect in the reaction of the Pharisees a permanent temptation within man: to situate the origin of evil in an exterior cause. Many modern ideologies deep down have this presupposition: since injustice comes ‘from outside,’ in order for justice to reign, it is sufficient to remove the exterior causes that prevent it being achieved. This way of thinking – Jesus warns – is ingenuous and shortsighted. Injustice, the fruit of evil, does not have exclusively external roots; its origin lies in the human heart, where the seeds are found of a mysterious cooperation with evil. (Benedict XVI. Message for Lent 2010, October 30, 2009)

  • Justice signifies full acceptance of the will of the God, and equity in relation to one’s neighbor

At the heart of the wisdom of Israel, we find a profound link between faith in God who ‘lifts the needy from the ash heap’ (Ps 113:7) and justice towards one’s neighbor. The Hebrew word itself that indicates the virtue of justice, sedaqah, expresses this well. Sedaqah, in fact, signifies on the one hand full acceptance of the will of the God of Israel; on the other hand, equity in relation to one’s neighbour (cf. Ex 20:12-17). (Benedict XVI. Message for Lent 2010, October 30, 2009)

…judges Francis’ idea on the poor being the heart of the Gospel

  • Christ lives in the Sacred Scriptures

The Church knows well that Christ lives in the Sacred Scriptures. For this very reason – as the Constitution stresses – she has always venerated the divine Scriptures in the same way as she venerates the Body of the Lord (cf. Dei Verbum, no. 21). (Benedict XVI. Address for the 40th anniversary of the Dogmatic Constitution on Divine revelation Dei Verbum, September 16, 2005)

  • God’s love for man is the heart of the Gospel

The Letter to the Hebrews has set us before Christ, the eternal High Priest, exalted to the Father’s glory after offering himself as the one perfect sacrifice of the New Covenant in which the work of Redemption was accomplished. St Augustine fixed his gaze on this mystery and in it he found the Truth he was so ardently seeking. Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Word, the Sacrificed and Risen Lamb, is the Face of God-Love for every human being on his journey along the paths of time towards eternity. The Apostle John writes in a passage that can be considered parallel to the one just proclaimed in the Letter to the Hebrews: ‘In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the expiation for our sins’ (I Jn 4: 10). Here is the heart of the Gospel, the central nucleus of Christianity. (Benedict XVI. Homily during the pastoral visit to Vigevano and Pavia, Italy, April 22, 2007)

  • The Gospel transmits a universal message: ‘Make disciples of all nations’

The Church, in other words, must constantly rededicate herself to her mission. The three Synoptic Gospels highlight various aspects of the missionary task. The mission is built first of all upon personal experience: ‘You are witnesses’ (Lk 24:48); it finds expression in relationships: ‘Make disciples of all nations’ (Mt 28:19); and it spreads a universal message: ‘Preach the Gospel to the whole creation’ (Mk 16:15). Through the demands and constraints of the world, however, this witness is constantly obscured, the relationships are alienated and the message is relativized. (Benedict XVI. Address to the Catholics engaged in the life of the Church and society, September 25, 2011)

Pope Benedict Vs. Francis Part 2

AM+DG

The English Denzinger site (which was run by (20) priests, and which (strangely??) has not been active for a few years, was invaluable and priceless in terms of comparing everything Francis claimed to what authentic Church Teaching says.

The following is an example of one article I had saved. It is very long, so I will post just a few bits every day. The following continues from yesterday’s post.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++

Benedict XVI…

…judges Francis’ idea on proclaiming the Gospel only with gentleness

  • It is our mission to proclaim the whole of God’s will, in its totality and ultimate simplicity – even when inconvenient

This is important; the Apostle did not preach an ‘à la carte’ Christianity to suit his own inclinations, he did not preach a Gospel to suit his own favourite theological ideas; he did not shrink from the commitment to proclaiming the whole of God’s will, even an inconvenient will and even topics of which he was personally not so enamoured. It is our mission to proclaim the whole of God’s will, in its totality and ultimate simplicity. But it is important that we teach and preach, as St Paul says here, and really propose the will of God in its entirety. (Benedict XVI. Lectio Divina given at the meeting with the parish priests of the Rome diocese, March 10, 2011)

  • Christian admonishment is always moved by love and mercy

I am thinking of all those Christians who, out of human regard or purely personal convenience, adapt to the prevailing mentality, rather than warning their brothers and sisters against ways of thinking and acting that are contrary to the truth and that do not follow the path of goodness. Christian admonishment, for its part, is never motivated by a spirit of accusation or recrimination. It is always moved by love and mercy, and springs from genuine concern for the good of the other. (Benedict XVI. Message for lent, 2012, no. 1, November 3, 2011)

…judges Francis’ idea on proclaiming the Gospel

  • The hermeneutic of discontinuity: a split between the pre-conciliar and the post-conciliar Church. This is to fundamentally misunderstand what a Council is

What has been the result of the Council? Was it well received? What, in the acceptance of the Council, was good and what was inadequate or mistaken? What still remains to be done? […] The question arises: Why has the implementation of the Council, in large parts of the Church, thus far been so difficult? Well, it all depends on the correct interpretation of the Council or – as we would say today – on its proper hermeneutics, the correct key to its interpretation and application. The problems in its implementation arose from the fact that two contrary hermeneutics came face to face and quarreled with each other. One caused confusion, the other, silently but more and more visibly, bore and is bearing fruit. On the one hand, there is an interpretation that I would call ‘a hermeneutic of discontinuity and rupture’; it has frequently availed itself of the sympathies of the mass media, and also one trend of modern theology. On the other, there is the ‘hermeneutic of reform’, of renewal in the continuity of the one subject-Church which the Lord has given to us. She is a subject which increases in time and develops, yet always remaining the same, the one subject of the journeying People of God. The hermeneutic of discontinuity risks ending in a split between the pre-conciliar Church and the post-conciliar Church. […] The nature of a Council as such is therefore basically misunderstood. In this way, it is considered as a sort of constituent that eliminates an old constitution and creates a new one. (Benedict XVI. Address to the Roman Curia, December 22, 2005)

  • We must see the Council in this perspective of continuity

This point is also important with regard to the Council. We need not, as I said to the Roman Curia before Christmas, live the hermeneutic of discontinuity, but rather the hermeneutic of renewal, which is the spirituality of continuity, of going ahead in continuity. […] We must accept newness but also love continuity, and we must see the Council in this perspective of continuity. (Benedict XVI. Address to the members of the Roman clergy, March 2, 2006)

  • The Church, both before and after the Council, was and is the same Church

The Church, both before and after the Council, was and is the same Church, one, holy, catholic and apostolic, journeying on through time; she continues ‘her pilgrimage amid the persecutions of the world and the consolations of God’, proclaiming the death of the Lord until he comes (cf. Lumen Gentium, no. 8). (Benedict XVI. Address to the Roman Curia, December 22, 2005)

  • Proclaim the Gospel without fear or reticence, never yielding to the conditioning of the world

The truth about Gospel love concerns every person and the whole person, and involves the Pastor in proclaiming it without fear or reticence, and never yielding to the conditioning of the world in season and out of season (cf. 2Tim 4:2). Dear Brothers in the Episcopate, in a time such as our own, marked by the growing phenomenon of globalization, it is ever more necessary to make the truth about Christ and his Gospel of salvation reach everyone. (Benedict XVI. Address to the members of the 11th Ordinary Council of the General Secretariat of the Synod of Bishops, June 1, 2006)

  • The Church of love is also the Church of truth and fidelity to the Gospel

The Church of love is also the Church of truth, understood primarily as fidelity to the Gospel entrusted by the Lord Jesus to his followers. It was being made children of the same Father by the Spirit of truth that gave rise to Christian brotherhood: ‘For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God’ (Rom 8:14). However, if the family of God’s children is to live in unity and peace, it needs someone to keep it in the truth and guide it with wise and authoritative discernment: this is what the ministry of the Apostles is required to do. (Benedict XVI. General audience, April 5, 2006)

