Second stage of Schism – Prophecy Fulfilled

+AM+DG+

Are we at the second stage of the schism?

“The schism in My Church will be broken into different stages.B of T

The first stage will be when only those who truly know Me, and understand the Truth of the Holy Gospels, will decide that they cannot accept lies in My Name….”

The second stage will come about when people are denied the Holy Sacraments, as they are meant to be.”

(Prophecy from the Book of Truth 20th October, 2013)

See article on First Stage of schism fulfilled at : https://remnantdisciples.wordpress.com/2016/11/29/the-dubia-schism-and-prophecy/

The Holy Sacraments of Eucharist, Holy Orders, Extreme Unction (Last Rites) are DEFINITELY NOT being administered in the way “they are meant to be.” (see prophecy above).

In the latter case,, while still excluding men with deep-seated tendencies, the rules have been  relaxed so that men with “transitory homosexual tendencies”. See fullarticle at the above link.

Would these examples below also count?

  • Pf emphasizes that “unjust discrimination” against gays and lesbians is unacceptable, and he downplays the idea of “living in sin” and suggests that priests should use their own discretion on whether divorced Catholics in new marriages can take Communion. See CNN news at: http://edition.cnn.com/2016/04/08/europe/vatican-pope-family

In fact, because of his many (unofficial) utterances, many take it that those living in adulterous relationships can approach the Most Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist, if they want to.

AND WHAT ABOUT CONFESSION?

  • “And here I recommend that you understand not only the language of the word, but also that of gestures. If someone comes to you and feels something must be removed from him, but perhaps he is unable to say it, but you understand … it’s all right, he says it this way, with the gesture of coming. First condition. Second, he is repentant. If someone comes to you it is because he doesn’t want to fall into these situations, but he doesn’t dare say it, he is afraid to say it and then not be able to do it. But if he cannot do it, ad impossibila nemo tenetur [no one is obliged to do the impossible]. And the Lord understands these things, the language of gestures. Have open arms, to understand what is inside that heart that cannot be said or said this way … somewhat because of shame … you understand me….. Often shame makes one mute and … The gesture, the language of the gesture. (Meeting with priests and deacons of Rome, February 11, 2016)  See  full article at: https://en.denzingerbergoglio.com/if-someone-comes-to-you-and-feels-something-must-be-removed-from-him-but-perhaps-he-is-unable-to-say-it-but-you-understand-its-all-right-he-says-it-this-way-with-the-ge/#Francis

Can we receive absolution without confessing? That is not a true administration of the Sacrament.

The Holy Sacraments will never be the same again, and this is only the beginning.

Are we at the second  stage of the schism?

The Dubia, Schism and Prophecy

+AM+DG+

“The schism in My Church will be broken into different stages.

The first stage will be when only those who truly know Me, and understand the Truth of the Holy Gospels, will decide that they cannot accept lies in My Name….” (Prophecy from the Book of Truth 20th October, 2013)

Are we at the beginning of the first stage of the schism?

“Those who truly know Me and understand the truth of the holy Gospels” – i.e. the 4 Cardinals (Cardinals Raymond, Walter Brandmüller, Carlo Caffarra, and Joachim Maisner).

“…will decide that they cannot accept lies in My Name….”

they requested from Bergoglio a clarification about doubts which have arisen as a result of Amoris Laetitia. On 19th September they sent a letter to the pope, which was a set of 5 Yes/No questions on matters in AL which are at odds with Catholic moral teaching. When he had not responded within 2 months, they made the letter public.

The “Dubia” questions:

1) whether adulterers can receive Holy Communion;

2) whether there are absolute moral norms that must be followed “without exceptions;”

3) if habitual adultery is an “objective situation of grave habitual sin;”

4) whether an intrinsically evil act can be turned into a “‘subjectively’ good” act based on “circumstances or intentions;” and

5) if, based on “conscience,” one can act contrary to known “absolute moral norms that prohibit intrinsically evil acts.”

Two opposing sides:

In a secular newspaper (see below) it was statedJudging by a cautionary letter to Francis during last year’s Synod on the Family, at least a dozen other cardinals, including Australia’s George Pell, share some of their (the 4 cardinals) concerns”.

