Bishop Schneider’s advice to Parents

+AMDG+

In a recent article Bishop Schneider has acknowledged the fears and the reality of what is to come – the ‘sexual anarchy’ which will be disguised as gender rights, and marriage equality. We fear for our children.

The insane laws are coming fast – here in this country, they have tried to bring in a programme of education  to apply to schools called ‘Safe Schools”. It is meant to be an anti-bullying strategy – but of course it entailed things hidden from the eye. Fortunately Christian groups brought it to the public’s attention, and it has been amended somewhat. The good news is that it is optional, but a list was published and 2 schools that have taken it on are actually “catholic”.

Bishop Schneider has laid out a survival plan for Catholic parents who find themselves in a secular, relativistic, and hostile environment but who simply want to raise their children to become future citizens of heaven.

Bishop Schneider said that to survive in a heretical wasteland, Catholic parents must:

  1. See persecution as a grace from God for becoming purified and strengthened, not simply as something negative.
  2. Become rooted yourself in the Catholic faith through study of the Catechism.
  3. Protect your family’s integrity above all else.
  4. Catechize your children as your first duty.
  5. Pray with your children daily, such as litanies and the Rosary.
  6. Turn your home into a domestic church.
  7. In the absence of a priest and Sunday Mass, make spiritual communion.
  8. Withdraw your family from a parish spreading error and attend a faithful parish, even if you have to travel far.
  9. Withdraw your children from school if they are encountering immoral danger in sex-ed.
  10. If you cannot withdraw your children, establish a coalition of parents to fight for that right.
  11. Fight for parental rights using available democratic tools.
  12. Be prepared for persecution in protecting your children (see first point).

The bishop said that being a Catholic “family” in the truest sense of the word is the key to survival.

Reading for Today from the Book of Truth: “ Mother of Salvation: Beware of the man, who declares himself to be the Son of Man “

+AMDG+

This message was the third one  opened at JtM CPG meeting on Tuesday 19 April, 2016, after a Prayer to the Holy Spirit.

Reading from the Book of Truth:

Mother of Salvation: Beware of the man, who declares himself to be the Son of Man

(19 September 2014)

My dear child, it has been foretold that many False Prophets will arise and that, during this time, they will spread untruths about the word of God. They will arise in their hundreds of thousands and be endorsed by those who claim to represent My Son’s servants. They will preach in small, as well as large, groups and you will know them by the false prophecies, which they will reveal to the world. They will be seen as very holy people, and some will say that they have great healing powers of the flesh as well as the spirit.

Some will wear the garments of holy men and they will promote a new missal, which will deviate from the truth. Many people will be confused by their teachings, as they will mix their false claims with part of the truth. One of their objectives will be to be seen to prepare the world for the second coming of Christ and they will create great anticipation of this event amongst My Son’s followers.

But, it will not be My Son, Jesus Christ, they will be preparing God’s children to welcome. No.  It will be the Antichrist. Grave errors, will be revealed by them in connection with the Book of Revelation as they will twist the contents of this holy book. Few will know that they are being fed lies and the greatest untruth, which they will proclaim, will be this. They will say that Jesus Christ, the Son of Man, will make himself known in the world soon. That he will come in the flesh. That he will walk amongst his people and that he will raise them up on the last day. This could never happen for My Son, who came in the flesh, the first time, through his birth, will never come in the flesh at his second coming. Beware of the man, who declares himself to be the Son of Man, who calls you to him, for he will not be from God. My Son will come in the clouds just as he left the Earth during his ascension into Heaven so, too, will it be on the last day.

Your Beloved Mother

Mother of Salvation

Thoughts /  Reflection

This reading warns us against the antichrist to come and the false prophets who will prepare us for his coming. These latter will actually preach in groups, but they will mix error with truth – and people will be confused. Our Lady also warns us against the new missal, which they will be promoting. Our dearest Mother is warning us what to expect. She tells us the errors they will be spreading, so that we will be caught in the ant-christ’s web.

Forewarned is fore-armed!!

God is my Search Engine and His Answer is Swift!

After my evening prayers, on Thursday 14th April, I opened my Bible on Jeremiah 42: Flight into ‘Egypt’.