…judges Francis’ idea on new forms of poverty

  • …but there are those who have totally destroyed their desire for truth

There can be people who have totally destroyed their desire for truth and readiness to love, people for whom everything has become a lie, people who have lived for hatred and have suppressed all love within themselves. This is a terrifying thought, but alarming profiles of this type can be seen in certain figures of our own history. In such people all would be beyond remedy and the destruction of good would be irrevocable: this is what we mean by the word Hell. (Benedict XVI. Encyclical Spe salvi, no. 45, November 30, 2007)

  • It is not enough to care for the body, we must adorn the soul with the divine gifts acquired through Baptism

Through treatment, which includes medical, psychological and educational assistance, and through much prayer, manual work and discipline, many people – especially young people –have already succeeded in freeing themselves from alcohol and drug dependency, thereby recovering meaning in their lives. I wish to express my appreciation for this work, which has the charism of Saint Francis and the spirituality of the Focolare Movement as its spiritual foundation. Reintegration in society undoubtedly demonstrates the effectiveness of your initiative. Yet it is the conversions, the rediscovery of God and active participation in the life of the Church which attract even greater attention and which confirm the importance of your work. It is not enough to care for the body, we must adorn the soul with the most precious divine gifts acquired through Baptism. Let us thank God for all those who have set out along the path of renewed hope, with the help of the Sacrament of Reconciliation and the celebration of the Eucharist. (Benedict XVI. Address to the Community of Fazenda da Esperança, no. 4, May 25, 2007)

  • The Church’s charitable activity is not just another form of social assistance

For this reason, it is very important that the Church’s charitable activity maintains all of its splendour and does not become just another form of social assistance. (Benedict XVI. Encyclical Deus caritas est, no. 31, December 25, 2005)

…judges Francis’ idea on the ‘Bread of Life’

  • In the Eucharist Jesus offers his own body and pours out his own blood

In the Eucharist Jesus does not give us a ‘thing,’ but himself; he offers his own body and pours out his own blood. He thus gives us the totality of his life and reveals the ultimate origin of this love. He is the eternal Son, given to us by the Father. In the Gospel we hear how Jesus, after feeding the crowds by multiplying the loaves and fishes, says to those who had followed him to the synagogue of Capernaum: ‘My Father gives you the true bread from heaven; for the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven, and gives life to the world’ (Jn 6:32-33), and even identifies himself, his own flesh and blood, with that bread: ‘I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh’ (Jn 6:51). Jesus thus shows that he is the bread of life which the eternal Father gives to mankind. (Benedict XVI. Apostolic exhortation Sacramentum caritatis, no. 7, February 22, 2007)

  • By receiving the body and blood of Jesus Christ we become sharers in the divine life in a more conscious way

The Lord Jesus, who became for us the food of truth and love, speaks of the gift of his life and assures us that ‘if any one eats of this bread, he will live for ever’ (Jn 6:51). This ‘eternal life’ begins in us even now, thanks to the transformation effected in us by the gift of the Eucharist: ‘He who eats me will live because of me’ (Jn 6:57). These words of Jesus make us realize how the mystery ‘believed’ and ‘celebrated’ contains an innate power making it the principle of new life within us and the form of our Christian existence. By receiving the body and blood of Jesus Christ we become sharers in the divine life in an ever more adult and conscious way. Here too, we can apply Saint Augustine’s words, in his Confessions, about the eternal Logos as the food of our souls. Stressing the mysterious nature of this food, Augustine imagines the Lord saying to him: ‘I am the food of grown men; grow, and you shall feed upon me; nor shall you change me, like the food of your flesh, into yourself, but you shall be changed into me’ (VII, 10, 16: PL 32, 742). It is not the eucharistic food that is changed into us, but rather we who are mysteriously transformed by it. Christ nourishes us by uniting us to himself; ‘he draws us into himself’. (Benedict XVI, Homily at Marienfeld Esplanade, 21 August 2005 (Benedict XVI. Apostolic exhortation Sacramentum caritatis, no. 70, February 22, 2007)

  • With the multiplication of the loaves, Jesus announces the Eucharistic Bread

Afterwards, the people, seeing this miracle [the multiplication of the loaves], that seemed to be the much-awaited renewal of a new ‘manna’, of the gift of bread from heaven, wanted to make him king. But Jesus does not accept and withdraws into the hills by himself to pray. The following day, on the other side of the lake in the Synagogue of Capernaum, Jesus explained the miracle – not in the sense of a kingship over Israel with a worldly power in the way the crowds hoped, but in the sense of the gift of self: ‘The bread which I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh’ (Jn 6: 51). Jesus announces the Cross and with the Cross the true multiplication of the loaves, the Eucharistic bread his absolutely new way of kingship, a way completely contrary to the expectations of the people. (Benedict XVI. General audience, May 24, 2006)

  • The Eucharist is nourishment for the soul

Let us give thanks to God for the gift of bread; for the Eucharist, nourishment of the soul, as well as for our daily bread, nourishment for the body. May God bless the harvest of this year and all of those working for it. (Benedict XVI. General audience, greeting to the Polish pilgrims, August 19, 2009)

The English Denzinger-Bergoglio site (which was run by priests, and which (strangely??) has not been active for a few years, was invaluable and priceless in terms of comparing everything Francis claimed to what authentic Church Teaching says.

We have a few good bishops and just a few priests who publicly publish corrections of what Francis says and does, but they are not enough.

The following is an example of one article I had saved. It is very long, so I will post just a few bits every day. There are 17 parts in all. I will try to post one each day. They are an invaluable resource to have on hand for arguments against Francis’ problematic teachings and sayings.

Benedict XVI…

…judges Francis’ idea on Ecumenical dialogue

  • Today, having a clear faith based on the Creed of the Church is often labelled as fundamentalism

How many winds of doctrine have we known in recent decades, how many ideological currents, how many ways of thinking. The small boat of the thought of many Christians has often been tossed about by these waves – flung from one extreme to another: from Marxism to liberalism, even to libertinism; from collectivism to radical individualism; from atheism to a vague religious mysticism; from agnosticism to syncretism and so forth. Every day new sects spring up, and what St Paul says about human deception and the trickery that strives to entice people into error (cf. Eph 4: 14) comes true. Today, having a clear faith based on the Creed of the Church is often labeled as fundamentalism. Whereas relativism, that is, letting oneself be ‘tossed here and there, carried about by every wind of doctrine’, seems the only attitude that can cope with modern times. We are building a dictatorship of relativism that does not recognize anything as definitive and whose ultimate goal consists solely of one’s own ego and desires. (Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger. Homily for the Pro eligendo Pontifice, April 18, 2005)

  • The first service that Christians can render to humanity: the proclamation and witness to the Gospel

Actually, the proclamation of and witness to the Gospel are the first service that Christians can render to every person and to the entire human race, called as they are to communicate to all God’s love, which was fully manifested in Jesus Christ, the one Redeemer of the world. (Benedict XVI. Address to the participants of the International Conference on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Conciliar decree Ad gentes, March 11, 2006)

…judges Francis’ idea on God judging us by loving us

  • Conversion without repentance is a false interpretation of grace

Next let us reflect further on this verse: Christ, the Savior, gave to Israel repentance and forgiveness of sins (v. 31) in the Greek text the term is metanoia he gave repentance and pardon for sins. This to me is a very important observation: repentance is a grace. There is an exegetical trend that states that in Galilee Jesus would have proclaimed a grace without conditions, absolutely unconditional, therefore also without penitence, grace as such, without human preconditions. But this is a false interpretation of grace. Repentance is grace; it is a grace that we recognize our sin; it is a grace that we realize the need for renewal, for change, for the transformation of our being. Repentance, the capacity to be penitent, is a gift of grace. And I must say that we Christians, even in recent times, have often avoided the word penitence it seemed to us too difficult. (Benedict XVI. Homily for the Eucharistic Concelebration with the members of the Pontifical Biblical Commission, April 15, 2010)