After the letter was made public, Bishop Athanasius Schneider also spoke up in support of the 4 Cardinals. He said “they did their basic duty. Bishop Schneider  had “great astonishment for what he called the “unusually violent and intolerant” nature of the backlash, adding that such reaction runs contrary to the Pope’s call for “dialogue and acceptance of legitimate plurality of opinions.”

“Such apodictic merciless judgments reveal not only intolerance, refusal of dialogue, and irrational rage but demonstrate also a surrender to the impossibility of speaking the truth, a surrender to relativism in doctrine and practice, in faith and life,” he said. See https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/breaking-another-bishop-defends-the-four-cardinals-they-did-their-basic-dut

The Opposition:

Cardinals Blasé Cupich and Thomas Tobin and others such as Jesuit Antonio Spadaro referred to the 4 cardinals as “witless worms”.

Greek bishop Frangiskos Papamanolis accused the cardinals of the sins of “apostasy” and “scandal” and that they received Holy Communion sacrilegiously for raising concerns about the pope’s document. See the article at: https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/cardinal-elect-tobin-blasts-amoris-critics-not-a-yes-or-no-matter

The secular press joins in:

“As The Australian has reported, AL is at the centre of the most serious challenge facing Francis. That has come from two German cardinals, an Italian and an American. Judging by a cautionary letter to Francis during last year’s Synod on the Family, at least a dozen other cardinals, including Australia’s George Pell, share some of their concerns.

This week, the four cardinals released the “please explain’’ letter they sent the pope privately eight weeks ago. He declined to answer. Such public, formal questioning of a pope’s teaching has been unknown for centuries. The AL row has also baffled and upset Catholics in the pews, who hold immense respect from the papal office. Some would welcome a relaxation of rules, others believe such change is not Catholic and not possible.

Two days ago, one of the four, US Cardinal Raymond Burke, 68, who was the Vatican’s top church lawyer until Francis sacked him two years ago, upped the ante. Like the other three cardinals, he has nothing to lose.

In an interview, the quietly-spoken prelate said that unless Francis corrected his own document the cardinals would do it for him, by issuing “a formal act of correction of a serious error’’. There was, Burke said, a rare tradition in the Church, “the practice of correction of the Roman Pontiff’’.

From The Weekend Australian, 18th November, 2016 http://www.theaustralian.com.au/opinion/pope-francis-driving-unprecedented-wedge-in-vatican/news-story/d95a4146fc8a57c05bc090f374a538d

Another Prophecy:

“Within six months of the heresy being introduced into My Church, many who ignored My Call, will flee and seek out those who remained true to My Holy Word. Then My Army will swell, grow and gather the remnants from all Christian churches and fight the spirit of evil.” (Prophecy from the Book of Truth 20th October, 2013)

TtCrusader (a regular contributor – sometimes gives me ideas) emailed me: (re prophecy above):

“It’s 6 months from Amoris Laetitia till the Dubia”!!!

If that’s the case: Crusaders, get ready for the influx – our army is about to grow!

The Four Horns, the Four Smiths and the Four Cardinals

+AM+DG+

By Donna Liane (19/11/2016 4:40:00 PM)

Today I felt drawn to, and went to the Bible to read. I opened on a short passage about a symbolic vision and it’s meaning as explained by God’s angel.

Zachariah 1: 18-21 (see note and alternate reference below)*

It was called “The Horns and the Smiths”:

What struck me as I read:

There were 4 horns which scattered Jerusalem.

There were also 4 smiths to strike the horns down and lay them low.

Immediately I knew that the four horns referred to the 4 cardinals and the current situation regarding the ‘Dubai’  published recently which was directed to Pope Francis.

The four horns (or announcements) in this current situation are the proclamations made by Pope Francis, which surreptitiously seek to destroy and scatter the faithful. The last entitled, “Amoris Laetitia”  has caused the  4 Cardinals to speak up at last; to cast the horn down & lay it low.

In keeping with this current interpretation of the vision, the other three horns would be his other published proclamations:

Lumen Fidei, Evangelii Gaudium, Laudato si and Amoris Laetitia, as mentioned.