I did not understand what this passage might mean for me or us, and I instantly but unaffectedly asked The Lord, in my heart, “Who is Egypt?” There was such a clear, stern warning in this passage, but I couldn’t interpret it. Unexpectedly, an answer came instantly into my mind: “The One World Church”. It was not my thought. It came out of nowhere- quicker than lightning! Hence this interpretation and warning for those who profess to be believers and are asking for God’s help and guidance in these difficult times; are you listening to His answers? If you go into the One World Church (as represented by Egypt) and refuse to listen to God’s Word of prophecy, (when the church begins to fall into ruin) you will die by famine, plague and sword (possibly in the Chastisement?). Do not desert the small remnant. The Lord Himself will increase you in number and feed you- against all odds. All of this is there in this warning; read the passage below with open eyes.

Jeremiah 42

42 Then all the captains of the warriors, and Johanan the son of Caree, and Jezonias the son of Osaias, and the rest of the people from the least to the greatest came near:
2 And they said to Jeremias the prophet: Let our supplication fall before thee: and pray thou for us to the Lord thy God for all this remnant, for we are left but a few of many, as thy eyes do behold us.
3 And let the Lord thy God shew us the way by which we may walk, and the thing that we must do.

4 And Jeremias the prophet said to them: I have heard you: behold I will pray to the Lord your God according to your words: and whatsoever thing he shall answer me, I will declare it to you: and I will hide nothing from you.

5 And they said to Jeremias: The Lord be witness between us of truth and faithfulness, if we do not according to every thing for which the Lord thy God shall send thee to us.
6 Whether it be good or evil, we will obey the voice of the Lord our God, to whom me send thee: that it may be well with us when we shall hearken to the voice of the Lord our God.

7 Now after ten days, the word of the Lord came to Jeremias.
8 And he called Johanan the son of Caree, and all the captains of the fighting men that were with him, and all the people from the least to the greatest.
9 And he said to them: Thus saith the Lord the God of Israel, to whom you sent me, to present your supplications before him:
10 If you will be quiet and remain in this land, I will build you up, and not pull you down: I will plant you, and not pluck you up: for now I am appeased for the evil that I have done to you.
11 Fear not because of the king of Babylon, of whom you are greatly afraid: fear him not, saith the Lord: for I am with you, to save you, and to deliver you from his hand.
12 And I will shew mercies to you, and will take pity on you, and will cause you to dwell in your own land.

13 But if you say: We will not dwell in this land, neither will we hearken to the voice of the Lord our God,
14 Saying: No, but we will go into the land of Egypt: where we shall see no war, nor hear the sound of the trumpet, nor suffer hunger: and there we will dwell.
15 For this now hear the word of the Lord, ye remnant of Juda: Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: If you set your faces to go into Egypt, and enter in to dwell there:
16 The sword which you fear, shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt: and the famine, whereof you are afraid, shall cleave to you in Egypt, and there you shall die.
17 And all the men that set their faces to go into Egypt, to dwell there, shall die by the sword, and by famine, and by pestilence: none of them shall remain, nor escape from the face of the evil that I will bring upon them.
18 For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: As my anger and my indignation hath been kindled against the inhabitants of Jerusalem: so shall my indignation be kindled against you, when you shall enter into Egypt, and you shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach: and you shall see this place no more.
19 This is the word of the Lord concerning you, O ye remnant of Juda: Go ye not into Egypt: know certainly that I have adjured you this day.
20 For you have deceived your own souls: for you sent me to the Lord our God, saying: Pray for us to the Lord our God, and according to all that the Lord our God shall say to thee, so declare unto us, and we will do it.
21 And now I have declared it to you this day, and you have not obeyed the voice of the Lord your God, with regard to all the things for which he hath sent me to you.
22 Now therefore know certainly that you shall die by the sword, and by famine, and by pestilence in the place to which you desire to go to dwell there.

Thank you God for warning us against ‘Egypt’. Grant us the courage instead to follow and listen to Your Plan for us in the times ahead. Amen.