  • God is justice and creates justice

The image of the Last Judgement is not primarily an image of terror, but an image of hope; for us it may even be the decisive image of hope. Is it not also a frightening image? I would say: it is an image that evokes responsibility, an image, therefore, of that fear of which Saint Hilary spoke when he said that all our fear has its place in love. God is justice and creates justice. This is our consolation and our hope. And in his justice there is also grace. This we know by turning our gaze to the crucified and risen Christ. Both these things–justice and grace–must be seen in their correct inner relationship. Grace does not cancel out justice. It does not make wrong into right. It is not a sponge which wipes everything away, so that whatever someone has done on earth ends up being of equal value. (Benedict XVI. Encyclical Spe salvi, no. 44, November 30, 2007)

…judges Francis’ idea on Jesus asking forgiveness from his parents

  • Jesus’ answer shows that he had done nothing unusual or disobedient in staying at the Temple

In the episode of the 12-year-old Jesus, the first words of Jesus are also recorded: ‘How is it that you sought me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father’s house?’ (Lk 2:49). After three days spent looking for him his parents found him in the temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions (Lk 2:46). His answer to the question of why he had done this to his father and mother was that he had only done what the Son should do, that is, to be with his Father. Thus he showed who is the true Father, what is the true home, and that he had done nothing unusual or disobedient. He had stayed where the Son ought to be, that is, with the Father, and he stressed who his Father was. (Benedict XVI. General audience, December 28, 2011)

…judges Francis’ idea on Grace

  • In Saint Paul the power of God’s grace served as an inner ‘lever’ with which God could propel him onwards

Paul experienced in an extraordinary way the power of God’s grace […] All of his preaching and even more his entire missionary existence was sustained by an inner urge that can be traced back to the fundamental experience of ‘grace’. ‘By the grace of God I am what I am’, he writes to the Corinthians, ‘…I worked harder than any of them [the Apostles], though it was not I, but the grace of God which is with me’ (1Cor 15:10). It is a question of an awareness that surfaces in all his writings and that served as an inner ‘lever’ with which God could propel him onwards, toward ever further boundaries, not only geographical but also spiritual. (Benedict XVI. Homily on Ash Wednesday, February 25, 2009)

…judges Francis’ idea on Faith

  • Faith demands to be passed on: it was not given to us merely for ourselves

Faith demands to be passed on: it was not given to us merely for ourselves, for the personal salvation of our own souls, but for others, for this world and for our time. (Benedict XVI. Homily for the Episcopal ordination of five new Bishops, September 12, 2009)

  • We do not ‘have’ faith in the sense that it must not be invented by us

‘How do we acquire a living faith, a truly Catholic faith, a faith that is practical, lively and effective?’ Faith, ultimately, is a gift. Consequently, the first condition is to let ourselves be given something, not to be self-sufficient or do everything by ourselves – because we cannot -, but to open ourselves in the awareness that the Lord truly gives. It seems to me that this gesture of openness is also the first gesture of prayer: being open to the Lord’s presence and to his gift. This is also the first step in receiving something that we do not have, that we cannot have with the intention of acquiring it all on our own. We must make this gesture of openness, of prayer – give me faith, Lord! – with our whole being. We must enter into this willingness to accept the gift and let ourselves, our thoughts, our affections and our will, be completely immersed in this gift. Here, I think it is very important to stress one essential point: no one believes purely on his own. . The Creed is always a shared act, it means letting ourselves be incorporated into a communion of progress, life, words and thought. We do not ‘have’ faith, in the sense that it is primarily God who gives it to us. Nor do we ‘have’ it either, in the sense that it must not be invented by us. We must let ourselves fall, so to speak, into the communion of faith, of the Church. Believing is in itself a Catholic act. It is participation in this great certainty, which is present in the Church as a living subject. (Benedict XVI. Meeting with the members of the Roman clergy, March 2. 2006)

  • We believe together with the Church

The other thing concerns the fact that we ourselves cannot invent faith, composing it with ‘sustainable’ pieces, but we believe together with the Church. (Benedict XVI. Address to the Bishops of Switzerland, November 7, 2006)

  • Faith is a gift, not a product of our thought or reflection

Faith is not a product of our thought or our reflection; it is something new that we cannot invent but only receive as a gift, as a new thing produced by God. (Benedict XVI. General audience, December 10, 2008)

…judges Francis’ idea on Catholic Faith and Lutheran belief

  • The Eucharist is found at the root of the Church as a mystery of communion

This is why Christian antiquity used the same words, Corpus Christi, to designate Christ’s body born of the Virgin Mary, his eucharistic body and his ecclesial body. This clear datum of the tradition helps us to appreciate the inseparability of Christ and the Church. The Lord Jesus, by offering himself in sacrifice for us, in his gift effectively pointed to the mystery of the Church. It is significant that the Second Eucharistic Prayer, invoking the Paraclete, formulates its prayer for the unity of the Church as follows: ‘may all of us who share in the body and blood of Christ be brought together in unity by the Holy Spirit.’ These words help us to see clearly how the res of the sacrament of the Eucharist is the unity of the faithful within ecclesial communion. The Eucharist is thus found at the root of the Church as a mystery of communion. (Benedict XVI. Apostolic exhortation Sacramentum Caritatis, no. 15, February 22, 2007)

  • Faith is a gift – it is God who gives us faith; it is not invented by us

‘How do we acquire a living faith, a truly Catholic faith, a faith that is practical, lively and effective?’ Faith, ultimately, is a gift. […] We do not ‘have’ faith, in the sense that it is primarily God who gives it to us. Nor do we ‘have’ it either, in the sense that it must not be invented by us. (Benedict XVI. Meeting with the members of the Roman Clergy, March 2, 2006)

Pope Benedict still acts like the true Pope

  • Benedict XVI Keeps Imparting “Apostolic Blessing”

Former Benedict XVI wrote his September 20 letter to Cardinal Sarah “with my Apostolic Blessing” (Original: imparto la benedizione apostolica”)

The “Apostolic Benediction” is only given by the Pope.

Already in 2018, Benedict used the same term in German (“mit meinem apostolischen Segen”) concluding a letter to Cardinal Brandmüller.

Back then, it was claimed that Benedict used the term somewhat loosely although, reportedly, his mind is still sharp.

Families are under attack

AM+DG

A Traditional Catholic Family in the Making

Families are under attack today in so many ways – spiritually, morally and temporally. The law mandates now that there are all sorts of families eg. co-parented families,  same sex parent families, three parent families, broken families, families created through surrogates, families of co-habiting, unmarried couples and families of couples with ‘open’ marriages. Large families are discriminated against. Abortion and euthanasia laws are slaughtering millions of true family members; divorce laws are tearing families apart; transgender laws are destroying our children’s true identities and laws make it easy to live together without permanent commitment thereby eroding the base and security of the family. The family and the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony are no longer revered. And since chastity is also no longer revered either, is it any wonder that The Holy Family Itself is not given the reverence and wonder which is its due?

Today, in the Traditional Rite (Latin Mass) – we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Family. The Holy Family had to struggle from the very beginning.

Joseph and Mary had to undertake quite a journey – they had no choice – it was the law – they had to register for a census. Mary, with her Babe almost due, rode a donkey – imagine the bumpy ride and the discomfort – and Joseph’s concern. The journey was long and arduous and over rough terrain.

They finally  reached Bethlehem, but so had thousands of other people. It was crowded and the inns were full. No-one seemed to have any compassion. Finally they found a stable – a cold, dark, damp and probably smelly (due to the animals)  place. But there was nowhere else to stay. I imagine Joseph tried his best to make it comfortable, spreading dry straw around and perhaps using his cloak as a blanket on the straw.

Some poor and lowly shepherds were the first to visit their new-born King. Finally, the Three Kings arrived to pay him homage. But they couldn’t relax.

An angel told Joseph he had to leave – immediately – during the night – because Jesus’ life was in danger. They had to go to Egypt. Imagine trying to face this journey – with not much notice – gathering a few meagre supplies for this long journey through the desert.

When they got there, they were in a strange land. Joseph had to somehow work and provide for his family. But he trusted in God and finally was told – 7 years later, that it was safe to return.