If you are not from the Catholic community, the ‘dubai’ or ‘doubts’ formally raised by the Cardinals which seek clarification as to whether FP is trying to change or deny church teaching (which he cannot do) on some significant matters of faith and morals, (eg.the nature of sin and forgiveness and the worthy reception of Holy Communion) is a BIG DEAL! They are seeking to force the ‘pope’ (really an enemy of Christ) to reveal his true intentions or beliefs. They cannot prove him a deliberate persistent heretic unless he reveals the meaning of his teachings and his refusal to retract the errors. They are issuing a formal and now public correction of his heresies.

The next step may be, more or less, to declare him or his teachings anathema and to declare him an anti-pope. They may elect a new pope but this will depend on  Pope Benedict (emeritus), who is still a valid and true Pope.  In fact,  this is a big and serious task for the few, courageous Cardinals and is not being taken lightly. For now, their job, as described in the vision, is clear. Read on…

Zachariah 1: 18-21 (Douay Rheims)

[18] And I lifted up my eyes, and saw: and behold four horns.

[19] And I said to the angel that spoke to me: What are these? And he said to me: These are the horns that have scattered Juda, and Israel, and Jerusalem.

[20] And the Lord shewed me four smiths.

[18] Four horns: The four horns represent the empires, or kingdoms, that persecute and oppress the kingdom of God.

[20] Four smiths: The four smiths, or carpenters (for faber may signify either) represent those whom God makes his instruments in bringing to nothing the power of persecutors.

[21] And I said: What come these to do? and he spoke, saying: These are the horns which have scattered Juda every man apart, and none of them lifted up his head: and these are come to fray them, to cast down the horns of the nations, that have lifted up the horn upon the land of Juda to scatter it.

AMEN

*The Douay Rheims, NIV (New International Version  and RSV (Revised Standard Version – Catholic Ed.)   –   The  reference is Zachariah 1:18-2

Both the Jerusalem Bible and the CTS New Catholic Bible have a heading entitled ‘Second Vision’. It looks like Chapter 2, but the numbers of the verses have a double numbering system so that it can read Zachariah 1: 18-21 or  2: 1-4.

In the new American Bible, the Reference is Zachariah 2: 1-4

Time to act!!!

+AM+DG+

BREAKING: Cardinal Burke says if Pope won’t clarify ‘serious error’, Cardinals must make ‘formal act of correction’

Galatians (1:8)
If even an angel should preach unto you any Gospel
other than that which we preached unto you,
let him be anathema.

Matthew 24:35 (NRS)
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

ROME, November 15, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) – After joining a group of four cardinals in releasing a call for Pope Francis to clarify grave errors in his apostolic exhortation Amoris Laetitia, Cardinal Raymond Burke has now indicated the cardinals are contemplating a “formal correction” should the pope fail to address their concerns.

The cardinals had written to the pope with their concerns on September 19, but after failing to receive a response for nearly two months, they released the letter publicly on Monday morning.

Now, in an interview with the National Catholic Register’s Ed Pentin, Burke discusses the next steps should the pope fail to address the cardinals’ concerns. Here is Pentin’s question and the cardinal’s response…( See the complete article at: https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/cardinal-burke-if-pope-wont-clarify-his-serious-error-cardinals-must-make-a  )

***

Burke goes on to insist that in a case of conflict between the pope and Church Tradition, the Tradition is binding.

“Ecclesial authority exists only in service of the Tradition,” Burke explains.

I think of that passage of St. Paul in the [Letter to the] Galatians (1:8), that if ‘even an angel should preach unto you any Gospel other than that which we preached unto you, let him be anathema.

Cardinal Burke explains,
“It is the duty…, and historically it has happened,
of cardinals and bishops to make clear
that the Pope is teaching error and
to ask him to correct it.”

The September 19 letter, signed by Cardinals Walter Brandmüller, Raymond Burke, Carlo Caffarra, and Joachim Meisner, asked the pope 5 short questions which call for ‘yes or no’ answers that would immediately clarify the meaning of the confusion-plagued document on precisely those points where theologians, priests and even bishops have offered contradicting interpretations.