God is my Search Engine; not Google. Part 3

On Saturday April 2nd, a combination of groups voluntarily gathered together in a large regional serious prayer meeting for some hours . As a Catholic, it is not hard to spend a long time in prayer; in communion with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as we have a rich tradition of prayer from which to draw. The mood was sombre, for we spend Holy Week reflecting on Christ’s Passion and Death which assists us to recall and confess our sins with deep and true contrition, better appreciating the gift of Salvation wrought for us on Good Friday on the Cross. We love Jesus, we rejoice in His Victory and His Rising and we feel immense gratitude for this Gift, especially in view of our unworthiness. Our aim, on this first Saturday after Easter, which fell the day before Divine Mercy Sunday, was to pray for the many different groups of souls, that they may receive of His Salvation too, in these difficult times and before it’s too late. With the Apostolic Exhortation Amoris Laetitia less than a week away, our other immediate concern was that all Christians would see and uphold The Truth of God’s Word, despite the errors which would likely be spread through this modernist assault, disguised as ‘mercy’. We felt, and fear, the ominous rumble of God’s Wrath.

That evening, after our prayer meeting, I opened on:

Wisdom 18: 14-25 (Douay Rheims Bible)

[14] For while all things were in quiet silence, and the night was in the midst of her course, [15] Thy Almighty Word leapt down from heaven from thy royal throne, as a fierce conqueror into the midst of the land of destruction.

[16] With a sharp sword carrying thy unfeigned commandment, and he stood and filled all things with death, and standing on the earth reached even to heaven. [17] Then suddenly visions of evil dreams troubled them, and fears unlooked for came upon them. [18] And one thrown here, another there, half dead- shewed the cause of his death. [19] For the visions that troubled them foreshewed these things, lest they should perish and not know why they suffered these evils. [20] But the just also were afterwards touched by an assault of death, and there was a disturbance of the multitude in the wilderness: but thy wrath did not long continue.

[21] For a blameless man made haste to pray for the people, bringing forth the shield of his ministry, prayer, and by incense making supplication, withstood the wrath, and put an end to the calamity, shewing that he was thy servant. [22] And he overcame the disturbance, not by strength of body nor with force of arms, but with a word he subdued him that punished them, alleging the oaths and covenant made with the fathers. [23] For when they were now fallen down dead by heaps one upon another, he stood between and stayed the assault, and cut off the way to the living. [24] For in the priestly robe which he wore, was the whole world: and in the four rows of the stones the glory of the fathers was graven, and thy majesty was written upon the diadem of his head. [25] And to these the destroyer gave place, and was afraid of them: for the proof only of wrath was enough.

I believe this is about the coming Chastisement (made clear in verse 20) which follows on from The Warning (or Illumination of Conscience) ( see verses 14-19) confirming that those who will die at ‘the Warning’, may be saved by proclaiming their faults as they are dying, due to the visions (of their guilt) given to them.

Death and chastisement will touch some of the faithful as well (verse 20). But  Christ will shorten the chastisement through His Mercy for the sake of the elect (verses 21-25).

We had been praying by name for those who need healing in body, mind and/or soul (Crusade Prayer 94)  and also for souls who may die during the Warning (Crusade Prayer 1- My Gift to Jesus to Save Souls) which is connected to this interpretation.

I know some people think scripture has only one meaning which can either be applied at the time or to the future, and will think that the passage was only about the Egyptians.  However, some passages as Jesus clearly shows us in the Gospels, applies to both! He Himself fulfilled prophecies in a new way that some had thought already fulfilled like a closed book.  And he Himself, and later His apostles opened the scriptures before our very eyes, that we would see the Eternal Word in the amazing way God created it- as a Living Word and yet the same, yesterday, today and tomorrow.Later this understanding of scripture was confirmed to me through another website quoting the Catechism.

*For more information on Divine Mercy Sunday please visit DivineMercy.org. Those who have not heard of The Warning (otherwise known as The Illumination of Conscience or The Great Day of Mercy)  I will post some information for you soon, but in the meantime you might wish to try Google, or better still…God! While this may sound light-hearted, the truth is that discernment and Wisdom are very important, especially in regard to The Warning, so please humble yourself in sincere prayer to accept all God is offering and the direction in which He will lead you. I will be praying for you and with you, dear brothers and sisters +. Amen

God is My Search Engine, not Google: Part 2

Friday 31st March (evening) I opened on Zechariah 14 (16-21).