The Book of Truth describes some of these difficulties:

“When my time approached, every obstacle, planted by the spirit of evil, was placed before us, every step we took. Doors were slammed in our faces; people we knew shunned us and we were cast out into the wilderness. And so we ended up without a roof over our heads and in a shelter fit only for animals, while the Holy Messiah came into the world as a pauper. There were no ceremonies, no coronation, no acknowledgements. There were only a few people left to comfort me in my loneliness. But then, when my Son was born, all feelings of anxiety left me. All I felt was a love of the most Divine Presence. Peace finally reigned in my Heart.   …

When it was made known that Jesus Christ, the Messiah promised to humanity, was born, the opposition began to mount. The vicious attack by Herod and all his servants, demonstrated how much the Presence of God puts fear into the hearts of evil men.

From that day forward, I became the protector of my Son and my beloved spouse, Joseph, organized our safety on many occasions after that. We spent many years fleeing from one place to another. So much opposition we faced – so much fear, so much hatred. That was our lot…

And now that His Second Coming is imminent, every obstacle will be placed before His Arrival. Every Word out of the mouth of His prophet will be torn asunder and mocked. Only a handful of people will be privy to the Truth surrounding this Mission and many doors will be slammed in the faces of those who follow His instructions. This Mission is a lonely one for you, my child, and you are instructed to remain obedient in all things made known to you by God. …”

So for us, too, in the face of all difficulties, the presence of  Jesus brings us peace.

Families today also suffer persecution – also from their own (eg the Catholic Church today and from many of the bishops and priests).

We are all part of God’s family – the Christian family. They still want to kill Jesus  (Head of our family) – to get rid of God in the world. They have introduced paganism, changed  and questioned church teachings, blasphemed against Jesus and our Holy Mother Mary. Some do not want to recognise the True Father of Jesus or to recognise Him as His Son.

Let’s not forget the power of the Holy Rosary.  It is our weapon. It will bind the evil one. We need to do this now, more than ever. We need it for protection. Remember the miracles of Lepanto, Vienna, Hiroshima, Brazil …? There are many other amazing miracles. It is the prayer that Our lady asked us to pray in many of her apparitions.

To pray this together in our families today, and everyday,  is a must!

We have to safeguard our own immediate families and keep them true to God and to their Faith, and in so doing, we can help to keep the True Faith, and God, present in the world today, in order to defeat evil.

After Mass today, our priest led the congregation in the following prayer:

Consecration to the Holy Family

“O Jesus, our most loving Redeemer, who having come to enlighten the world with Thy teaching and example, didst will to pass the greater part of Thy life in humility and subjection to Mary and Joseph in the poor home of Nazareth, thus sanctifying the Family that was to be an example for all Christian families, graciously receive our family as it dedicates and consecrates itself to Thee this day. Do Thou defend us, guard us and establish amongst us The holy fear, true peace, and concord in Christian love: in order that, by conforming ourselves to the divine pattern of Thy family, we may be able, all of us without exception, to attain to eternal happiness.

Mary, dear Mother of Jesus and Mother of us, by thy kindly intercession make this our humble offering acceptable in the sight of Jesus, and obtain for us His graces and blessings.

O Saint Joseph, most holy guardian of Jesus and Mary, assist us by thy prayers in all our spiritual and temporal necessities, that so we may be enabled to praise our divine Saviour Jesus, together with Mary and thee, for all eternity. Amen.”

Matthew 18:21

The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant. 21 Then Peter approaching asked him, “Lord, if my brother sins against me, how often must I forgive him? As many as seven times?” 22 Jesus answered, “I say to you, not seven times but seventy-seven times. 23That is why the kingdom of heaven may be likened to a king who decided to settle accounts with his servants. 24 When he began the accounting, a debtor was brought before him who owed him a huge amount. 25 Since he had no way of paying it back, his master ordered him to be sold, along with his wife, his children, and all his property, in payment of the debt. 26 At that, the servant fell down, did him homage, and said, ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay you back in full.’ 27 Moved with compassion the master of that servant let him go and forgave him the loan. 28 When that servant had left, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a much smaller amount. He seized him and started to choke him, demanding, ‘Pay back what you owe.’ 29 Falling to his knees, his fellow servant begged him, ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay you back.’ 30 But he refused. Instead, he had him put in prison until he paid back the debt. 31 Now when his fellow servants saw what had happened, they were deeply disturbed, and went to their master and reported the whole affair. 32 His master summoned him and said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you your entire debt because you begged me to. 33 Should you not have had pity on your fellow servant, as I had pity on you?’ 34 Then in anger his master handed him over to the torturers until he should pay back the whole debt. 35 So will my heavenly Father do to you, unless each of you forgives his brother from his heart.”

Readings from the Book of Truth

And then, just as they will have forgotten Me, My Church will rise from the dead, just as I did

19 May 2013 @ 8:08pm

My dearly beloved daughter, death will no longer have power, over those of God’s children who love Him, in My New Paradise.

These Messages, sadly, will bring unnecessary fear, to those who believe that when this Earth is discarded in favour of the New Heaven and Earth, that they will face death. This is not true. Those who find favour with Me and who accept My Hand of Mercy will be given the Gift of life. Even atheists, non-believers, non-Christians and those of every faith will turn to Me and accept My Gift, after The Warning takes place. This is when I will defeat the beast, for I will give Eternal Life to billions of souls who are alive in the world.

Sin, introduced to Adam and Eve by the beast, will cease to exist. My Mercy will defeat it. And just as sin destroys the body, My Light will bring to humanity Eternal Life. Death, disease, old age, will no longer exist in My New Paradise. My chosen children – billions of them – will have a perfect body and soul, in union with the Divine Will of My Father.

He, My Father, gave Eternal Life to Adam and Eve and they rejected it. And so, they and all their descendants were denied the Gift of Paradise and Eternal Life. Now at last, this will change. My Life, Death and Resurrection must now be re-enacted in this, the final part of My Covenant. My Church has, just as I was, been persecuted and it will now endure a savage beating, a painful attack and what will appear to be a crushing defeat. And when it has been crucified and thrown aside, it will seem to be burned and forgotten.

Paganism will thrive. But because it will be influenced and led by the evil one, it will be careful not to show its true colours. It will be presented to the world as a new form of social justice – a new form of humanism, when all the needs of man are catered for. These needs will include the right to sin, but these sins will, in defiance of God, be seen to be the moral rights of man.

How abhorrent to Me, Jesus Christ, will this wicked, one world religion be. Not only will they turn their backs on Me, but they will include satanic symbols where My Cross will be displayed, in the most grotesque way. My Host will be discarded. A different kind of sacrifice will be made on the altars of churches. It will be the beast they will worship openly, and in turn, he will give them many powers. This is why many will believe that those who will govern over this abomination will have miraculous powers. And while they may seem to be following a good and fair church, it will yield nothing but darkness.

Celebrations and obscene behaviour will be witnessed in these churches, which were built to honour Me, Jesus Christ, but I will not be Present. And then, just as they will have forgotten Me, My Church will rise from the dead, just as I did. It will become alive again in public places. Then I will gather all of My children who remained faithful to My Word and those whose eyes were opened to the Truth. Then we will ascend, along with those who have awaited the Great Day, but who are dead, into the New Paradise.

Those who refuse Me, after every attempt has been made by Me to salvage their souls, will be cast away. Then, My Reign will begin and the Kingdom promised to Me by My Father will be formed.

Never fear the future, for only My New Kingdom will satisfy your poor, sorrowful hearts. Only My New Kingdom will give you Eternal Life.

You must pray for each and every one of you, so that you are made worthy to receive this Great Gift.

Your Jesus

A soul cannot be made whole again until it recognises the Greatness of God

9 August 2013 @ 4:50pm

My dearly beloved daughter, people do not understand fully what it means to be in union with My Heart. I, Jesus Christ, came to free humanity from its slavery to sin. Sin was created when Lucifer believed that he was greater than God. Because of his wicked jealousy, he tempted man – God’s first children, Adam and Eve – to turn away from Him.