In the interview, Burke emphasizes that the cardinals have sought to act for “the good of the Church,” which, he says, “is suffering from a tremendous confusion” on the points they have raised especially. He notes, for example, that priests in different dioceses are being given contradictory directions on how to handle the question of access to Communion for those in adulterous unions.

“We, as cardinals, judged it our responsibility to request a clarification with regard to these questions, in order to put an end to this spread of confusion that is actually leading people into error, he says.

For us to remain silent about these fundamental doubts, which have arisen as a result of the text of Amoris Laetitia, would, on our part, be a grave lack of charity toward the Pope and a grave lack in fulfilling the duties of our own office in the Church,” he adds.

Total Depravity heresy of Luther

+AM+DG+

By Dave Webster

28 October 2016 at 17:14

As a former fundamentalist Baptist pastor I can assure you that the Reformed Protestant doctrine of the Total Depravity of humanity is the most fundamentally disruptive and destructive heresy of the Luther/Calvin Reformed movement. Without it the greatest and most tragic schism in the Church would never have taken place — the Protestant rebellion simply COULD NOT have taken place. Total Depravity is the entire basis for the false notion that faith alone, a true gift of God, is alone the cause of one’s Salvation.

Total Depravity means there is nothing man can do that God could accept as helpful to his salvation. Total Depravity means not only man by very nature, from Adam’s Fall, is barred from Heaven but man has no ability of himself whatsoever to do anything about his condition. He cannot OF HIMSELF even freely chose to respond to the faith God puts in various measure into every human heart. The claim then is that its faith ALONE THAT ACTUALLY DOES THE SAVING. Then in addition, if it is ALONE the divine impartation of faith into the heart of those God chooses to save that saves, then salvation has nothing to do with one’s free will to accept or reject faith’s voice and call.

That indeed was the view of Luther and Calvin and that has been the view of most evangelical fundamentalist Protestants to this day. This is why these also believe that even the most egregious sin committed by the “saved” cannot UN-save him. That’s the “once saved always saved” heresy. Once saved always saved and salvation by faith alone has not only led many into a very dangerous false assurance but nothing has created more animosity among so many non-Christians who have been led to believe this is true Christianity. With the lost having no real part in Salvation, with God merely choosing who He wants to save, leaving all the rest to perish in Hell, who could blame anyone for this negative reaction?
This is not however the end of the damage this heresy had caused. Reformed theologians and teachers, seeing the injustice of this thinking have over the years decided to alter their views. Oh, not to deny the heresy Total Depravity or that it is alone God’s gift of faith that saves, (to do that would admit you’re Catholic!) but to simply deny the teaching of Jesus, the Bible and the Church that “many” shall end up in an eternal Hell. They have decided to accept the view that in the end all will end up chosen of God to Salvation! That doctrine is usually called “Universalism.”

Now they would never want to deny Total Depravity and Luther’s “Bondage of the Human Will” because that gives them the excuse to live in their sins and pass the buck to God for them. This was the reason Luther created his “Bondage of the Will” and it’s the reason Francis has bought into the doctrine. Francis however does not have a completely Universal Salvation, he clearly wants to leave room for the damnation of the “ridged” and the resisters of his new toleration of human sin. That’s a reference to the same group of Catholics who are voting for Donald Trump, the Deplorables, the Irredeemables.

Error and Truth: FP and the Lutherans

+AM+DG+

On 31st Oct, 2016, the FP/(pf) signed a declaration with the Lutherans. Some excerpts:

“we are profoundly thankful for the spiritual and theological gifts received through the Reformation”.

“Many members of our communities yearn to receive the Eucharist at one table, as the concrete expression of full unity.” And “we seek to remove the remaining obstacles that hinder us from attaining full unity”

“With this Joint Statement, we express joyful gratitude to God for this moment of common prayer in the Cathedral of Lund, as we begin the year commemorating the five hundredth anniversary of the Reformation. “

“Fifty years of sustained and fruitful ecumenical dialogue between Catholics and Lutherans have helped us to overcome many differences, and have deepened our mutual understanding and trust”

“Theological differences were accompanied by prejudice and conflicts, and religion was instrumentalized for political ends”

“Lutherans and Catholics have wounded the visible unity of the Church.”