It is all about the eschatological battle!!
It explains how all will be made holy and The Lord’s sovereignty will be acknowledged and seen by all.

[16] And all who survive of all nations that have marched against Jerusalem, shall go up year by year, to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of Tabernacles. [17] And it shall come to pass, that should one of the races of the world not go up to Jerusalem, to adore the King, the Lord of hosts, there shall be no rain for that one. [18] And if the family of Egypt should fail to go up and pay its visit, on it will fall the plague which the Lord will inflict on each one of those nations that fail to go up to keep the Feast of the Tabernacles.. [19] Such shall be the punishment for Egypt and for all those nations that fail to go up to keep the feast of Tabernacles. [20] When that day comes, the horse bells will be inscribed with the words “Sacred to the Lord” and in the Temple of the Lord the very cooking pots will be as fine as the sprinkling bowls at the altar. [21] And every cooking pot in Jerusalem and Judah shall become sacred to the Lord Saboath; all who want to offer sacrifice will come and help themselves from them for their cooking; there will be no more Traders in the Temple of the Lord Saboath, when that day comes.
*The last verses describe in the eschatological renewal, everything will be made holy.
(Bible verse taken from the CTS New Catholic Bible, 2007. The Incorporated Catholic Truth Society).

Explanations below are from The Douay-Rheims Bible:

[16] They that shall be left: That is, many of them that persecuted the church shall be converted to its faith and communion.– Ibid.
[16] To keep the feast of tabernacles: This feast was kept by the Jews in memory of their sojourning forty years in the desert, in their way to the land of promise. And in the spiritual sense is duly kept by all such Christians as in their earthly pilgrimage are continually advancing toward their true home, the heavenly Jerusalem; by the help of the sacraments and sacrifice of the church. And they that neglect this must not look for the kind showers of divine grace, to give fruitfulness to their souls.
[20] The bells or that which is upon the bridle: The golden ornaments of the bridles, etc., shall be turned into offerings in the house of God. And there shall be an abundance of caldrons and phials for the sacrifices of the temple; by which is meant, under a figure, the great resort there shall be to the temple, that is, to the church of Christ, and her sacrifice.
[21] The merchant shall be no more: Or, as some render it, The Chanaanite shall be no more, that is, the profane and unbelievers shall have no title, to be in the house of the Lord. Or there shall be no occasion for buyers or sellers of oxen, or sheep, or doves, in the house of God, such as Jesus Christ cast out of the temple.

All of the above fits with the our understanding of the future when all will be one.

God is My Search Engine, not Google.

I had no idea how many bible verses deal with the Second Coming and the times we are in. I could never find them all if I tried! So God keeps giving them to me instead. I also would not even have ‘the eyes to see’ in each passage what He was saying, unless He enabled me; in my mind, heart and spirit. It was not always so.
But what I do have, I must share!
In my heart I pray for Wisdom and I ask God what he wants to show me and share with me today or tonight, before opening my Bible. It is true that nothing is inconsequential in the Word of God and that therefore everything I open upon is important, HOWEVER it is not my doing that each passage, from so many different parts of the Bible are on the same theme, each night in a row. And that God confirms what He is saying through others! So, if you are also willing to listen to what He has to share with you today, join me on the journey of the past few days! Each part will be separately posted, so as to allow you time, as God did for me, to pray earnestly and reflect on what God is saying to you…

Reading 1: Thursday 31st March
God gave me this passage to read about “being fed” and led- (Spiritually and physically) by Him… and therefore not worrying in the time ahead!