My death gave all of God’s children the Gift of salvation. Many people in the world, of all creeds, including those who do not believe in God or those who deny God and place false idols before Him, are all offered the Gift of salvation. Not all will accept this Gift. I come to each of you as a Saviour. I will come before each of you, to prove to you the Truth, before the final day. I will come to offer the Gift of Eternal Life even to those who have sinned gravely in the Eyes of God.

The Glory of God is your way forward and in order to receive this Gift all you have to do is to accept My Mercy. God is Almighty, Powerful and is Perfect in every way. He is much loved by all of the angels and saints in Heaven. He is much loved by many souls who are alive in the world today. All will witness His Great Glory in the New Heaven and the New Earth.

God does not need man. It is only because of His Love for man that He sends Me, His beloved Son, once again to bring them the Eternal Life, which He has promised. This is why He is Patient. This is why He turns a blind Eye to sin, in hope that His children will turn to Him and accept His Love.

Love is powerful when it is pure and comes from God. When the soul is pure, it will easily be drawn into the Love of God. Souls, who need to be cleansed, will accept the Love of God, if they accept the suffering which is needed to make them whole again. A soul cannot be made whole again until it recognises the Greatness of God and bows before Him in humble servitude.

Every single sinner will be given the chance to reach out to God. Those who do will be lavished with My Mercy.

Your Jesus

The intentions of Bergoglio in his Christmas address to the Curia, 2019

AM+DG

The Christmas address of (Pope) Francis on December 21 to the Roman Curia can be found at: http://www.vatican.va/content/francesco/en/speeches/2019/december/documents/papa-francesco_20191221_curia-romana.htm

In his address, the FP/PF quotes popes and saints but everything he says is twisted and taken out of context or he does so to advance a hidden agenda. His address is riddled with the word “change” (30 times) and references to “humanism”.

His true goals are humanistic: not just to “change” but to get rid of Faith in God altogether.

A few of the FP/PF’s statements:

(Comments from Remnant Child of Mary and Remnant Survivor are in red)

“behind every form of rigidity lies some kind of imbalance…(If being rigid means to be faithful to Christ and his teachings- then yes, all Christians faithful to the 10 commandments and to Christ’s teachings are mentally unstable- according to FP. In actual fact, remaining true is the only form of sanity.)

“inevitability and necessity of change in the Church(Both are these assertations are lies. All that Christ asks is that we stay true. God and His teachings are not changeable or in need of change. Read these scriptures: Psalm 119:89
Your word, O LORD, is everlasting; it is firmly fixed in the heavens.

Isaiah 51:6
Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look at the earth below; for the heavens will vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment, and its people will die like gnats. But My salvation will last forever, and My righteousness will never fail.)

“Brothers and sisters, Christendom no longer exists

(Not if he has his way!! Is that meant to make us feel that Christianity is no longer powerful or important? In actual fact Christendom refers to the worldwide Christian community. Of course, it still exists but he (the False Prophet) would like to make us believe that it does not!)

“… tradition does not preserve ashes; the nostalgia of fundamentalists (is) to return to the ashes.”

(In reality, all faithful Catholics hold onto “tradition.” In 2 Thessalonians 2: 14- 15 St Paul teaches us to stand firm:
14”To this He called you through our gospel, so that you may share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15Therefore, brothers, stand firm and cling to the traditions we taught you, whether by speech or by letter.” He equates tradition with fundamentalism and nostalgia- and speaks of it in a derogatory way. He actually is inferring that the fundamental or main teachings and traditions are now ‘ashes’! Well actually, any true Catholic is a “fundamentalist” because it means that we know the important teachings which underpin our Faith and remain faithful to them. We are not persuaded by strange or other doctrines. This is a badge of honour and a necessity- to not to be swayed from the Truth!)

“...change …would become something more human and more Christian Change would still take place, but beginning with man as its centre: an anthropological conversion.”

(The centre of our Faith is Christ. If man were at the centre, then we would have no Faith in Christ. In fact this would be “Humanism” and is related to all the “isms”: Communism, Relativism, Marxism…Our Faith and the Church’s teachings as handed down by Jesus Christ and the Apostles make up the fullness of Faith. There is nothing more Christian, nothing better and nothing that is more needed than for humans to faithfully respond to what Christ taught us. Man at the centre offends God and this sort of heresy or ‘conversion’ would lead people into believing that men are gods.)

“.. there is a need to be wary of the temptation to rigidity.

(How about:  to be wary of the temptation to heresy?)

“A rigidity born of the fear of change, which ends up erecting fences and obstacles on the terrain of the common good, (ie. Marxist)turning it into a minefield of incomprehension and hatred.”

(Change is not feared by any true Catholic or Christian. Change is constantly expected of us until we become saints and fully reflect the glory of God. The only obstacles we erect are those which are defences against those who wish to steal our souls. We do not bend towards sin and urge others to stand firm in the Faith as well. If that makes us rigid, so be it! There is a need to be wary of the temptation to heresy and sin, of a rigidity towards God, not anything else.)

The FP twists everything. He keeps repeating the same words – rigidity, traditionalists, fundamentalists, change …it is a type of brainwashing. If he says it often enough, people will be won over. After all, they won’t want to be seen as rigid, averse to change, or reluctant to embrace new ideas- or other creeds!

In the Book of Truth, Jesus warns us:

“…You will betray Me; deny Me and embrace My enemies, for you will be so caught up in the new religion – the secular humanism, which will come as a wolf dressed in sheep’s clothing to devour you – that I will be forgotten. Your ambition and desire to please those enemies of Mine, who will rise to great heights, within the echelons of My Church will blind you to the Truth. This will be the cause of your demise and all those whom you will pull into grave error.

It is when My Church turns My Teachings upside down; inside out and back to front, that you will know that the time has come for the antichrist to take centre stage. Those who worship the beast will sign their own death warrant and will hand over their free will, a Sacred Gift from God, to My enemies. Once you swear an oath to this new false doctrine, you will be guilty of crucifying Me and your punishment will be severe. …” (30 June 2014 @ 11:50pm)

Luckily, we have this alternate form of communication i.e. the internet (“Secret Channel” – see message below) from faith-filled  journalists, priests and bloggers who help us to see the truth; … ‘alternate’ as in a different form of communication from the official mainstream media. It is a lack of information and blatantly evil propaganda through the mainstream media that has caused so many people all over the world to be deceived and brainwashed about what is happening.

Jesus warns the media and explains this to us in the Book of Truth:

  “…Media Censorship

To the media, I have this to say. As communicators to the world, the arrogance you display today will turn to despair when your word is no longer heard. You too will soon realize the importance of prayer when mankind turns from the Truth. Your word today can still represent the important independent truth. But this gift will now be taken away from you. Instead, the Truth will now be hidden from mankind through the dictatorship you are about to witness during the Great Tribulation. Then your word will be denied, just as My Word is.

The “Secret Channel” of Communication

No one will listen to you because the only word delivered to mankind, which will have any impact, will be by the Secret Channel delivered to the world through technology. You will find yourself in the wilderness and will end up trying to communicate to a disbelieving world, just as I do at this point in time, when your word is not heard….” (01 January 2011 @ 02:00am)

The papal Christmas address to the Roman Curia: A Creed of Postmodernism

The author states: This is a creed of postmodernism, and it looks like a formal declaration of war upon the orthodoxy and the Catholicity of the Faith.  …

“These attempts to destroy the very core of what it is to be a human person created in hope for salvation by Almighty God cannot possibly succeed, but the damage that is being done to the Faithful and the Faith by the proclamation of such nonsense from the highest step of the ecclesial authority is incalculable in extent.

Take note that this “the common good” is pure Marxist terminology, redolent of the “Common Purpose” lobby group, the UN, and of straightforward Freemasonry. It seeks to crush the individual in the name of some collective and indeed collectivist ideology of so-called “progress”. …

…it is a text proclaiming a deep ideological division between an “us” and a “them” — it is foully schismatic in purpose and in nature, which therefore constitutes a willful and deliberate declaration of a heresy as that is the very core definition of what Heresy is.