This and other of fp’s speeches can be found on Vatican Radio and also at : http://biblefalseprophet.com

David Webster is a Catholic convert and former Baptist pastor.

His website is : saveourchurch.org

He commented on some of FP’s statements and Lutheran doctrine/teachings:

(on 3 Nov. 2016)

The call for Christian unity is not only needed but it is an urgent matter as has been presented but the view that somehow “we closed in on ourselves out of fear or bias with regard to the faith which others profess with a different accent and language” is utter nonsense.

The Reformation” of Luther was no mere difference in accent or language! Luther’s profession was a contradiction to the faith!

And are we to even believe that the Reformation helped give greater centrality to sacred Scripture in the Church’s life? What contribution could Luther and the “reformers” have given us in making the Sacred Scriptures central in the Church who denigrated, denied and then stripped the Scriptures of seven of its books?

Had Luther had his way The Revelation to St. John and the Letter of St. James would have also been discarded! The alleged supreme respect for Scripture by the Reformers is merely a cleverly devised myth and its proven even by its wilful ignoring of Catholic teaching within the remnant of Scripture they have left.

What could not be ignored had to be mistranslated. This includes the mis-translation of Acts 10:22 because it denied the Reformed doctrine of total depravity. (See separate post on total Depravity)

Francis signed Statement: “we are profoundly thankful for the spiritual and theological gifts received through the Reformation”  on 2 Nov. 2026

If Francis is “profoundly thankful for the spiritual and theological gifts why does he not list even just one of them? No, he cannot because there are none!

If he dared to rise the straw man issue of Luther exposing the so called “selling of indulgences” he not only would be shot down but it would be turned on him for the hypocrisy that this charge actually was. The abuse of giving for divine favor first of all is always on the part of the giver who has an unholy spirit and motive. Second, it was Luther who gained the support of the German princes for his rebellion and heretical Church over which he made himself pope by promising them the riches he robbed from the Catholic Church in Germany! I do not think Francis is ready to call outright theft and bribery a spiritual gift –quite yet.

And what are these “many differences” that “have been overcome,” in the 50 years of ecumenical dialog?

Finally Mr. Fraudcis, we do NOT ”cast off any “remaining disagreements,” we resolve them with an understanding of and surrender to the Truth! We do not believe Truth changes. We do not worship the “Christ” who changes, the false Christ, the false Light, the god of your favorite Theologian Cardinal Kasper. His theology is not serene as you have publicly claimed but is utterly diabolical, patently and literally Luciferian. Birds of a feather flock together.

Lutheran Intercommunion is Impossible!

6 Reasons Why Lutheran Intercommunion Isn’t Possible

From: http://www.onepeterfive.com/6-reasons-why-lutheran-intercommunion-isnt-possible/

Father Brian Harrison, O.S. November 1, 2016

The joint proposal to work towards shared Eucharistic communion, signed yesterday in Lund, Sweden, by Pope Francis and the President of the Lutheran World Federation (whose member churches, by the way, generally support abortion and same-sex “marriage”), is extremely troubling. For the following facts must be remembered:

1) Lutherans do not believe in the Sacrifice of the Mass (which Luther himself constantly and virulently execrated as a diabolical abomination). This disbelief is condemned infallibly with anathema by  the Council of Trent (DS 1751-1759 = Dz 948-956) – a judgment solemnly confirmed by Pope Paul VI in his 1968 Credo of the People of God (“Solemn Profession of Faith”).

2) Nor do Lutherans believe in the transubstantiation of the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ. This denial is also solemnly anathematized by Trent (DS 1652 = Dz 884). Again, Paul VI solemnly confirms this point of our Faith in his 1965 Encyclical Mysterium Fidei and in the 1968 ‘Credo’.

3) They believe the Body and Blood of Christ become present in what remains bread and wine, but that this type of presence in any case ceases as soon as the distribution of Communion is over. Condemned with anathema by Trent (DS 1654 = Dz 886), and also again by Paul VI in MF and  the 1968 ‘Credo’.