(Douay Rheims) 1 Kings 17: 2- 24

[2] And the word of the Lord came to him, saying: [3] Get thee hence, and go towards the east and hide thyself by the torrent of Carith, which is over against the Jordan, [4] And there thou shalt drink of the torrent: and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there. [5] So he went, and did according to the word of the Lord: and going, he dwelt by the torrent Carith, which is over against the Jordan.
[6] And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening, and he drank of tile torrent. [7] But after some time the torrent was dried up, for it had not rained upon the earth. [8] Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying: [9] Arise, and go to Sarephta of the Sidonians, and dwell there: for I have commanded a widow woman there to feed thee. [10] He arose, and went to Sarephta. And when he was come to the gate of the city, he saw the widow woman gathering sticks, and he called her, and said to her: Give me a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. .
[11] And when she was going to fetch it he called after her, saying: Bring me also, I beseech thee, a morsel of bread in thy hand. [12] And she answered: As the Lord thy God liveth, I have no bread, but only a handful of meal in a pot, and a little oil in a cruse: behold I am gathering two sticks that I may go in and dress it, for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die. [13] And Elias said to her: Fear not, but go, and do as thou hast said: but first make for me of the same meal a little hearth cake, and bring it to me: and after make for thyself and thy son. [14] For thus saith the Lord the God of Israel: The pot of meal shall not waste, nor the cruse of oil be diminished, until the day wherein the Lord will give rain upon the face of the earth. [15] She went and did according to the word of Elias: and he ate, and she, and her house: and from that day
[16] The pot of meal wasted not, and the cruse of oil was not diminished, according to the word of the Lord, which he spoke in the hand of Elias. [17] And it came to pass after this that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick, and the sickness was very grievous, so that there was no breath left in him. [18] And she said to Elias: What have I to do with thee, thou man of God? art thou come to me that my iniquities should be remembered, and that thou shouldst kill my son? [19] And Elias said to her: Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him into the upper chamber where he abode, and laid him upon his own bed. [20] And he cried to the Lord, and said: O Lord my God, hast thou afflicted also the widow, with whom I am after a so maintained, so as to kill her son?
[21] And he stretched, and measured himself upon the child three times, and cried to the Lord, and said: O Lord my God, let the soul of this child, I beseech thee, return into his body. [22] And the Lord heard the voice of Elias: and the soul of the child returned into him, and he revived. [23] And Elias took the child, and brought him down from the upper chamber to the house below, and delivered him to his mother, and said to her: Behold thy son liveth. [24] And the woman said to Elias: Now, by this I know that thou art a man of God, and the word of the Lord in thy mouth is true.

Meditation on the Cross

This is a beautiful meditation on the Cross from “America Needs Fatima”

The story is of a Spanish knight, leaving his castle, his wife and child behind in order to lead his men to fight the Moors. He is captured and enslaved.

He does not know if his family knows of his whereabouts, in order to raise ransom money to free him. A life-sized Crucifix hangs above the town, for the pure purpose of being blasphemed and spat upon. He vows that if he is freed, he will return for the Cross. After 10 years, when it seems that he can be freed, he has a huge decision to make  – to choose between the Cross and his family!

“The weight of the Cross” is a beautiful meditation on the Cross.

Prayer before a Crucifix

BEHOLD, O kind and most sweet Jesus,

I cast myself upon my knees in Thy sight,

and with the most fervent desire of my soul,

pray and beseech  Thee that Thou wouldst impress upon my heart,

the lively sentiments of Faith, Hope and Charity,

with true repentance for my sins and a firm desire of amendment:

whilst with deep affection and grief of soul I ponder within myself

and mentally contemplate Thy five most precious Wounds,

having before mine eyes the words which of old,

the prophet David spoke in prophecy of Thee, O good Jesus:

They have pierced My hands and My feet, they have numbered all My bones [Psalm 21, 17, 18].

Say Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be for the Catholic Church and the intentions of the Holy Father.

A plenary indulgence, under the usual conditions, may be gained by those who shall say this prayer with devotion before an image of our crucified Redeemer.

A partial indulgence may also be gained for each devout recitation.

God provides!

Last week, my husband and I embarked on a long car trip to attend a wedding in a small town, approx 8.5hrs North of where we live.  We planned to travel between 10am and 6.30pm with minimal stopping. Before we left I had already been on the road for approx 2 hours+ due to morning drop offs , so I was pleased that he would drive and I could rest most of the way.

Halfway through the journey we accidentally took a wrong turn which put us on a different, much longer route. It added at least 2hrs 15 mins more and a long, gruelling, dark, foggy, twisting road towards the end.

We did not discover the error until we had travelled an hour on the inland route and annoyed, but optimistic enough at that stage, we decided to continue.