The breakdown in the societal order is not just normal decay. We are in a spiritual battle – what do we do?

How do you navigate the situation on a natural level?

St Thomas Aquinas said:

If you want to achieve an end, you require a means. The means is affected by circumstances, which affect how well you achieve your means. The end is the salvation of your soul. There are two sets of means – the natural and the supernatural.

Modernism

(At 4.52)  because of modernism – the synthesis of all heresy – and because its tendency is to make the individual the principal of judgment of right and wrong, transposing it from God to us – it is the diabolic heresy as it makes us the standard of judgment based on how they feel or relate to the thing. There was a constant training in the school to judge the truth of a proposition based on themselves and how they felt in relation to it.

As to modernism in the Church, it began a long time ago. The formal inauguration of it was considered the heresy of liberalism in the document Mirari Vos by Pope Gregory XVI in 1832. Modernism gets more and more developed and it has five stages which can be read here in this article: The operative points of view, linked:

http://www.christianorder.com/features/features_2001/features_mar01.html

We are now in stage 5 which is the superficial stage. All the intellectual gas has run out and the stuff we are hearing is just silly and makes no sense. We are living in a stage in which modernism is just dumb and doesn’t follow any rational principles. Because of the nature of modernism and because it is pervasive and touches on every facet of the Church, there is not one single doctrine, one single liturgical practice or one single devotion they haven’t messed with. The big hold was the rite of exorcism but they got to playing with that too. It’s literally one of those things that they had to change it all but they did it very slowly and very subtly.

What this means is that because it is in every facet of catholic life, YOU DO NOT HAVE THE LIBERTY OF IGNORANCE.

Importance of Knowledge

If you do not do serious and hard study of your Catholic faith, you will end up a heretic unless God gives you extraordinary grace and that is not too common. Knowledge is what is required and it either comes through grace which enlightens the mind and strengthens the will or through serious study.

(At 9.00): if you think you already have this extraordinary grace you are already deluded, and I say this as a former pastor and rector of churches in the traditional movement. Every traditionalist thinks that they have the doctrinal world by the tail and all you have to do is scratch a little bit and some heresy will float to the top. This is because a lot of the stuff in the Church’s teachings requires great precision and distinction which most traditionalists do not know.

So, for example, when you hear people debating whether the Pope is a heretic. All the saints are clear on their teaching that once a pope lapses into heresy, HE LOSES HIS OFFICE AS POPE. When you hear that discussion, no one is talking about whether he was a heretic before, when his election was valid or not, and once he is Pope, what are the distinctions and how does it work out – no one is talking about that, not even the guys who look like they know what they are talking about.

If you really think you do not suffer from imminence in some fashion, you are already deluded. It is part of original sin. The reason why modernism is such a pervasive heresy and is so difficult is because of the fact that when Eve chose to eat the fruit then Adam after her, they were choosing themselves over the will of God. That stuck all of us with a form of selfishness and self-centredness that has to be ground out in a brutal fashion over years usually unless God gives you a lot of grace (11.11). Therefore, the principle to judge things in light of yourself is there already and is a problem. There is a tendency to presume you know everything. You need to study and presume your ignorance. As Plato said, the more you know, the more you know you don’t know. You must continue working on your knowledge of the faith. Recognise some questions are above your pay grade. For example, what you do with a heretical Pope is above virtually everyone’s pay grade except for a very small hand full of theologians. Don’t even get involved in that discussion as a general rule. You need to study hard.

The Virtue of Faith purifies the intellect

St Thomas calls the virtue of faith when God infuses it – the first purification of the intellect. What that means is that the faith teaches us our relationship to God, the truth of that relationship and the relationship with the created order. Working on the faith will assist this tremendously. This also means, as a general rule, do not get involved in blogs or forums. It’s a waste of time, people just don’t get it. In the past, Canon law forbade the laity from entering into discussions of theology or philosophy without the permission of their bishop. Make sure what you study is correct – preferably the saints and what was written before the Council. It is a long arduous task. Study the moral doctrine of the Church. Ecclesiology, theology of revelation (deals with the structure of tradition) and how it works – why? Because modernism is a deviation because it transposes the objective criteria for what you believe from an external magisterium which is actually handing on objective revelation from generation to generation to oneself. If you do not understand how that mechanism works, you are likely to end up with a lot of problems. Try to obtain Spirago’s – The Catechism Explained. It’s the Catechism of the Council of Trent with a lot of explanation. You then need to read beyond this. You have to study the real theological disciplines. Read the Papal documents eg Libertas Praestantissimum, Humani Generis, Pascendi Dominici Gregis. The clarity in Church documents is astounding. Build a repertoire of knowledge about the things the Church has always taught in relation to salvation.

The importance of the family structure

Then work on restructuring your family. The attack on the family has been key in undermining the psychological, moral and spiritual development in people. The destruction of manhood, and along with it, what it means to be a true father and husband, has resulted in a huge destruction on a moral level.

The Fathers of the Church state that it pertains to the father to confirm the moral code. The mother may teach the children the moral law, eg don’t steal but it is up to the father to tell the child, listen to your mother and do not steal. He has to take on the role as the head of the household but which is not done for his sake but for the sake of his wife and his children.

Women have to work on subordination. Get out of the workforce if you can for the simple reason that most women are happier when they are at home with their children. God structures women that way psychologically. Whatever work you do, it is far less noble work than forming the mind of a child. The reason we know this is because in the natural law it is the man’s job to work for the sake of the wife and children so she can stay home to do her work.

Children have to work on obedience and piety. The normal family structure has to be re-established. Piety is the virtue by which we give honour to our superiors. It is completely gone. The restructuring also has to find a proper ordering in relation to the spiritual life. Even though, as a general rule, women are given more grace than men, the fact is that it is the father’s place to direct the spiritual life of the family.

Fathers need to assume the headship of the spiritual life and pursing perfection himself. The restructuring of the family life is the only way to restore order in society. Men from the very beginning have treated women badly but that doesn’t mean the proper order within the family should be undone. The biggest mistake made in feminism is the idea that the work of a woman is less noble, not just in relation to the formation of the mind of the children but also in taking care of the home. Even in its drudgery, it provides a suitability to the lives of the husband and children which would otherwise be lost. The basic building block of society is the family, not the individual.

In relation to voting, there were only two people who could vote in the past; the man who is head of his household and land owners. The man used to vote and represented the basic building block of society. When women started to vote, you split that basic building block. The land owners had a vested interest in making sure that the government didn’t get out of hand in relation to entitlement programs as it would undermine his productivity in the end.

The problems of Feminism

Eventually the Church will have to condemn feminism while at the same time upholding the perfections which are proper to the feminine nature. One of the problems of feminism is that it degrades the perfections of feminine nature. The fact that a woman is more emotional for the sake of empathy with her child. Where the child doesn’t have the proper empathy with the mother in the first 2 – 5 years of a child’s life, the child ends up with disaffective disorders where they cant emotionally bond with people. Psychologists have done studies and the one thing that all mass murderer teens have in common is that they were all put in daycare. The point is that the perfections of women have been degraded by the feminist movement so they pursue those illusionary things proper to men.

If you look at the punishment that God gave Adam and Eve, He said to Eve that she will bear children in pain. That’s her punishment. So what does she do? She wants to take on Adam’s punishment – to work by the sweat of your brow. Why are you assuming both punishments? Feminism is really self-hatred, it’s a manifestation of hatred of what its really like to be a woman.

Chastisements

We are entering the stage where we could have this chastisement. God could do things differently but it looks like it is coming. At least from what Our Lady says, it is leading up. People ask how to prepare for it.

(At 33.45) – In Scripture, Christ presented the parable of the man who was building towers, and He noted how foolish that was because that night, he was going to die. The point is that you need to be spiritually prepared. You can make preparation but if you are not spiritually prepared, you will be a mess, no matter what you do. You will not be able to psychologically handle it.