4) Following logically from the above, Lutherans reject the reservation of the remaining Hosts in the tabernacle after Mass. Condemned with anathema by Trent (DS 1657 = Dz 889), and also again by Paul VI in MF and  the 1968 ‘Credo’.

5) With equal consistency, Lutherans reject Eucharistic adoration outside of Mass and Eucharistic processions. Condemned with anathema by Trent (DS 1656 = Dz 888), and also again by Paul VI in the aforesaid documents.

With at least five anathemas against Lutheran heresies regarding the Eucharist, there is no condemnation by the Council of Trent of the idea ofintercommunion with these separated brethren. But that’s simply because the idea would have been considered so utterly outlandish and totally unthinkable at that time that in fact, well, . . . nobody on either side did even think of it, as far as we know – much less propose it.

Nevertheless, intercommunion with Lutherans (and other Protestants) is indeed strictly prohibited by the present Code of Canon Law. In a ruling which is clearly linked inseparably to divine law about the importance of receiving the Body of Christ worthily (cf. I Cor. 11: 27-30), canon 844 #4 rules that not even in danger of death may any non-Catholic Christian be given Holy Communion unless he/she “demonstrates the Catholic faith in respect of [this Sacrament]”.

Pope Francis’ words and actions yesterday in Sweden therefore raise extremely grave questions. To me they are beyond comprehension. How can they escape the charge of constituting a betrayal of our faith in the central mystery of Catholic worship?

The Catechism says it all!!!

+AM+DG

Fr Hunwicke on 12th October, 2016 posted an article on his blogsite “Newman and Liberalism and the Spirit of the Antichrist”. One blogger posted a comment with a quote from the CCC. I have included the quote from the CCC below. See the full article at http://liturgicalnotes.blogspot.com.au/

Truth:

CCC 157: Faith is certain. It is more certain than all human knowledge because it is founded on the very word of God who cannot lie. To be sure, revealed truths can seem obscure to human reason and experience, but the certainty that the divine light gives is greater than that which the light of natural reason gives.“[31 St. Thomas Aquinas, STh II-II 171, 5, obj. 3.] “Ten thousand difficulties do not make one doubt.”[32 John Henry Cardinal Newman, Apologia pro vita sua (London Longman, 1878) 239.]

CCC 158: “Faith seeks understanding”:[33 St. Anselm, Prosl. prooem. PL 153 225A.] it is intrinsic to faith that a believer desires to know better the One in whom he has put his faith, and to understand better what He has revealed; a more penetrating knowledge will in turn call forth a greater faith, increasingly set afire by love. The grace of faith opens “the eyes of your hearts”[34 Eph 1:18.] to a lively understanding of the contents of Revelation: that is, of the totality of God’s plan and the mysteries of faith, of their connection with each other and with Christ, the centre of the revealed mystery. “The same Holy Spirit constantly perfects faith by his gifts, so that Revelation may be more and more profoundly understood.”[35 Dei Verbum] In the words of St. Augustine, “I believe, in order to understand; and I understand, the better to believe.”[36 St. Augustine, Sermo 43, 7, 9: PL 38, 257-258.]

Errors of the papacy:

“Amoris Laetitiae” – Communion for divorced and remarried;

Communion for practising homosexuals which “In the spirit of the synod” is being propounded and, in some cases, practised by some clergy; some homosexual couples have even had ‘blessings’ by sympathetic priests;

Encyclicals (Laudato Si) which is all about the environment and God is not mentioned; A Light show on the Vatican buildings that, besides the environment, showed pagan gods;

Holy Thursday foot washing ceremonies which do not honour Jesus washing the feet of His first bishops;

Monthly “prayer intentions” videos that are not prayer intentions at all – they sound more like election policies; they talk of how ‘sport’ can fix all the problems (not God, mind you).

A pope who pokes fun at Traditional Catholics: the “Rosary counters”; “those who breed like rabbits”;

… ad infinitum

Is the Pope Catholic???

It’s all in the Catechism!!!

The CCC157 and CCC158 (see above)   quotes Cardinal Newman and St Augustine and explains how true Faith builds one’s understanding of God’s law:

If “ten thousand difficulties do not make one doubt”, what does this say about all the modernist cardinals, bishops and priests, (including the man who sits in the chair of Peter), who think we have to adapt God’s laws –  for the divorced and remarried who want to receive Holy Communion without repentance/ Confession ?