As we passed through a beautiful sunny Country town, I noticed an impressive original 19th century sandstone convent with beautiful stained glass windows called St Joseph’s of Lochinvar. This convent had belonged to the Sisters of St Joseph, to which order our dearly beloved St. Mary of the Cross (Mackillop) had belonged. It had been a very large convent with many nuns. Perhaps our daer saint, had even stayed there. It had an auction notice  explaining that the “contents” would be auctioned on the Saturday to come – (i.e. in 2 days’ time).

Immediately I started thinking…”What a rare, unique opportunity to find some religious items that Jesus said we need, such as sacred vessels and maybe even a tabernacle!” But the wedding was on Saturday! How could this be done? I asked my husband whether, if my mum were to buy a few things from the convent auction, we could possibly pick them up for her on our return trip, the following Tuesday, if the auctioneers agreed to hold them? Forgetting where we were, he agreed.

I pondered the likeliness of all this working, which also relied on online bidding being available but all I could hear was L.(prayer group member) saying over and over to me, “Donna, we need a tabernacle! Where are we going to get one?” after many prayer group gatherings. And I always thought, “Why on earth does she keep asking ME?!  That’s not something I can do!”

Nevertheless her nagging stayed in the back of my mind, and I couldn’t let this opportunity pass without trying!

So I sent a short text and  email to my mother. My mother’s story follows:

I received Donna’s text. I was pretty busy, so I didn’t have much time to think about it, but I did pass it on to others in the prayer group. The next night, a thought came into my head, that Donna didn’t pass by this auction on purpose. She was meant to see the sign. Then I remembered that just a few weeks before, our prayer group readings were all about the desecration of churches and I remembered the discussion that followed amongst us.

This was my comment at that time “So to sum up – get ready for the changes and the deceit. Go to Adoration while you still can! Gather up many Crosses, Crucifixes and Bibles. And it sounds as if we should be on guard for when they throw out the gold tabernacles – rescue them if we can.” (See Post JtM Crusade Prayer Meeting 25th February, 2016). I can’t believe that I had that thought 2 weeks previously!

Wow!!! We are meant to follow this auction up and try to get some tabernacles. A few of our group drove up to the auction the next day. I decided to put in an online bid – then I watched and participated in the auction live on the screen.

I managed to get a tabernacle and so did another person in our group. I was worried that people would be after the tabernacles for their scrap metal value – but the group from our prayer group who went up there, said that it seemed like the people bidding for the tabernacles were all Crusaders.

When Jesus tells us to prepare – we must do so. After all, He is present at each prayer group, guiding us. He goes to a great extent to show us the way, if we just stop and listen.

Thank you, Lord. I am glad we listened and didn’t ignore your gentle signs. Amen.

The God of ‘Surprises’

I cringe whenever I hear this phrase, uttered very often by you know who.
Does he think people are so dumb? (Apparently so!!)

When he talks about being open to the Holy Spirit, he’s implying that everything a priest or bishop or himself does or says, is as a result of the Holy Spirit working in a new direction. We know this is utter nonsense. It is just a way of justifying sin in a new way – making out that all our doctrines and teachings have been wrong for 2000 years – that we got it all wrong – in fact Jesus must have got it all wrong and what the evangelists wrote isn’t what they really meant!

The phrase “the God of surprises” or “the Holy Spirit surprises usis a cover up for the evil intent of the changes which he himself (NOT the Holy Spirit)  is planning to introduce.

This man, Bergoglio, has made many inferences about change, and all his desires for change: for Lutherans and other Protestants, the divorced and remarried, homosexuals, women priests,  etc. Well, guess what? He is well on his way.

Firstly, last year (2015) he issued the new annulment reforms, which the committee was still in the process of formulating. But he went right over them and just announced it according to what he wanted. The Synod was meant to have a say in this, but he hasn’t even announced this yet.

Today, (21st January, 2016) I read how he has given a directive to Robert Cardinal Sarah about changes to the Maundy Thursday foot washing ceremony. As if this is a surprise! Each year since 2013 he has done his own thing. The ceremony by the Pope is meant to symbolize Christ washing the feet of his apostles, – teaching them how to serve their flocks. It is meant to be for “faithful” (read practising) “People of God”. We might all be God’s children – he created us, but we are not all “People of God”. We need Baptism for that.