Our food supply it is very tenuous. In the average grocery store, there is between 2-3 days supply of food up to a maximum of two weeks. That’s it. In most areas, there is not much being grown locally, and so we rely on food from trucking from all over the place. Natural prudence dictates that you should have a certain amount of food on hand. You should have some basic food storage and water supply. Don’t think that in having this that you are safe. If you have a food supply, you better also have an ammunition supply (joking). Don’t think this will save you or make your life easier.

Remember to whom the effects of the chastisement extends is entirely the choice of God. You can pray that you are spared the effects of it. Our Lady said it will affect the good priests and the faithful. It will affect all of us and all the prepping in the world will not make it easier if God chooses otherwise.

Some basic things that you need to do:

  1. You need to start reading and becoming more knowledgeable about the faith so you can navigate the problems occulting in the Church on a natural level.
  2. Get your family ordered so that it does not end up succumbing to the basic problems.
  3. Do those natural things to be able to survive a societal collapse.

The only reason our society has not collapsed is because of technology. Every other culture in the history of humanity that has become this disordered has never survived this long. We are propping it up by technology and by fraud. The reason we have a prosperous economy – we keep propping it up with the creation of money out of thin air. This cannot be done forever.

You should have a decent knowledge, according to your state in life, about what is really going on in the world. If you believe what you see on the TV is truth, you need to think twice. The people who are evil are systematically lying and manipulating us. It is a fact that in the US, the government started social experiments after WW2 to carry out operation Paperclip where they brougt scientists from Germany, whitewashed their war crimes and used them to do social engineering and restructuring. Eg the anti-smoking laws in the US were modelled on the anti-smoking campaign in Nazi Germany, and was very successful.

You need a Catholic understanding of what is going on. The knowledge will give you a perspective and the family will give you the structure to have the normalcy of life. We are living in an insane society, and the more insane it gets, the more unlike the normal family structure it will be.

We are in free fall. As the society continues to decay, and the decline will only be stopped if God puts the breaks on it, it is declining in such a manner that in the end you are going to be the one who is considered evil. You will be the one who is considered out of your mind even though you are the only sane one.

That means you are going to have to take a spiritual approach to your relationship with people in the Church and in society, which will be discussed in the next conference.

Just accept that things will get worse. You can do all these things on a natural level but in the end, you need to have your spiritual life in order.

Thoughts for the 12th Day of Christmas: The Eucharist, Christmas and the Manger

AM+DG

The Eucharist, Christmas and the Manger

St. Luke places an extremely high value on the Eucharist, and it is a major point of emphasis woven into the fabric of his Gospel from beginning to end. He artfully inserts a curious detail into his birth account to begin to state his case: Mary “gave birth to her firstborn son … and laid him in a manger” (Lk 2:7). The manger is mentioned twice more in verses 12 and 16.

A manger is a feeding trough for animals. It is made of wood or stone, located on the ground or slightly above the ground, and contains hay or grain for cattle, horses, donkeys and other animals. It is not very sanitary, and it often is cold and damp. What mother would place her baby in a manger? She would hold her newborn child in her arms or lay it in a crib.

This detail would have jumped off the page for Luke’s first readers, and it should stand out as peculiar to us. Luke is hoping that we will be wondering, “Why is baby Jesus in a manger?”

Animals approached the manger anytime, day or night, for food. The farmer was concerned about his animals and was careful to be sure that there would be feed in the trough at all times so the animals would be well-fed, healthy and strong.

The shepherds represent people everywhere, and as the animals approached the manger for food, the shepherds approached the manger to feast their eyes upon Jesus, and the infant in the manger would be the one to feed their souls, both with his word and the Eucharist, the great banquet feast of his Body and Blood.

The manger on Christmas anticipates the table at the Last Supper, and as the owner of the animals made sure that his animals would be well-fed to provide for their physical health, the infant Jesus would feed his sheep to provide for their spiritual health.

The manger begins a feeding or banquet theme that surfaces multiple times throughout Luke’s Gospel. Only Luke mentions that Jesus’ disciples “eat and drink” (Lk 5:33), that Jesus was accused of being “a glutton and a drunkard” (Lk 7:34), and that Jesus dined three times at the home of a Pharisee (Lk 7:36; 11:37; 14:1). Luke alone has two banquet parables, the parables of the Guests at the Banquet (Lk 14:7-14) and the Great Feast (Lk14:15-24), both of which look ahead to the banquet of the Last Supper and further ahead to the eternal banquet in heaven (Lk 22:30).

Luke also reports how Levi gave a banquet for Jesus (Lk 5:29), and how Jesus miraculously fed a crowd of 5,000 (Lk 9:10-17). Beginning with the manger, it all points to the Last Supper.

The infant in the manger would be the one who would take bread and say, “This is my body” (Lk 22:19), and a cup of wine and say, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood” (Lk 22:20). And wanting to provide ongoing spiritual sustenance, he told his disciples to “Do this in memory of me” (Lk 22:19b). Then Jesus showed them how to re-enact the Eucharist when he broke bread with two of his disciples on Easter Sunday night at Emmaus (Lk 24:30).

The early Christian community took Jesus’ instruction to heart, and from the outset they devoted themselves “to the breaking of the bread” (Acts 2:42).

Most religious artists portray the infant Jesus in the manger on a bed of hay or straw, but those who grasp the Eucharist connection show him on a bed of wheat. (For example, note the wheat depicted in the stained glass window on page 1.) Luke would have us approach the manger and feast our eyes upon Jesus because the newborn child is food for our souls.

Prophecy and Our Lady’s View of Our Times: Part 1

AM+DG

Recently, Fr. Chad Ripperger posted a video entitled Our Times Part I: Our Lady’s View of Our Times “. (To see it click on the link at the end of this post.) I find that there are so many good priests trying to teach us and prepare us, but I don’t have the time to watch them all. A friend compiled and sent me a summary of this talk. It is handy to have a written article – it is easier than to sit through it, especially when you just want to check something in it. Also it is a handy tool to print out and email or post it around to friends. I reproduced her summary (below), although I added the coloured highlighting,  paragraphing and the paragraph headings. The link to the video is below.

If you don’t already know the story of Our lady of Good Success at Quito, it is worth reading.

Summary of Fr. Ripperger’s talk

 Our Lady of Good Success:

In 1610- (note Freemasonry established 1717 at Grand Lodge in England) – She spoke of that time from the end of the 19th century, half way through 20th century, so 1950s to 1960s. The passions will erupt in and there will be a total corruptions of customs . Satan will reign almost completely by way of masonic sects. (This was announced before the masons came onto the scene.) They will focus principally on children in order to sustain this general corruption. Education today is through secularized school system – they have no problem with communism as a result.

Sacrilege against the Sacraments

Enormous sacrileges, both public and private, resulting in profanation of the holy Eucharist. What is being stacked is the doctrine that you have to be in a state of grace to receive. The enemies of Jesus Christ will steal the most holy Eucharist to desecrate them. The sacrament of Extreme Unction will not be valued. Some will not receive their last rites as just punishment from God.  Matrimony will be attacked. Freemasons pushed for divorce laws and same sex marriage.

Mental Illness

50 years ago if you suggested two men could be married, you’d be put into a mental institution, now it’s accepted. It is a sign of mass insanity. Mental illness is that your intellect is not seeing reality for what it is. It is a result of sin in large part. God gives us over to our passions. The midrash – jewish text – a commentary on various aspects of scripture – quasi- authoritative among the Jews. Written 1000- 500 years before Christ. It states the reason that God pulled the plug on Noah was because men started to enter into contracts with men – that’s is gay marriage. After the Flood, God puts the rainbow as the symbol of Peace with man. So homosexuals take the symbol for their own – a slap in the face to God.

Less than 5% of the marriages going for annulments are between two Catholics, most are mixed marriages and there is a complete breakdown of the family unit.

Feminism

There is an unwillingness for women to live by the scriptures to submit to their husbands feminism. Feminism is the product of Communism which is a brainchild of freemasonry. Feminists who are deeply into it are miserable. Men aren’t being men.