The answer is simple: it seems they don’t have enough Faith, or perhaps they don’t have any true Faith, because if they did, they would know that God is God and the certainty that the divine light gives is greater than that which the light of natural reason gives”. They need to have a deeper and fuller understanding, and if they lack this, they need to pray for it instead of wanting to just please themselves: “a more penetrating knowledge will in turn call forth a greater faith.”

It’s all in the Catechism, and in the writings of the saints. There is no excuse!

They are supposedly educated in the priesthood – they should know better, and they should be teaching us from the pulpit about these Truths and God’s Law. That’s their job.  The few faithful (priests and laity) are fighting a tidal wave of apostasy from the Truth. Many “good Catholics” are being dragged along in the rip and will perish.

“… But yet the Son of man, when he cometh, shall he find, think you, faith on earth?”  (Luke 18:8)(Douay Rheims Bible)

What can we do?

*“Stay faithful” and fight like you have never fought before!

(*Cardinal Burke’s advice.)

Sowing division in the Church… PF’s (FP’s) homily – The REAL source of division.

+AMDG+

st-wolfgang-and-devilMy daughter emailed me and said: “This article is deceptive and needs comment! It is FP who attacks the Body of Christ and true teachings/True Christ but instead, like the devil, he turns everything on its head! This needs exposure. I’m hoping you can do an article?”

Well, this article and another one (Pope Francis evangelise with your whole life – don’t proselytise on Sept, 9, 2016) sure put the fire into me! I will only comment on the first article. I didn’t know what to write, but here goes.

The original article was “In his homily at morning Mass, Pope Francis told the faithful Monday that Satan is out to divide the Church by sowing ambition, jealousy and greed among its members.” by Thomas D. Williams, Ph.D.12 Sep 2016 at http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2016/09/12/pope-francis-devil-wages-dirty-war-destroy-church/.

I will reproduce the article in black, with my response under each paragraph in red and Donna Liane’sresponse in light blue.

________________________________________

(The Headline) In his homily at morning Mass, Pope Francis told the faithful Monday that Satan is out to divide the Church by sowing ambition, jealousy and greed among its members.

He usually aims accusations like these, for some reason, at Traditionalists. And when he can’t, he aims it at everyone in the Church- without basis. If he wants to name Bishops, cardinals etc doing that, then he would have to name his own! As far as Traditionalists and the ordinary devoted laity go: What ambition; except for Christ? What jealousy- except to guard the Holy Eucharist with singular love and devotion? What greed, except to secure the maximum number of souls for Christ and His Heavenly Kingdom?

If it’s Satan who is out to divide the Church, then who is Satan using to cause the division; to bring in ideas and practices that are contrary to Christ and His teachings?

Commenting on the Letter of St. Paul to the Corinthians, where Paul reprimands the early Christians for their quarrels, factions and infighting, Pope Francis said that “the devil has two powerful weapons to destroy the Church: divisions and money.”

In the church of today – guess who started the divisions?! Guess who introduced divisive theories and tactics? E.g. at the Synod. How is money causing division in the Church? I have no idea what he is talking about. He talks about the poor, and economic inequities … is that what he is talking about? He is just making a ridiculous assertion, that the enemies of the Church will grab hold of, and applaud. People don’t see the Marxist bent – the communism that Our Lady of Fatima warned us against.

On the one hand, the Pope said before a group of faithful in the chapel at the Saint Martha residence where he lives in the Vatican, divisions destroy the Church by attacking its unity. This happened from the beginning, when “ideological and theological divisions tore at the Church.”

Ideological and theological divisions stem from the people who do not want to accept the Faith as it was handed down by Christ to His Apostles with the authority of The Holy Spirit. They want to change the Faith, to suit modern society. Unity is important, but not at the expense of Truth! If you substitute your own ideas, and promote them as being an improvement, you are saying that you know better than God! This is a human-based Church – it is blasphemous and contrary to the unifying Truth found in the Church of Christ.