He denigrated it to a ceremony where anyone is invited – Moslems, women, etc. He took it to new heights by having it in a prison, not in a beautiful, sacred place where the highest honour can be given to our Lord and King. What an insult! Now, any and every priest, (except those who will DARE to disobey) can (or will have to) do the same, because it is now law. I can see what is coming this year – women (who can never be priests), practising homosexuals (who are not repentant and don’t intend to be). The recent Vatican Pope Video should give us a clue.

Poor Cardinal Sarah – he was given the document to announce! I feel he is a good bishop, but he is trapped in his position as prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments. He needs a lot of prayer. He needs to get out of there. Better to be sacked like Cardinal Burke.

Bergoglio, will start with these (small) things and then proceed very quickly to changing the Mass and the Sacraments. In fact, why do we even need Sacraments?! He will do it by stealth, and you will be surely told of all the wonderful reasons that these changes are necessary – and it will sound good – in human terms, of course.
Don’t you know? It is the Holy Spirit working, who is working in the world today to change sin into something seen as good. In fact, there is a spirit working – but it is not the Holy Spirit!

The good thing is that these changes exclude the Extraordinary Form (Traditional Latin Rite). Our dear, good popes John Paul II and Benedict, knew what they were doing when instigating the Motu Proprio, etc.

Get ready for a wild ride this year. There will be no limits and almost everyone will welcome all the changes with open arms, and those who don’t will be too afraid to say a word.

The English translation of the Vatican declaration can be seen in full at the Rorate Caeli link listed above.

Excerpts from Vatican Information Service:

“After careful consideration”, he continues, “I have decided to make a change to the Roman Missal. I therefore decree that the section according to which those persons chosen for the Washing of the feet must be men or boys, so that from now on the Pastors of the Church may choose the participants in the rite from among all the members of the People of God. I also recommend that an adequate explanation of the rite itself be provided to those who are chosen”.

To manifest the full meaning of the rite to those who participate in it, the Holy Father Francis has seen fit to change the rule by in the Roman Missal (p.300, No. 11) according to which the chosen men are accompanied by the ministers, which must therefore be modified as follows: ‘Those chosen from among the People of God are accompanied by the ministers’ (and consequently in the Caeremoniale Episcoporum No. 301 and No. 299 b referring to the seats for the chosen men, so that pastors may choose a group of faithful representing the variety and unity of every part of the People of God. This group may consist of men and women, and ideally of the young and the old, healthy and sick, clerics, consecrated persons and laypeople.
This Congregation for Divine Worship and the Disipline of the Sacraments, by means of the faculties granted by the Supreme Pontiff, introduces this innovation in the liturgical books of the Roman Rite, recalling pastors of their duty to instruct adequately both the chosen faithful and others, so that they may participate in the rite consciously, actively and fruitfully”.

Benedict XVI…

…judges Francis’ idea that spiritual direction is a charism of the laity

Priests have the munus docendi, the task of teaching – they must answer the fundamental questions about what we must do in order to do good

An essential part of the priest’s grace is the task of putting others in touch with God
Christ tends his flock through the Pastors of the Church

Every priest is called to help the penitent to walk on the demanding path of holiness

Listening to the confessor’s advice is important for the spiritual journey of the penitent

In the saintly priest, the Christian People recognize the voice of the Good Shepherd

…judges Francis’ idea on adulterine unions

The trials of Christians are indeed numerous, but they must be faithful to God in their marriage

Materialistic ideologies tell us it is absurd to observe God’s commandments

The only joy that fills the human heart comes from God: the cross of Christ

The Church has received from its Founder the mission of showing people the way to true happiness: fidelity to the words of Christ

…judges Francis’ idea on family

An institution of natural law based on the marriage between a man and woman

Marriage has value as a natural institution and as a Sacrament Raised to the dignity of a Sacrament, marriage confers greater splendor and depth to the conjugal bond

The Lord is the centre and heart of the family

The family is a necessary good, fruit of the love and total self-giving within marriage

Today the essential characteristics of Sacramental marriage are misunderstood

Today the crisis of the family impresses upon children an erroneous typology of the family

The natural structure of marriage is the union of a man and a woman – this principle comes from human nature itself and not only from faith