Rights of parents and modesty

Fathers do not require modesty of their daughter –( at 18.36). God created in women a natural inclination towards modesty, it still pertains to the fathers to ensure that the natural law dictates of modesty are being met. Modesty does not refer only to dress but also foul language. Children are not taught discipline. Electronics are in every aspect of life fracturing the family. The mindset that the state has a right of the family – is completely false – the natural law rights over the children pertain to the parents.

Communism in education and government

Our Lady said, the Catholic spirit will rapidly decay, the precious light of faith will extinguish until there will be a total corruption of customs. Added to this will be the effect of secular education which will be one reason for the death of religious and priestly vocations. In the book – School of Darkness by Bella Dodd, she recounts in detail the communists systematically took control of the educational associations and systems in the USA. She also recounts that the communists systematically took control of large sections of the government. Our Lady stated that if her request is heeded, Russia will convert and there will be peace referring to her future Fatima request. Otherwise, Russia will spread her errors throughout the world causing wars and persecutions of the Church.

Russia’s errors are not just communistic governmental systems –

  • it’s feminism which comes from Vladimir Lenin where he lays out the whole feminist movement which is entrenched in our society today,
  • they wanted to destroy the family – they outlawed marriage when the communists first got in power but it caused economic devastation so they brought it back in, and after that they outlawed homosexuality because they saw the economic devastation of it and that’s why they are still against it today ironically;
  • State takes over education of the children;
  • State takes over all religions, which are sub-ordinate to the state.

The U..S is thoroughly communist. How you can tell: when the primary consideration for an election is the economy – the communists have already won. For the communists, the only thing that is important is the economy. Whereas the common good of the citizenry is not, but should be the most important.

Oppression of Holy Orders and Pedophilia

Our Lady (at 24.40 )- the holy Sacrament of Holy Orders will be ridiculed, oppressed and despised. In this sacrament, God himself is scorned and despised since He is represented in His priests. The devil will try to persecute the Ministers of the Lord in every possible way. He will deviate them from the spirit of their vocation and will corrupt many of them. They will scandalize the Christian people, make hatred of bad catholic and the blame fall on all priests. The problem of pedophilia began in 1940s. In 1961, a document was put out by Congregation for religious and in it, they say stop ordaining the homosexuals and pedophiles. It was a private letter sent to head of religious communities. After WW2, there was a collapse of morality and allowing these people into the seminaries. It became a full blown problem in the 1990s.

The greater scandal is not the pedophilia but the treatment of it. Once established to be true, they should have been laicized and sent to civil authorities. Instead, they are moved place to place. Bella Dodd, after being converted under Fulton Sheen, said that the Communist party in US alone got 1000 into the seminaries in 1940s and 1950s. Communism is the brainchild of freemasonry and it’s the freemasons that are pushing same-sex marriage.

World Elite – pedophilia, occult worship

There is another component. In last part of Wikileaks, the world elite, including Clintons, were involved in pedophilia. Hilary Clinton was involved in the occult. Former senator wrote a book, called the Franklin Cover-Up, which uncovered the CIA and FBI cover-up of pedophilia of the world elite. Many of the heads of state are involved in occult worship – 80% of politicians have been to San Francisco to go through open rituals to Moloch, (that demon associated with the Pachamama). Switzerland opened up a tunnel last year which was overt Balphamet worship, all the heads of state were there and didn’t flinch.

The percentage from three university studies of pedophiles in the priesthood is 1.25% but the media pinned it on all priests. The real scandal (notwithstanding the incalculable damage caused) is how the bishops handled it. 2.75% of the general population of religious are pedophiles including protestants and rabbis, so less than half are Catholic priests. Of professionals, eg doctors, lawyers, the percentage is 8%. Of high school teachers, its 10%.

Suffering to good priests

(34.25) – Our Lady said this apparent triumph of satan will bring enormous suffering to good pastors of the church. Many good priests and the Vicar of Christ who a prisoner in the Vatican will shed secret and bitter tears, beseeching light and sanctity for the clergy of the world for whom he is father. Further in these unhappy times, there will be unbridled luxury which will ensnare the rest into sin and conquer innumerous who will be lost. “Unbridled luxury” is a literal translation which is not right in the context. “Luxuria” in latin and in the romance languages means lust. This is why Our Lady of Fatima said more people go to hell for sins of the flesh – and not because they are the most grievous but because they are the most common and least likely to be repented of.

Sins of the flesh – lust and immodesty

People are unrepented. People have no shame whatsoever. Shame is the perception of being perceived as lowly. Our Lady said innocence will almost no longer be found in children or modesty in women. Certain fashions will be introduced which will offend Our Lord very much. The collapse of modesty is so profound in relationship to dress that even women who don’t have the intention of being immodest don’t have a clue that they are actually immodest. Pope Pius XI said that a dress cannot be considered to be decent – at 37.13 –  which is cut deeper than two fingers below the pit of the throat, covers the arms at least to the elbow, and extends a bit beyond the knees.

Blasphemy and Sacrilege

During that epoch, Our Lady said, the Church will find itself attacked by terrible hordes of the masonic sect. The vices of impurity, blasphemy and sacrilege will dominate in this time of depraved desolation. One who would speak out would be silent. She is talking about our times and a little bit before. The spirit of impurity will saturate those times. Like a filthy ocean it will inundate the streets, squares and public places with an astonishing liberty. Custody of the senses is not enough, you have to have custody of the mind. There will be almost no virgin souls in the world.

How the Church will suffer in that occasion the dark night for a prelate and father to watch over them with fraternal love, gentleness, strength and prudence. Many priests will lose their spirit placing their souls in great danger.

What Saints have said about priests in the Church in these times:

St John Eudes the greatest chastisement that God can give to a people is giving them bad priests.

At Akita the work of the devil will infiltrate into the Church so that bishop will be against bishop.

Modernism and lack of great theologians – heresy

We now live in a spirit of modernism the syntheses of all heresy. Because people decide what is right for them, and not an objective truth which gives rise to cafeteria catholics, there is not a single heresy which is not resurfacing. Modernism is so rife that unless you have a theological and philosophical background or extraordinary grace then you will fall into it. There is a complete collapse in philosophy and theology. There are no more great theologians.

Unusual power of devils

At La Salette:The Vicar of my Son will suffer a great deal because for a large time the Church will yield to large persecution, a time of darkness and the church will witness a frightful crisis”  Our Lady sees this time as a crisis.

Before his death, St Francis called his friars together and gave this prophesy.. “the devils will have unusual power” As an exorcist, the resilience of the demons is unprecedented. Before the mid-60s, when you received faculties for a case of possession, it was over. Within a few days, the demons were out. The average case of possession now takes an average of between 10 months and two years to break and they are extraordinarily resilient to your prayers.

We were warned – St Francis, Our Lady of La Salette, Akita

St Francis -“In those days, Jesus Christ will not send them a true pastor but a destroyer.”    You must interpret prophesy formally, and not extrapolate. Look at the words themselves. Jesus is doing this, He is in control. Unless you acknowledge the problem, it can’t be fixed – He is exposing it.

Climate Change even when they get caught faking the numbers and the data they still keep pushing it. We live in the age of fairytales. Christ predicted this … “In the end times, they will be carried off in fairytales.”

Our Lady at La Salette all the civil governments will have one and the same plan to abolish and do away with every religious principle to make way for materialism, atheism, spiritualism (another name for the occult) and vices of all kinds.

At Akita, in order that the world might know His anger, the Father has prepared a great chastisement. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as has never been seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and wipe out a great part of humanity. (She didn’t say greater, so it will be less than 50% but a large percentage), the good as well as the bad sparing neither priest or faithful.

Be prepared

How do you prepare for this? The survivors will be so desolate that they will envy the dead.

This is a battle between good and evil and the outcome depends largely on us. If we pray, do penance and sacrifices. A vast portion of the graces come into the world by our prayers, sufferings and good works.

All the grace comes into the world by the Catholic Church.

To get the benefit of all the discussion, you can watch Fr. Ripperger’s video here (it is well worth it):