The devil engages in a “dirty war” by sowing divisions, the Pope said, “like terrorism.” In this way, he spreads “jealousies, ambitions, ideas, but to divide!” he said.

What? Did I hear right? That doesn’t make sense. Who is jealous? What a ridiculous idea. In fact this man continually speaks badly about the Mystical Body of Christ – (jealousies, ambitions, greed). This is blasphemous – the Mystical Body of Christ is sacred, with Christ as the Head. It’s a “dirty war” alright where Francis sows divisions and then blames everyone else. Interesting comparison FP uses: Terrorism controls people through fear. Guess who are silent through fear at the moment? Are all the good faithful Bishops, Cardinals and priests afraid of speaking up against Francis? He has been called a ruthless dictator by those within. He has harshly criticized, silenced dissenters, disbanded, replaced or exiled them. This is the future that good faithful shepherds can look forward to.

These divisions in the Church, Francis said, “do not let the Kingdom of God grow and they do not present the Lord as He is.”

“…present The Lord as He is”? Does he mean ‘merciful’? FP’s mercy is false mercy – mercy without repentance. This is not the true Church. I guess he wants the Kingdom of God to grow with this false mercy. This won’t grow anything except the new One World Church. It is the “church of darkness” as described by Venerable Abp. Fulton Sheen and other saints. When The Lord is presented as He truly is, we see that He is Justice and Mercy and that He is all Holy. He tells us to ‘go and sin no more’.

Satan’s attacks aim to strike the Church at the very center of Christian unity, “the Eucharistic celebration,” Francis said.

All twisted – again!! An attack against the Blessed Eucharist! The CCC teaches that the “Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life.” The Christian Life is not the same as Christian Unity – especially the unity that FP is talking about. This echoes recent events where the Eucharist is being abused as a tactic to allow divorced and remarried people (who do not have an annulment & continue unrepentant in mortal sin) to come back to the Church. He is promoting blasphemous Communion, which St Paul spoke very strongly about. It is he who attacks The Eucharist. The Christian life is based on Christ’s teachings. If a Church teaches something that is against Christ’s teachings, then it is NOT a CHRISTIAN teaching. (e.g. Amoris Laetitia). Our Church teaches faithfully and he seeks to undermine.

He noted Paul’s criticism of the Corinthians who made distinctions between rich and poor even during the Eucharistic celebration. In contrast, Francis said, Jesus “prayed to the Father for unity.”

Yes, unity in Christ’s teachings – i.e. as passed down in His Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, If you follow Christ’s teachings, you are Christian. If you want to make your own rules and adapt Christ’s teachings to the modern world, then you are not Christian. Jesus prayed that all would be one, as He and the Father are One. Unity can only be achieved through The Blessed Trinity.

“But the devil tries to destroy it,” he said.

He sure does! He is cunning, and manipulative, appeals to our vanity and pride, and twists the Truth.

“I ask you to do everything possible not to destroy the Church with divisions, whether they are ideological, or stem from greed, ambition or jealousy.”

This is just what the FP is doing!! (Communion for divorced and remarried; Communion for Lutherans; acceptance of homosexual behaviours, acceptance of adulterous behaviour and fornication …) He claims that we destroy ‘the Church’ with our divisions, which he has, in fact,  himself caused. And then he calls us divisive if we won’t follow the counter-church he seeks to grow from within! Ahh, he is a clever devil!

“And above all, pray and guard the source, the root of unity of the Church, which is the Body of Christ,” he said.

Yes, let’s pray for the unity of the Church, the TRUE church, the Church that is built on Christ’s teachings, and not on the adaptations of man.

PF is the FP – that’s for sure. He turns everything on its head –and twists the Truth.

There is another much more academic response to this homily of the FP. It is from Robert de Mattei at :

http://rorate-caeli.blogspot.com/2016/09/the-real-source-of-division-in-church.html

and is entitled    The Real Source of Division in the Church”.

His concluding paragraph states:

Divisions however, have their source in the two-forked language of the Devil and are defeated most of all by the truth: the truth of the Faith and morality, but also the truth of language and behaviour, which means renouncing all lies, falsification and reserve, following the teaching of the Gospel “[…] let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of the evil one. (Matthew, 5 v 37)
